The Klayar Beach is the most popular seaside destination in Pacitan Regency, East Java Province. It's a long beach with brownish sand, a practically flat shore at some parts and hilly on the East. The sand makes a good spot for family recreation, especially the ATVs. The hills on the East make an exotic place for pictures, especially the Spinx-like spike. There are food stalls and shops offering simple foods. Motor vehicles are not allowed along the beach, but visitors can ride a taxi-ATV for little money from the parking lot to the hills and back. Toilets available. The beach is far from the main road.

This place is a must. Absolutely fantastic beach, with excellent views easy access with four wheel drive. Its so good when you come at the weekdays

Probably one of the popular beach in Pacitan. I have to say it’s impressive . I love the big waves. The only thing I have to highlighted is that there’s no such an establishment that we could sit and enjoy the view beside of warung hut style that not actually selling “ real food” beside of instant stuff. I might don’t see if they even offer but one hit to another looks the same.

this is one of the best beach I've even been in Java island, white sand beach, accomodation was cheap, very accessible, food was unbelievably cheap, and the stunning view? gosh im speechless, definitely should go here if u ever visit pacitan city

It doesn't hurt to be far from Bandung, round trip to Pacitan, stay one day back in Bandung, bring memories of beautiful beaches, get cheap accommodation right in front of the beach, chicken penyett food, highly recommended Joss

If a woman says the mat is free, don't believe it. Instead of regretting it As far as I know, rent it to your heart's content It's 30 thousand to rent a mat but only for 1 hour. Even though the beach is not that crowded, it's not a weekend The initial agreement was that it could be as much as you like, and required me to buy young coconuts for each person. Even though I was in a group of 6. Finally we moved to Watu Karang, where it's better, you can get as many tickets as you like as long as you have snacks there 🙏

What a wonderful place

It's one of a good place in Pacitan East Java. Cool view, nice wave, and perfect combination. You can see many things here, and find many activities. So famous place and you will not regret.

Absolute hidden gem... Best possible besch from Jogja... 3 hours drive from Yogyakarta.. But its a pristine beach with local eating facilities and blue ocean....

Klayar beach offers white sand and beautiful scenery, after we passed through up & down hillside. There are red flags for warning people to keep away from danger area (stinger jellyfish & ferocious wave). The entry fee is 15k for adult and 5k for kids. Parking area is far from beach, so we have to order ojek about 5k per order

Actually, this beach is nice.. Access from the parking lot to the beach is also good.. However, the presence of ATVs used on the beach is very disturbing.. Once again.. Very, very disturbing. Apart from the noise... Also, drivers/renters often drive ATVs recklessly... If you are hoping to go on holiday to the beach because you want to enjoy nature... It's better not to go to this beach... Be careful of fast ATVs. Take care of your small children.

The place is at the bottom of the hill, so when we enter, we will be presented with a fairly steps descent from the hill. when you want to come here, be careful on the small steps down, and also the steep stairs will take a lot of energy, so usually there will be stalls a few meters and kilometers beside the stairs for us to rest for a while, but, the journey is really cool and exciting. a must visit place!
