Patia Central Buddhist Monastery is a modern artistic beauty, creative work and scenery mixed with Buddhist art. As soon as you enter the monastery, you will see two golden angels calling you to peace and nirvana. There are security arrangements. You will find art galleries on the walls, photo galleries on the walls, monolova artwork on the pillars as if it is touching gold. You can. Go up the stairs from the hall room and see a prince smiling softly in a golden robe. Patiya Central Buddhist Monastery & Welfare Complex Patiya Central Buddhist Monastery and Welfare Complex" is an institution of practicing Buddhism, Buddhist philosophy and Buddhist culture and it is located in Patiya municipal headquarters of Chattogram district, Bangladesh. Primary form of establishment In 1997, some devout persons residing in Patiya Municipal Headquarters took initiative to establish a monastery. Later, in 1999/2000 they bought 5227 Square Feet of land and built a monastery with a tin shed. Ongoing projects It is a unique place of pilgrims for the practice and development of Buddhist-philosophy-culture, important religious days such as Buddha Purnima (Vesak Day or Full moon day), Ashari Purnima, Madhu Purnima, Pravarana Purnima, Katina Chibar Dana(Offering Katina Robe),other national, religious days and rituals are celebrated with due solmnity. On those days of the occasion Buddha Puja(worship), Giving Alms, Sanghadana (offering monks), Taking Precepts, Meditation, Religious Talk and Discussion and Meetings are held with due importance. In addition, national/state and international days are celebrated with due homage.
