It's an amazing place to hangout with friends and families on weekends. The place is neat and tidy, the workers are great and the 'OPEN GYM' accommodated in it is beneficial and facilitative for people that reside nearby(especially for adults). The gleaming lights are a beautiful sight at night from a distance. And it is exhilarating to walk through and under the Lucent lights hung and decorated all along the 700metres(approx) long renewed-Historical Landmark.

Frequented by people of all ages. This place though sometimes packed with people and noisy is a great place to catch a fresh evening breeze once the crowd gets settled. The neon lights add to the beauty and attract the lovey dovey. One can just chill in the evening sitting on the grass or stroll through the long alley of the riverfront which leads up to the Kangla Nongpok Thong. One can ride bi-cycles inside the complex. Bi-cycles are available inside. Or one can just do with the open gym available for their daily light workout. Have fun ๐Ÿ˜Š

    It's only about 1 km at most. I visited during daytime in the afternoon around 4pm during summer(june). To be honest it feels like it's made for at most 10-15 people at a time, the gym equipment can only be used by at most 10 people at a time. I suggest if u want to visit visit during the evening and night time when the lights are on. Tickets cost are in the photos i provided. Cost- rs 20 (for above 7yrs old)

This is a great river bank garden or recreational park constructed to promote or improve physical activities for the people who love to workout, jog or even chill out when you need some fresh air. This kind of step taken by the government should be appreciated as without doubt it extremely promotes the tourism of Manipur. And the best part is... ... If you are visiting in the early morning you don't have to pay or buy any tickets to enter ...KUDOS to the government. Peace

I live quite close by to Nongpok Torban however I couldnโ€™t visit as the place was either packed or I was busy. The other day, I was on my way back home after picking my son up from school and my son and I had a little time to spare so we took a walk inside. Although not spacious, I find it enough to come and just chill. Do nothing but sit and relax. The open gym kept my son busy while I sat on one of the benches and thought about what a failure I had become ๐Ÿ˜… Jokes apart, I truly appreciate the governmentโ€™s effort for coming up with a space in the heart of Imphal city. I hope the govt will introduce โ€œbuskingโ€ here. It would surely lighten the place :)

This location resembles a jogger's park with limited outdoor gym equipment. The pavement is split into two sectionsโ€”one for pedestrians and another for cycling (rentable app-based cycles are available near the entrance). The pavement might seem narrow if crowded, but utilizing such spaces near a seasonal river/nallah is beneficial. However, there's room for improvement in the park's amenities. From morning 5.30am to 6pm remain open

Always closed whenever I go. I guess they open when there's no one around... Don't know... Can't tell... Ask the government...
