I
stopped
into
the
TQ
recently,
in
the
early
afternoon.
I
was
downtown
and
I
had
an
appointment
to
go
to
around
4
PM,
so
I
thought
the
TQ
would
provide
an
interesting
interlude.
I
have
not
been
into
the
TQ
since
before
covid.
Nothing
has
changed
inside;
the
decor
is
the
same
and
indeed
many
of
the
ladies
dancing
and
serving
are
the
same.
Somethings
change
and
others
remain
the
same.
The
music
was
still
good,
with
mostly
rock
and
roll
being
played.
I
had
a
gin
and
tonic
followed
by
2
more
G&T's.
I
spoke
to
the
serving
lady
who
asked
me
if
I
wanted
to
change
seats,
which
I
did
and
then
purchased
her
a
drink
also.
Calling
for
my
bill
I
was
surprised
to
see
that
the
price
for
a
G&T
was
160
baht,
and
2
for
the
price
of
one
until
4
PM.
I
think
the
lady's
drink
was
150.
I
immediately
had
my
4th
G&T
to
make
up
my
2
for
one
quota.
The
total
was
470
baht.
I
do
not
know
how
long
the
2
for
the
price
of
one
has
been
going
on,
nor
how
long
it
will
continue,
but
it
is
certainly
worthwhile
at
present.
Beer
is
~90
baht
(I
think).
I
do
not
drink
too
much
beer
so
I
cannot
be
certain.
So,
if
you
are
out
in
Pattaya
in
the
early
afternoon
(TQ
always
opens
at
1PM.
I
suggest
you
give
the
TQ
a
try.
