The other reviews are true. The waitstaff is not very friendly. They are not rude. But they do not seem to care. Maybe the owner is hiring the wrong people. Maybe after a few brushes with rude and demanding customers, the waitstaff changed their attitude. I don't know. The food is not expensive. So you can imagine the clientele that frequents Harry's. After more than ten visits, I stopped going because the restaurant is an open space and they allow smoking inside. You should be thanking me for visiting over ten times rather than arguing with me. I never said it was bad. I said I stopped going to Harry's because you allow smoking inside the restaurant, which is in violation of the law. You are supposed to have a separate area designated for smoking. I do not want cigarette smoke and ashes blowing in my face when I am eating. If you still do not understand, then go to The Nest next door. They do not allow smoking in the main dining area. Smoking is permitted in the outside terrace separated from the main dining area, which is in accordance with the law. Also, The Nest waitstaff is friendly and happy. I wonder why. But a chain-smoking lawless Christopher Columbus-type northern European like you would neither understand nor care. You even allow dirty shirtless guys to enter your restaurant. That is also a violation.

Walked in just as a bell was rang. A free shot came with the beer. Friendly staff and customers, good place to people watch.

Dear Owner, the sliding door to the balcony was only improvised mounted. The noise from outside was zero muffled, no difference whether you are in the room or on the balcony. Good luck falling asleep. Service or let me say cleaning woman does a amazing job, I gave her good tip. But the rest of the service and bar ladies were very rude, unsympathetic and never smiled. Sometimes I thought, I have to say sorry because I booked a room here.. but still I correct my rating I give one more star because the food was pretty good and I could do a late check out at 13:00

I really wanted to like this place, but had few things that knocked two stars. I ordered the planksteak pork since this place is known for it. Only other time i had this dish was at the nearby Beefeater’s, which is a pattaya standard. Now its not a fair comparison since the Beefeater’s planksteak is more expensive, but i was hoping harrys would provide a more budget friendly option. It came out gorgeous, the pork steak was cooked perfect and moist… mash was good and the veggies were nice, especially the bacon wrapped asparagus… but the fatal flaw was the all important gravy and the bernaise, both were salt-bombs, like they sat in a warmer too long and it reduced, making them wayyy too salty and overpowering everything on the plate. i carefully worked around them. Maybe it was just an off night, I am planning to return for the swedish meatballs and hope they fix that gravy. So i hope the kitchen would pay a bit more attention to the sauces because in my opinion, sauce is boss.

I write this recension to non Swedish people since most Swedish already know this place. This place have very good food and I recommend trying the Plankstek. Choose pork or beef, It is served on a piece off wood with vegetables, black & white sauce and mashed potatoes. That is a lot of food and always made the same way so one know what to get. If you try it I am sure you will be back.

Played golf twice with Harry's golf⛳ was a great time. Drinks are competitive but have not tried the food.

Good breakfast at reasonable price. Seems they need to update table menus though on price 🤔 maybe I read table menu wrong for breakfast..say 150 (e.g., omelet with coffee) but ticket is 180. Not significant... My bad....after a few more visits.....the font used on the menu is a bit scripted...was hard to distinguish between 8 and 5. Suggest a non series font;)

Have been here for a drink about 4 times in the last month. Mainly because we like the music. But won’t be going again. Staff in the bar are very inattentive and nearly always one of us has to go to the bar to get their attention. Last night was the final straw,when one of the staff was rude to my girlfriend.

11am breakfast, picked the Omelette, well worth it, struggling to finish it, easily best breakfast I have had in Pattaya so far

Joined the Golf Society here, so only really popped into the bar quickly. But what I can say is the food I had was great, especially the full breakfast set before playing golf. The staff were generally very smiley, happy and helpful. Easy to get to as well. Baht bus up Soi Buakhao or the central road will get you to either end of the street Harrys is in. I have only eaten european food here. To my opinion not very good cooking. But some friends are lyric about their western food.

World renowned Kungs had a power outage so I diverted to Harry’s. Fond memories of succulent lamb slices and signature Swedish meatballs on the brainstem, I spied the before 1AM breakfast specials. Harry’s breakfast was two exemplary fried eggs and a large portion cubed/diced home fries dusted in paprika (?). Bacon that’s perfect and a disappointing mini dog thing. Microscope needed to find the tiny toast wedges. But delicious. Happy as could be but for the temp of the coffee. Good, tasty coffee but Luke warm, not hot on Both visits. What was of intrigue was the table top tent card boasting of American Pancakes with Bacon. Next day. Four smallish pancakes intermittently layered with crispy bacon. That bacon grease naturally transfers to the pancakes. Yum. A blast of maple syrup. But where’s the butter? For four perfect browned off over a very hot griddle and very well done throughout. I cried foul on the 25b uptick for the butter. Staff complied with my sentiment that a stack of American pancakes, without exception, includes a pat of real butter melting away and sliding down the stack. Tip of the hat on fantastic pancakes. So many places the pancakes are downright awful. The Danish touch? I’ve had many a lunch special here as well. Not a bad meal in the bunch. But Harry’s is now for me a really, really good breakfast option. Thanks for some damned good pancakes.

Maybe I was just unlucky today or maybe all the chickens were eaten during the holidays and nothing was left , but : today I had a Caesar Salad which hardly could be called that way . On top there were a few pieces of chicken , but that was it . The rest was pure salad and I felt like a rabbit . The dressing they put in a bowl , and it was impossible to dress the salad without spoiling over the bowl and no spoon was given either . And the croutons were either not or hardly baked because they were not crispy. So for me personally , I can't recommend this one.

Went to try the restaurant for breakfast for the first time. I ordered pancakes and bacon. Actually, it's not bad. I wanted a cup of coffee. What I got was half a cup of coffee. I definitely didn't get the welcome vibe. It was more like why are you here? I don't plan on coming back.

Very good location near lk metro. Ordered the minute steak. It was an innovative and delicious dish. I really enjoyed it. The bar staff are welcoming and polite. Will come back!

The rooms are run down and out dated. The AC didn’t work, bed was very uncomfortable, no safe in the rooms and the glass in the elevator was smashed not to mention the dust in the vents. Also had a huge rat run across my feet while waiting for the elevator.

Went here for dinner. I had the Swedish meatballs and it was good. 230 baht. TV screens for sports if you like.

Booked for 20 nights and could only stay for 1 doors on balcony could not be locked, bad stains on curtains. Noise from Area 51 bar across the street was unbearable. Just hope Agoda will get back my money.

Please be careful when playing games and drinking alcohol at the bar counter. Some women steal money on the table tubes. When finish money in tube, you get a big bill without an invoice.

Very good steak and mashed potatoes. Havent tried anything else yet. Best for swedish people.

First Swedish restaurant experience. Manager is a HHH and thus introduction. Very interesting and varied menu. Has a hotel with a lot of rooms too. Known for Plank steak special and we enjoyed that as stated and advertised. Wife had a good salad.

I came to Harry's to try the planked steak and I wasn't disappointed. Well presented and very tasty. Situated in Soi Dianna this bar restaurant is a must visit to try the food.

What’s up with your “Cesar salad”? What I was just served had nothing to do with a Cesar salad. It looked pretty, had all the basic ingredients; Romain lettuce, bacon, chicken , parmesan etc. but no Cesar dressing. Just a side of sweet mayonnaise. This was by far the worst Cesar salad I’ve ever had. If a salad is not tossed with Cesar dressing by the chef or waiter, it is not a Cesar salad. Unless the dressing is requested on the side. I usually don’t like to leave bad reviews but I’m sure other customers will also complain if they are served what I was.

Worst breakfast I’ve had in all of Thailand. I asked for eggs cooked only one side. They did but cooked so long the underside looked as brown as pancakes. They cooked the ham too so it was all dried out and chewy. Fried potatoes looked liked they would glow in the dark. Inedible, had to go to another restaurant to eat. Should get zero stars. Staff was miserable.

Friendly staff, great live band on a Monday when we were there. We ate swedish food, huge portion and tasty. Good prices too. Thank you 🙏

The pork flank was good and they allowed me to change the mashed potatoes to rice which is much more preferable to me.

Don't know if we was unlucky this time, food good and tasty. But service could be improved, more attention from the staff and had put 4-star.

Expensive! A small beer and a small wine was 230 baht. Compared to other bars in the area we are paying around 150 baht. Slight variations in each bar.
