Good beach with crystal water. But the main entrance must be improved. When I visit today(25OCT2013) it was not the road but the swamp indeed that it was impossible to go in by walk.

The beach is long and calm and no tourist boats. There're restaurants along the beach but no shops, bars and convenient shops. The restaurant that I really like is the one with beachbags (almost at the end of the beach). The owners are really nice, friendly and polite. Food are also good.

The best beach on koh larn. Crystal clear water (at this time) There are a few restaurants there. Getting cold drinks and tasty food. You are paying for a sun chair 40 THB per person which is everywhere on Koh Larn. Chilled Beach on koi yan. Less crowded in mornings. Food from vendors good. No real natural shade, but plenty of 100baht deckchairs and unbrellas

Samae Beach is about a kilometer long beach. The beach can be seen from the view point on the hill of Koh Lan as well. Although the beach is not as long as Tawaen Beach, there are many visitors because of various activities. Currently, the place is being renovated to attract more tourists. Another interesting place on the beach is Stingray Building (It is a stingray shaped building), which is electricity control center of Koh Lan. If looking from the entrance of Samae Beach, the Stingray building is on the right and a viewpoint pavilion beside the building. On the left, there is a wooden pathway to sea rocks, where is a popular photo spots for tourists. Samae Beach also has rooms available. If anyone wants to stay near the sea, you can try to look for it. It isn’t difficult to go because there are signs along the way to Samae Beach. If you come through the police station will be easier because it's a straight road and there will be an entrance to Samae Beach almost to the end. (Tien Beach is located at the end of the road, which is close to Samae Beach. It takes a little time to go)

An ideal beach for lovers of white sand and clear water

Beautiful relaxing beach to take the family swimming for the day and some fun in the sun. Not too crowded with tourists like the other beaches on the island.

Nice choice for beach in Koh Larn. I think better option than overcrowded Tawaen. Easy and fast access by collective taxi from both piers (Na Baan - 30Bht, Tawaen 40Bht). Sunbeds at 100Bht, small restaurants with good Thai meal.

Calm and peace is here.... Come alone or with family, this plaze is amazing. Clean water and there are stays available.

All the buildings seem to be getting old. The beach itself is quite clean, the water quality appears to be OK. There are few opportunities to sit at a normal table in the shade to eat and drink. If only for a “sunbed fee”. That's just whoever likes it. I didn't notice any toilets. Getting there from the road is a bit difficult, there is construction going on at the moment. Anyone who knows Thailand is actually constantly building/renovating, no matter what the days.

You will need a motorbike to get here. Popular beach very long.

We got a speed boat straight to this beach from Pattaya. Great beach ⛱️ and not too crowded like some of the others on Kho Larn.

On koh larn, lounge chairs 50 baht pee chair. Relax and get a pedicure for 200 bahts. Seafood very fresh from their seafood tanks and inexpensive. 27 USD for our spread, oysters, coconut shrimp, fried rice, Tom yum goon soup and a large beer

It's very beautiful beach with white sand and great views. Fantastic restaurants and excellent service with smile. This beach is one of the best in Thailand.

A quieter and much more deserted beach, not a lot of people here because generally they don't really have much going on. No activities or food and drink vendors. Mostly just deserted and run down stalls. Beach isn't well maintained either. The sand was rough and brown, unlike Tien beach where it was pristine and water super clear. Overall, just a stop by otw to Tien beach. Nothing to do here.

Very nice and long beach clean water

Nice beach but with a lot of pebbles that hurt a little to walk on, but further out into the sea it was fine sand. Many places to sit and eat and with good food.

Very nice view. Water is very clean. You can enjoy some paid water rides.

Gorgeous, secluded beach. It's got restaurants and beach lounges for comfort and good food👌 It's much quieter then the main beaches which I enjoyed. The water was crystal clear💦 which was really pleasant to see after seeing dirty water at Pattaya beach.
