Not much privacy, comfort or rest here. Someone with a room key walked into our room on two separate occassions, unannounced, in the middle of the afternoon. Ensure you activate the chain lock (see photo below) every time you enter the room and keep your valuables in the safe. We also had someone call from front desk at 9am on a Sunday for no reason other than to ask about our stay. Not a great way to wake up after a Saturday night on the town. As far as room quality goes, see the rest of the pictures and decide for yourself. This hotel may be a 3-star soon.

I'm currently staying at LK The Empress and the one word to sum up my stay so far is disappointing. The majority of staff are helpful here, but there are a few that look like they are new to customer service I would say. That could be potentially one of two things. Either they need more customer service training as previous reviews have stated or their managers are treating them poorly and should not be managers. But that certainly needs to be looked at. The rooms are adequate, clean, and ok. With the premium price for rooms though, I was expecting more. I stayed in a deluxe double room and maybe I was lucky, or spoiled, with the hotels I stayed in while in Phuket. For example I'll give the following details on something as simple as water provided. In Phuket in every hotel I stayed in you were given 4 bottles of water, 2 for drinking or making coffee and two for brushing your teeth. Here you only get two bottles. It's a small but clear example of what this hotel now is. The breakfast buffet was incredibly underwhelming. On some of the plates holding the tongs for food there were ants. The fruit selection was poor, and again I'm just left feeling disappointed. Also I've seen online how this hotel is guest friendly. If you are a person looking for that please reconsider as they now charge 500 Baht per guest joining you. I doubt I'll see any reply from the hotel to this review, they seem to love to respond to glowing reviews. Funny that isn't it. Overall I would say if you are coming to stay in Pattaya, even with the decent location of this hotel, I would recommend you find and book another one. I can't recommend this hotel, and I won't be either.

I had bad experiences with night shift guys. They are not cooperative even they don’t lissen you if you have visitor or guest they will don’t look after your safety and your things. They return guest id without letting you know. I stayed couple of hotels all of them they called me & asked before return the id. Clear forgot to put water bottle in my room when i came in my room I noticed there is no water bottle then i asked night shift employer about bottle she said sir don’t lie to us if you need more i will give you but don’t lie. This is the way to talk to customers i said mam i m happy to pay i was just letting you know. Couple of more things overall I won’t suggest you to stay this hotel.

"From the moment I stepped into LK The Empress, I was greeted with a royal touch. The hotel exudes a sense of elegance and grandeur, making me feel like I had stepped into a palace. The attention to detail in the design and decor is truly impressive. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. They were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions I had. It was clear that they take great pride in providing top-notch service. The location of the hotel is excellent, with the Central Festival Mall just a stone's throw away. I loved the convenience of having a direct entrance to the mall from the hotel. The mall itself offers a plethora of branded shops, allowing for a delightful shopping experience. And if that wasn't enough, there is also a fantastic food park area downstairs, offering a wide variety of culinary options. Another advantage of staying at LK The Empress is its proximity to Pattaya Beach. Just a short walk from the hotel, you can find yourself relaxing on the sandy shores and enjoying the beautiful ocean views. Additionally, the famous Walking Street is also nearby, providing an exciting nightlife scene. Now, let's talk about the breakfast. It's safe to say that you won't find a better breakfast spread in Pattaya. The food is not only visually appealing but also incredibly tasty. The range of options is impressive, catering to various palates. What's even more impressive is that even guests staying in other hotels can enjoy this fantastic breakfast by paying a nominal fee of only 300 Thai Baht. It's no wonder that I saw many people from outside the hotel coming to experience it themselves. While the stay at LK The Empress may come with a slightly higher price tag, it is undeniably worth every penny. The hotel places a strong emphasis on hygiene, ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests. This attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness is commendable. My experience at LK The Empress was nothing short of exceptional. The royal ambiance, excellent customer service, unbeatable breakfast, and convenient location make it a standout choice among hotels in Pattaya. Whether you're looking for a luxurious getaway or a memorable staycation, LK The Empress is definitely a hotel that delivers on all fronts. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly regal experience."

Location is best. But the issue is with service, the rooms are vacant, but they do not give u check-in before 2 pm, and if u want early checking, they charge 50% extra amount . Also, the housekeeping service is worse . These hotel do not give any extra water bottle or coffee pouches . Which was a huge shock for me. Only 2 small bottles of water per day and 2 small single serve coffee pouches. The breakfast has very few vegetarian options.

Amazing location i.e. near the beach ..Victorian era feels! Lobby and rooms look great. However breakfast buffet could have been better...more varieties...and catering to all people ... Staffs are polite and friendly. Overall it's a great stay. Value for money.

I was stay from 6th sept to 8th Sept 2022 booked online for 3 rooms. The receptionist are unfriendly she keep shouted to us during our check in, until i told her to be calm down and explain nicely to us about why the deposit couldn't accept Credit card and have to be pay in cash. While other hotel and other country like singapore mostly cashless . 2nd insident on last day before check out we took breakfast and suddenly my niece who was seating next to our table told us that there is a baby cockroach on the prawn. Then i asked her to take picture and called the waiter. And the worst thing no one apologise to us until i approched the duty manager. I would never stay in this hotel anymore. But i will come back to pattaya for sure

Great location just across the beach. Gorgeous main lobby with aristocratic theme. Rooms are big enough with a partial sea view. While initially glamorous and gorgeous, the hotel needs to invest in details maintenance and upkeep. Cleanliness was very good and staff very friendly. Communication in english not the best. Pool is nice and big enough. Buffet breakfast very good.

The hotel is placed right where the actions are in Pattaya. The rooms are very spacey and the bed is really comfortable. The building is kind of old and some of the utilities are old (like the shower robe is noticeably OLD, the doormat is all ripped.) The wall is super thin. I heard the room next to me blasted music all morning the second day.

Upon arrival the room wasn't ready, ok no big deal. Then they try to upgrade me from a premium seaview to a premium alley view.... Now I'm in some room that you kinda see the ocean and it sounds like an air compressor is running non stop in it. I've been in the room 15 mins now and regret ever renting this. Update. After getting locked out 2 times now. I'm finally able to sit on the bed. Which is as soft as the hardwood floor... I have been here 1 hour and it felt like they tried to take advantage of me when I got here and I've only had that feeling since. I also love the really dirty scale they leave in the entry hallway so it feels like home. If you have a dirty scale at home from 1970... Update after first night, I wake up to ants on my counter top... I recommend staying away from this hotel

Property is not well maintained. Per day price is not worth. The cabinets in the washroom were broken. 5k per night is over priced for this property. Breakfast was a 4 ⭐️. They ask for a deposit of 1000 baht which no other 5 star hotel has asked. And the entrance to the hotel is confusing ( there is no sign stating the deviation).

After a brief miscommunication upon arrival, my room was upgraded to exactly what i had wished for during my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and a breathtaking view of beach road and the beach. The staff at the restaurant was really super great. Went out if their way to make sure you get what you want, where you want and how you want. Super ! Have to mention Meo who i wished i had to serve my coffee and food 24/7. The person i had a misunderstanding with upon arrival, turned out to be the most resourful and essential asset this property has. NIcha was just...Special! Thank you Nisha, meo and Mr. Candy for making sure my stay was truly exceptional.

If the prices are comparable, it might be better to go elsewhere.

Stayed on 2 separate occasions in the same holiday. Location wise this Hotel is spot on with walking street and the shopping centres being within walking distance. Plenty of parking under the hotel which was very handy with us having a car. There was plenty of choice offered for breakfast in the form of a buffet and pretty much something for everyone. Nice pool area on the 3rd floor with gym, sauna and steam room. Overall we had a great stay which was why we came back in the same holiday to stay again. The Hotel itself is in need of a little TLC in the odd place but apart from that a very well priced affordable luxury Hotel.

A great hotel for visiting Pattaya. Central, right on the beach, sea view rooms, great breakfast buffet, free sauna, steam room, fitness centre and swimming pool.

The best experience with less price compared to other high grade hotel.Great location just across the beach. Main lobby is very aristocratic. Rooms are big enough with a partial sea view front side(not enough rooms-the main disadvantage of booking) Cleanliness was very good and staffs are very friendly. Pool is nice and aristocratic Buffet breakfast very good with variations.Coffe corner is also the best for see view.

The room is beautiful as in the pictures but very old, I got accident in the room during opening the curtain some wooden 3 meters length fell on my shoulder almost my head. And the breakfast not good and very salty the staff at the restaurant he had move our table without saying anything and let some guy sit at our table that we were there first and not even say sorry to us. Was disappointed with the service and the lady at the front desk does not really care customers no service mind not even say hi !! also concierge guy not even help customers with the luggage they both too busy with their mobile phones. Was unexpected.

The checkin service isn’t good, they seemed lost. They don’t speak English so well, so that made it hard for them to understand what we had requested, and they were confused about the price we had to pay and the deposit. We asked to speak with the manager, but still we had issues. I have never been in a hotel that doesn’t not have a room with two beds, I had to share a bed, something that I wasn’t looking forward to. The room is okay, it smelled like mold, so we had to open the balcony doors to let the air out so we could breathe. The location is okay, it’s not totally water front. Breakfast is okay too. Based solely on my experience during checkin, I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Very polite and friendly staffs. Air con was nice and cold like a new one. The room look a bit old but everything is working good. The breakfast was freshly cooked with the nice amount of choices.

This is a review of the eatery , not of the hotel ! I'm really dumbfounded as to how this hotel obtained 4 🌟 rating. Outside banner proclaiming 300 baht buffet breakfast. Biggest disappointment I found was the manufactured ham soaking in water along with miniature Oscar Weiners. This is what you feed the poor and downtrodden at soup kitchens. Tables to close to one another. Asked the Man with a punters Hat ,if he could clean my table whilst I get my food. It was busy. Yes Sir. Returned to table to find plates still there. I proceeded to remove plates from table when he says "I get somebody to clean table" . I tell him " I asked you to clean" . Deflection of duty and responsibility . Robin Hood on second road, appears to be the benchmark for the 300 baht breakfast.

Relatively old building and old fashion hotel, but with extra large rooms, large bathrooms, balconies, microwave , refrigerator, and of course- meters from Pattaya Beach, minutes from Central festival mall and Royal Garden Plaza Mall, hundreds of restaurants, coffees, and shops around. Definitely will be back.

Great place to stay across the road from the beach. Plenty of eateries and drinking spots closeby. The breakfast was included with the booking and it's more then enough. Good choices. The famous Walking Street is closeby with public transport options at the front door. I would stay again

Very clean and nice hotel. Great location in Central Pattaya and across from the beach. The down parts are the staff was not friendly and the food is less than average. If you do not care about proper greetings with a smile and prefer to dine out then the LK Empress is an excellent choice. Very clean and well-appointed. Rooms are considerably expensive for Pattaya but worth the money if you want a top-tier room for you and your spouse or date. There are plenty of great places for food nearby.

Not a modern hotel and very quaint but clean and at a great location; excellent breakfast; great room and terrific facilities (pool and sauna). I was lucky to get a great deal on their Jacuzzi room and hope to go back there soon. Highly recommended.

Extremely good hotel with best amenities . I always have good experience (from my friends) with this hotel except that I had one of the worst experience which made me checkout early and join another hotel (of the same group). Only 2 requests - Please try to accommodate a customer coming after 33 hours of flight for early checkin when he comes at 10am on a Wednesday night and another hotel of the same group allows you early checkin on a Friday 9am. Please clearly display the joiner fee policy on your website. Apparently policy is same on both hotels but interpretation is different . LK empress is trying to sustain by increasing the income (understandable) but the other hotel under the same group gives more incentives to customer to increase the economies of scale. Apparently this is my first negative review in my whole travelling history.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful, with a great staff (especially the concierge desk). They're right across from the beach, but with no bars/clubs right next door so you can still get some peace and quiet.

I stayed at lk 6 years ago, had great room with ocean views, buffet was great, bacon included. I'm currently there, day 3 of 10. I initially booked 5 days, arrived early and stayed at a different hotel, went online and hit the reserve button for another lk hotel as l wanted to add 5 days to my empress holiday via agoda. Went to LK Empress, talked to staff about my mistake, they called the desk of the other lk and they asked me to go there as well. No problem, short walk, they got my mistake straightened out. Sometimes staff is a little short perhaps but remember they speak Thai. Rooms are pretty much original dated but nice. I advised front desk change my bedding every few days, had issue with one shower head, fixed in an hour, in fact front desk came into restaurant and asked if they could go into the room. Also, they left me 10 water bottles. Saw an Indian post, they wanted more Indian vegetarian food for breakfast. Pattaya and Phuket overrun with those from India. Tons of India restaurants which is not for me. Empress is an elegant older hotel, the furniture though dated is nice and I would not expect hundreds of thousands of investment with the hotel chains being empty for 2 years. Overall, great hotel, great staff. Six years ago, Chinese tourists, they are gone, replaced by Indian and Saudi tourists. I love ❤ LK EMPRESS but likely won't be revisiting Pattaya. Phuket and it's mountains nicer and Koh Samui even nicer. I visited there early in trip and loved it, 80% of businesses closed, not to much traffic.

  • 4/5 Abhishek Kumar S. 1 year ago on Google
Good stay. However, the lift requires a mirror. Hotel also needs renovation as the building looks old. In breakfast, some more Indian items can be added as half of the hotel guests are Indians.

Was a really nice bed and room there, however some super rude guests staying there and made the stay unpleasant. The guy with the hat at breakfast was very rude he asked my friend his room number numerous times and said there is no such room.Turned out he was wrong and obviously needs to go research the rooms available again! The other staff were great especially the cleaners they were so friendly!I wouldn't stay here again because of the guests it attracts
