Smitty’s has been around a long time for a good reason. Good food, prepared fresh. Everything is delicious and you’ll be wondering how soon you can go back. Can’t go wrong with anything here.

First time here. Great food for the $$. The queen size tenderloin sandwich was plenty with a side of jalapeño munchers! Excellent service!

I should have order something other than tenderloin. Just too much breading or me. Service was very frIendly & attentive. Decor is charming. Family owned & proud of it.

Today was my 1st time here and the food was delicious. The service was great and fast. I love how small and cozy retro the place was on the inside. The prices are really good too. I saw a great diversity of people enjoying this place. Gay, straight, old, young, families and all types. I tried an oreo shake and it was very good. I'd go back to say hey to the cook and 3rd generation owner Ben. Wendy was our server and great. A little extra bonus. If you love Pokémon Go, this place is a Poké Stop so stop in and give the food a try and spin the poke stop.

Took a day vacation to Blank Park Zoo down the road. Searched for restaurants in the area & Smitty's popped up. My family was not disappointed. Its a hole in the wall for sure. Needs to be updated on the outside which is where we ate. Food was great though, which is why we came. I ordered the chili cheese loin. My wife had a standard loin. Kids had a 15 piece nugget and fries. My only complaint was the amount of cheese curds received for the price. Overall we spent $ 32.00 & I was satisfied we got a bang for our buck. Would recommend.

It's been 20yrs since I last ate here, damn it's still the same great homemade food. So damn good. Glad after all these years they never changed

Served to order, hot and delicious...simple done right. Less than $10 for my meal and so much better than typical quick eatery fare. The two ladies who took my order and served me are efficient, funny, engaging and reason enough to go back.

It's worth stopping by... I have no idea what a tenderloin sandwich is, but it was good. The onion rings are fresh and homemade. The chocolate malt was awesome. The building is a little deceiving - it is out of the 50's but cool in a history kind of way. The highlight of the visit is the staff... Mindy and Wendy were awesome - great service, super nice, friendly, and a lot of fun. The atmosphere in this place is great

We have become regular customers here because of the great food, prices, staff and atmosphere! Amazing food for the prices!! We choose to eat here over Red Lobster or Panera Bread ( two we use to eat regularly) Here is a King size tenderloin we paid Less than $10 for....took two settings to eat!

I been thinking about this review for quite some time, but I feel like I need to express my feelings after all this is why they put reviews stars. I went there twice and both time felt uncomfortable, not wanted to be served and just not welcomed at all. Waitress just look less than happy to take my order. The only reason I wanted to try them it's because I just moved in down the street. Anyways as my kids and I were coming in some customer outside gave us a stare like we didn't belong there, then as we were leaving with our food he spits like a horse as we walk by. People it's 2023 get over it. Smittys it was not as special as people make it on the reviews it's just a regular experience like going to McDonald's.

It was a quaint lil shop. And we did get there late like 830. The waitress was personable. I got the cheeseburger which was good. Family got the tenderloin was not good. Actually upset their stomachs. So for atmosphere and cheeseburgers the place was okay.

Was fantastic! Same great experience I had when my parents took me as a kid! I hadn't been there in a very long time and I enjoyed the atmosphere the service was fantastic and the food was hot and fresh you don't get that other places you go! It was my birthday so we had quite a few there and the service was awesome! Way to go! Top notch place with a family atmosphere!

Our first time eating here. We ordered a breaded tenderloin, vegetable tenderloin, jalapeño munchers, breaded mushrooms, and chicken nuggets. For drinks we had a root beer, strawberry shake, and vanilla shake. The food and drinks were good. The service was excellent. All of the employees were very friendly. This is a smaller restaurant so there are not a lot of seats for dine-in.

Cozy restaurant known for tenderloins. The service was great. I ordered a Beef Burger and there was plenty of Beef Burger but it was watery and had no added flavor. Had to add mustard and ketchup to give it some flavor. I will return to try the tenderloin.

Giant pork tenderloin sandwiches. Great crunchy breading. Only get the king size if you are seriously hungry. Veggie adds tomato and lettuce but they only cover about a quarter of the meat area, as does the bun. Cheese curds are excellent too. We took the staff's advice and got the white curds. These appear to be real cheese curds; maybe the yellow ones aren't. Very nice people. Only downside was we sat at a table in the front of the building - was cold on a frigid Iowa night. Highly recommended if you are in the area and want a classic tenderloin.

A nice old fashioned diner that's worth the visit even just for the atmosphere. The tenderloin sandwich was okay, could be with more flavor.

Took my friend from the PNW here when she said she wanted a tenderloin. I've never eaten here, but heard good things. She enjoyed her sandwich. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Fried mushrooms are a rarity on menus, so I ordered them. Again, delicious. Super friendly and fast service. I'm bringing ALL my out of state visitors here!

Good food huge pork sandwich. Great customer service and super fast only waited for like 10min and was 6 other customers orders in too. Only reason didn’t get higher rating is wasn’t much flavor on onion rings or breading of pork loin. Could use some seasoning.
