The Palace of Peace and Reconciliation also translated as the Pyramid of Peace and Accord, is a 62-metre-high (203 ft) pyramid in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan, that serves as a non-denominational national spiritual centre and an event venue. Designed by Foster and Partners, with a stained glass apex and windows by architectural artist Brian Clarke, the Palace was constructed to house the triennial Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, and completed in 2006. Built by Sembol Construction at a cost of 8.74 billion Kazakh tenge (approx. $58 million), the project was conceived as a permanent venue for the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which meets triennially in a purpose-built conference chamber at the apex of the pyramid. In 2011 and 2013, the International Astana Action Film Festival was held in the Palace.

(Translated by Google) A palace for all religions, place very quickly to have the emblematic bearing in Nur-Sultan, buy your ticket and you are inside. The largest of the republics that were members of the Soviet Union, hosted the first congress of world leaders and traditional religions in this place (Original) Un palacio para todas las religiones, lugar con gran rapidez para tener el porte de emblemático en Nur-Sultan, comprar tu ticket y estás adentro. La mayor de las que fuesen repúblicas integrantes de la unión soviética, fue anfitriona del primer congreso de los líderes del mundo y las religiones tradicionales en este lugar

I've of the must visit when in Astana! An architecture masterpiece! Be aware that occasionally it's not open to the public, because of private events. Better check before visiting.

Internet conspiracy theories led me here. It turns out to be a pretty interesting art gallery, religious museum, and neutral ground for various religious conferences. My guide was in English and really friendly and informative. CONS: Entrance experience is very poor. There's 10 identical doors at the front entrance, and all but one of them locked, with no indication of which one. After finally finding the correct door to go inside, was met by a very moody metal detector operator who gestured vaguely over to a small window to buy tour tickets. After buying the tickets, was told to go over to the cafe and wait, without any indication of who I was waiting for. Entrance experience aside, still a very interesting place from outside and in.

I was astonished by this Pyramid of Peace designed by British architect Foster during my trip to Kazahkastan. It is built 62 meters above the ground and has overcome the challenge of variation of surrounding temperature of 80c (-40c to +40c) in Nur Sultan. It hosts different religions: Judaism, Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Daoism and other faiths; and expresses the spirit of Kazakhstan, where cultures, traditions and representatives of various nationalities coexist in peace, harmony and accord. It is not only a success of building technology but also a symbol of faith and human equality.

The place looks desserted, you have to try all the doors before someone take pity and let you in. You can only go in with a guide. The tour is pretty good, in English and Russian. Only 1500t in 2023. Guide is good. It is a place for all religious leaders to gather to reconcilate, whatever that means.

(Translated by Google) The appearance of the building is interesting like a pyramid, but be sure to enter the museum! Your guide will guide you in English for almost an hour, so you can get to know Kazakhstan in various ways. (Original) 建物の見た目もピラミッドのようで興味深いですが、ぜひ館内にも入ってみてください! ガイドさんが英語で1時間近く案内してくれて、カザフスタンを色々知れます。

Very unique and slightly bizarre landmark that is geometrically aligned to the presidential residence, the Baiterek tower and Khan Shatyr Mall. Fascinating from the outside as well as the inside. For an inside visit one must go with a tour, usually starting at every full hour, they do offer tours in English but only if there are enough people available. Also possible to book in advance to make sure you get the tor you want :) The over all architectural construction is futuristic and modern, no surprise here 😄 the exhibition is slightly bizarre, the whole concept is for sure worth a visit, but you may want to make up your own mind about the representation of religions here ;)

Had an enormous pleasure attending the Kulanshi Art Center which is located on the Täuelsizdik 57 Street. I'd like to dedicate this post to Dr. Leyla Mahat for the inspiration ☺🥰🤗. A small hint for the Art lovers, the building itself is in a shape of a Pyramide 🤩 it is beautiful not only during the day but at night as well. For those who likes bright colours -> you should definitely walk around Nur-Sultan after the sun goes down 🥰😉

Do not get lost like we did, the entrance of this museum is just in front of the palace of independence, we walked all the way around jajajja. This museum is also included in your city pass, and come with a guided tour. The problem is that the tour was really fast, she kind of just wanted to finish and with english not being her mother lenguaje it was really hard to understand her, even thought they have a lot of things to watch the tour guide move us quite fast. Over all is a really interesting building that they use for international peace meetings and forums.

Beautiful. The are many activities you can do here. You can take a morning jog around the park and then head to the mall for breakfast. Or, you can also just chill outside and eat some ice creams. This park is big, so wear appropriate walking shoes!
