I recently came to OPTX for an eye exam as a new client. A friend recommended OPTX and they didn’t disappoint! I saw Dr. Head and she gave me the most thorough eye exam I have ever had. I have to say the service is outstanding from the moment I walked in the door until the time I left. The selection of glasses/sunglasses is amazing! There is definitely something for everyone. I had a wonderful experience and I’m definitely a client for life.

Amazing experience all around. From the time I walked in Becky greeted me and helped me find the frames that were best suited for me. She was patient while I tried on all pairs and even made amazing recommendations for frames I would not have thought about. The staff and doctor were very attentive and knowledgeable. The eye exam was incredible, they have all the state of the art equipment. I needed glasses and the the General Manager Bobby Folgo assisted me and was awesome. He took the time to show me all the glasses that fit my style and that were in my price range. I recently went to Dr Diamante for my annual exam . The service is exceptional as always and the service at OPTX after my appointment was outstanding . I needed to purchase readers and new glasses and also ordered contact lenses. The staff took their time to help me find the best frames for my face and my budget, I cannot say enough good things. I would give it a zero except that's not an option! I had an appointment at 2:45pm today. Walked out of the office at 5:10 p.m. still not seeing the doctor. That's insulting!!!!

Twice now they’ve come through for me with my contacts orders when I’d made a mistake! Thanks to the tech who gave me a pair of lenses to get me through the work day and to the tech who opened the door for me right after they had closed on Friday to make sure I had my lenses before the weekend! Much appreciated 😃

600% markup on glasses you can buy online... I called ahead to ask for specific testing and they said they do it ,and when I arrived they said I was the 3rd person to ever ask...2 days out of work and $500 later im in the same situation....never mind what they charged my insurance...and don’t ask them to sign a tint exemption form from the state because they treat you like a criminal saying they would lose their license.... I have exteme sensitivities to lights at night that cause dizziness but apparently they would put their license on the line if they signed off.. And I never even got to talk to diamanté... Save your time and money and go elsewhere...

Dr. Diamante and his staff exceeded all my expectations when I went in for a simple eye exam. I felt comfortable, relaxed, informed, and heard when expressing my concerns for my eye. The staff was very nice when examining my eyes and made a diagnosis quickly after my primary doctor dismissed my concern saying it was nothing. Dr. Diamante thoroughly explained the treatment plan and finally resolved my iritis. I have never had a better experience at any doctor’s office and will definitely be returning and recommending this office to all my friends and family.

Very Disappointing. Bait and Switch, unprofessional, Poor Service! had to wait 3 months after initial visit for surgical consult (Way to long). After surgical consult me with BOB the Office Manger. He informed me that the local surgical center had closed and the new one was "out of network". Needed two surgical appointments at $1800 each. A caring, professional provider would have notified in advance of surgical center closing. OPTX is about money not patient care In response to your response their is no bullying or aggressive behavior. That is a woke comment to deflect blame. I was unsatisfied with service, scheduling and treatment. I have expressed my personal view. I located another provider with a good reputation and scheduling to meet my needs. If anything is inaccurate in what I said. Please explain!

Hands down the best! The doctors and the staff are absolutely amazing. They were engaging and did not make you feel uncomfortable one bit. I felt so welcomed there. The atmosphere, the setting, the service were superb. I most definitely recommend family, friends, and anyone to come to OPTX Rhode Island for all your vision needs. Love this place! Excellent selection of high-end frames with a very professional staff

I have been going to Dr. Diamante and buying my glasses at OPTX ever since I first needed glasses. That's over a decade now, in case you are wondering. I think the Dr. Diamante is fantastic and I really value his expertise and professionalism. The frame selection is excellent and service at OPTX is first class. I wanted something very fashionable, yet tasteful and Merlene was knowledgeable and fun to work with. Oooohhh...and I have to mention blueLOVE sunglasses...I have three pair which are exclusive to OPTX RI and I love every single pair of them. In the past, I pretty much only bought Gucci or Prada sunies...and not only are blueLOVE super fashionable, they are incredibly well made and have held up better than the other two brands mentioned above.

Optx RI was amazing. After having issues with my eye doctor and decided it was time to find a new one. The medical team is friendly and they are always very caring. The gallery was breath taking and I ended buying regular eye glasses and a great pair of prescription sunglasses. I did visit other stores in RI but nothing compares to the quality and experience that Optx offers.

I have worn eye glasses since kindergarten. Without question, OPTX RI has provided me and my Family with the most exceptional experience we have ever had for our eyeglass needs. There is never a long wait and every optician exudes courtesy, professionalism, and knowledge of their field. The vast selection of eyeglass frames ranges from basic/conservative up to styles that one would normally see in a high fashion magazine. Extremely satisfied with OPTX! Dr. Diamante is a top notch, exceptionally brilliant eye doctor; as much as he is patient, kind and genuine. He goes above and beyond with his care for the individual, never making my family or me feel like "just another patient". I was so surprised that he, personally, had contacted me with the results from my MRI (which was ordered from my endocrinologist) and explained how the pituitary can affect my vision (which I had no idea)!! I highly recommend scheduling an appt with him and his team!

I visited the store in Johnston today to see if my prescription sunglasses could be adjusted. They were uncomfortable and out of alignment. The girl could not have been nicer.She agreed they needed help. She took them, and I waited as she did her magic. She returned with my glasses that looked new, and the fit was great. I was very grateful. The people at this store are always pleasant, professional and willing to help.

Becky greeted me with a warm smile, putting me at ease.She was a good listener, being attentive to my concerns about finding a small frame to fit my face. OPTX had many frames on display! She gave me time to try them and think. Photos taken with my phone gave me a chance to see how each looked. I did not feel rushed. Finally, I chose two frames, clear and sunglasses using high quality lenses by Varilux. I would highly recommend the services provided by Becky and the OPTX optical store.

I have been going to OPTX for years no issues. My mom picked up my contacts and glasses, I didn’t have time to do so. I noticed they gave me two boxes of contacts, each with different prescriptions. On top of that I get sent an text message that my glasses and contacts are ready but they tried to tell my mom that they didn’t have my glasses. My mom waited almost an hour until they found my glasses. How do you screw up this bad?

Saw Dominique for my eye exam. I explained to her I am hearing impaired and had no hearing aids that day and would have to read her lips. She was experienced with the hearing impaired and knew some basic sign gestures and exactly how to communicate to make things go smoothly for me. Thanks Dominique we need more people like you! Also all the opticians are great there and their inventory of eyeware is unsurpassed.

I go here when I need new lenses for my eyeglasses. They do a very good job and you get them quickly. They do have a large selection.

My husband and I received excellent customer care ! Every customer is treated like a VIP. The entire staff is friendly, efficient, and professional. Their eye exams are more thorough than any we’ve experienced. The quality eyewear is, definitely, five star.

I always have difficulty selecting glasses that I feel confident will fit my face and my style. The optician was EXCELLENT and dedicated the time to pick the frames that were right for me. I appreciate all of the help! It’s nice to not feel like just another number coming through the door but to feel valued and respected.

My Silouette frames broke. My optician has retired. He was a great professional person with great service. I needed to find a new optician to repair my frames on same day. After two local shops could not repair same day, I called OPTX. Alison was professional, and was able to repair my Silouette Frames. Thank you so much! Will get my prescriptions at OPTX from now on.

So 2 years later if continue to follow up.. The main reason I started giving reviews on Google was because OPTX was son good to me. Long story short.. I had a eye injury. Ri eye institute couldnt take me and I had a terrible experience.. needing medical help I googled and found that ri. Eye had the worst reviews I'd ever seen so in turn I added to that .. which is almost my only bad review.. OPTX got me in within an hour. Checked my eye for debris ...thankfully nothing.. gave me medication for the infection .. and I was done.. Night and day experience.. I was also impressed with the facility.. beautiful. If I were glasses I'd go here to feel important... I'm sure they will treat u the same..

Office staff are courteous and professional. Dr Head is great with the kiddos. BECKY IS AMAZING, she went above and beyond to get my kiddo her glasses in 24hrs after a dodgeball accident. She took the time on her lunch to get them so we could pick them up after school. There are not enough stars to rate the customer service level, especially Becky and Dr Head!!!!

The experience at Optx starts as soon as you walk through the doors- it is beautiful, well merchandise and looks high end. Everyone from the receptionists to the salespeople to the doctors are professional , kind and understanding. Dr. Diamante has performed two cataract surgeries on me that went perfectly smooth. I booked an appointment a few months ago for today and when I showed up with two kids in tow they told me I didn't have an appointment. They said that there were a few days in late August that all their appointments got erased. I understand that accidents happen but it would have been nice if they had at least sent out an email blast to let people know that they could have potentially been impacted and to call if they had questions about their appointments.

OPTIX staff and product lines are amazing. The customer service is outstanding from start to finish. They stock something for everyone. I would recommend to all my family and friends with confidence.
