This extinct volcano is in Haryana near the Rajasthan border. There are two side from which you can climb up the hill. I would suggest that you go from Thana village side as that has shelter and water facility in between the stairs at short intervals. Also that is the shorter distance. The best season to go to Dhosi is post monsoon or Winters as in summers the region is too hot. It is most beautiful in September as there is greenery all around and blue sky with cotton clouds in the sky. Make sure you have water bottles, caps and shades on to avoid excess heat. When you reach the top you'll find the very beautiful centre of the extinct volcano where there are temples, ponds and beautiful cows. It's a very beautiful place to visit. Just for safety, make sure you don't go to the place alone if you're not familiar with the region. Try going with your friends or some guide.

Beautiful place 😍 the view is amazing 👏 ilove it .. There is two entries gate in different directions The stairs are made of stones, please climb carefully. There is some temple on top of the mountain. There is also a well above. There is also a small shop upstairs where water bottles can be found and some food items are somewhat expensive. Please take some things to eat and drink from below. And don't litter. The whole view from the top of the mountain is very beautiful. If you are close to this place then please do visit.

Opinion:-This place is a gem for people who want to enjoy peace and nature. Beautiful place to visit. You can do trekking, take Darshan in temples, do picnic, enjoy hill view, spend time with your self ..... Overall a must place to visit. Request:- Don't spoil this place, don't throw garbage here and there, don't disrespect the gods and temples. Lastly please don't do any shameful acts.

This hill is around 750 meter from sea level and is an extinct volcano. There are only single digit number volcanos in India. Here last eruption was around 750 million years ago.Wonderful place to hangout with friends and family. You can go there anytime of year, but this place looks spectcular during monsoon season.Early morning hiking is recommended so you can witness a beautiful sunrise. There is no shop on hill so better take eatables before hiking.

Dhosi Hill is an important Vedic period site, an extinct volcano, standing alone at the north-west end of the Aravalli mountain range. Its height varies from about 345 to 470 meters from the surrounding lands and 740 meters from the sea level. The highest elevated area of the Aravalli hills in Haryana is Dhosi Hills. Dhosi Hill is located on the border of Haryana and Rajasthan. The mountain of Dhosi is a sacred and religious place. Since the time of Mahabharata, it has been shared by you once come and enjoy this holy place.

You wont be able to recognise it until you notice the patches on the rocks.its an experience in itself to see such historic things...there are couple of temples but the hike to reach can be tiring about 30-45 minutes climb...its very isolated though.

The temple is also home to a number of other shrines dedicated to other Hindu deities. Shiv Mandir is a peaceful and tranquil place, and is a great place to visit to learn about Hindu culture and religion. The temple is also a great place to come to pray and to seek spiritual guidance.

One of the best places to visit in the Southern Haryana. Wonderful view from the top of the hill. In the middle of the hill there is a idol of Lord Hanuman ji and some other temples. When you reach almost at the top, you have to go downward approx. 200 mtr if you want to take a bath into the well(kund). Somvati Amavasya is the best occasion to visit this place. You can enjoy such a stupendous visit.

Dhosi ki pahadi, nice place to visit. This is the place where an Indian Yogi discovered the herb chavanprash. Proud to visit this place. Nice environment, great view, peaceful area. Here you can see the part of the hill displaced by Bhim during the time of dwaper yuga. This is the top view of dhosi ki pahadi.

Beautiful place untouched by polluting humans as very few climb up the mountain. A well to experience pulley system of drawing water....a temple and a pond on top. The baba residing there offered us tea and chhach... very refreshing.

This is the best place for a day outing near Delhi. Neemrana is nothing compared to this. But, since the place is not very popular, you have to carry water and snacks. The wall from the base of the hill to the top is very exhausting. But it is worth it.

We can visit here with family, one and half hours climbing, adventure hills. Chavvan Rishi Tapobhumi. You must have your own arrangements of drinking water before upstairs bcoz there is no water or eatable facilities at middle or top. Best time is early morning.

Hill is so High. Feel ligh a hill station. Good place ,at least you should visit at once. But the problem is that you won't get facilities of food water etc. Get your lunch packed and bottles of water as you're going to exhaust too much because slope is too High.
