Best place to reflect during Lent on the mysteries of the passion and death of Jesus Christ, and to witness the annual procession of more than a hundred images of saints on Holy Wednesday and Good Friday.

The Saint Augustine Parish Church of Baliuag, commonly known as Baliuag Church, is a Roman Catholic church located in Plaza Naning at the poblacion of Baliuag, in Bulacan province, Philippines. The Good Friday procession of the church is one of the largest in the country with more than 100 religious floats of sceneries showing the stories from the book of the evangelists from the new Testament and Lenten scenes paraded. The parish was established by the Augustinians in 1733 under the patronage of Saint Augustine of Hippo.

We had our traditional Visita Iglesia for 2019 in Bulacan and this was our 5th Church. We had a personal audience with Monsignor Andres Valera who showed us the museum and became our personal curator. Beautiful church. The museum is a must see.

Very classical and historic church in the philippines. I like the vibe and ages of stone that made of church. Its really amazing church because of carved religious symbol and mural painting of the ceiling and walls are amazing.

A Nice and solemn church very clean, theres a lot of people but you won't feel hot or suffocated because the place is well ventilated, the altar is great and the outside of the church is safe and clean. The only thing I can criticize is when you have a car and you came in a little late you cant find a parking space nearby. But all in all it was a good church experience

I consider the early morning hours as the best time to go and visit this historic church. The very peaceful surrounding is best to hear the early mass, meditate and pray. It's a great place for solemn prayer.

Located in Plaza Naning at the heart of Baliwag town proper. It is commonly known as the Baliwag Church. A picturesque Baroque style of architecture which will transport you to the towns historic past. Aside from it's astonishing interior, It is popular because of the massive tower, a wide parking area with the statue of the Blessed Mary or the Alter of the Immaculate Concepcion at the center, and the huge relief of Moses at the lower portion. The Parish convent refectory and Galeria San Agustin - the church souvenir shop are among the added attractions. At the side of the church is an adjacent building with the same architechtural style that houses the infamous St. Augustine Charity clinic, where town folks and even those who just visited tje town are welcomed to have their free medical consultations (they also provide free medicines and vitamins). Across is the glorietta which serves as a mini park for those who wants to relax and also serves as a mini plaza for cultural and especial events. After attending the mass or simply visiting the church during weekdays, the mini food bazzar at the side is a haven for those who are craving for a budget friendly "tusok - tusok" or the local delicacies such as the bibingka and salabat. You can choose to cross both side of the street for the lines of fast food chaims and milk tea shops if you want a more.comfortable dining experience.

One of my most favorite church in Luzon. Not so big but you'll be fascinated by the history of this church and the old ten commandments stone with moses which became its own distinct feature.

Big and historic church. Had chances to attend mass here before. When it get's hot during summer they provide mist dispensers in the electric fans to help counter the heat.

Improved a lot over the years:sound system, lights, live feed, lcd monitors etc. Parking space is still a bit problematic especially that tricycles are all over the place and no covered parking area either. Security is also a bit of an issue. Some streetchildren and beggars are also roaming even within the church premises and sometimes disturb churchgoers. But overall it is still a nice place with kind members of the church.
