I've been here in 2017. This was the first mountain I hiked! It looked highly deforested but I appreciate it when we were required by our tour guide to plant trees on the designated areas. I am not sure if there are some new features in the place now but when we went here and traversed its entire distance, we had difficulty hiking down the steep part of the mountain going to the Angel Falls. What we did was we held on to the cogon grass as if they were some kind of rope. πŸ˜‚ Fun times. Fun times. Once you traverse the mountain, be sure to take a dip at Angel Falls! You will love it!

Good for beginners. As for most of the mountains, it is better to start the trek early morning because of the heat of the sun. We weren’t really fascinated by the view above for there was no clearing, it was full of fog. Anyway, I just tried to enjoy whatever was up there, especially the cold fresh air.

2nd time hiking this mountain. The 1st time is way back 2018 and it's still new to the public. A lot of improvement on the site but a lot of hard headed people leaving there trash on the trails. Please be considerate, we are just guest on that mountain. The food is great! Accommodating people and guides. Be careful on going down the mountain, very steep and you can slide down if you don't look at what you're stepping on. The falls is really pretty but can be dangerous. The water is cold and refreshing for our tired bodies. The travel time going there is 5-7 hours depending on the traffic and your driver. We had a hard time leaving because of the traffic. Enjoy and take a lot of pictures but don't take too much. πŸ˜πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œβ€

Minor hike and good for beginner. Descent is a little bit challenging but totally worth it! What I love to this place is there’s so many swings and picture taking spots. :) A must see Cholate Hills from the North. ❀️ If you want a memorable hike and a good photographer, book at TakeFive Outdoors.

We went there in November 2017. The weather was great! The view from the top was amazing. You can see several kilometers away. Took us a few hours down to Aloha Falls because we were with beginner climbers. The descent was more difficult than the ascent, but the overall experience was amazing. Not for the non-physically fit though. The ride from the river back to the jump-off point was also very exciting! :) My kids enjoyed every minute of it. Kudos to the staff for taking care of the environment.

Was there last Feb 2019. Amazing summit view. Traverse more difficult than backtrail. Going down more risky due to steep slope. Upon reaching Aloha falls removes your tiredness.

Overall I think this would be a nice first mountain for a daring beginner. The challenges of managing temp and water is crucial for this mountain as well as technicals. There are rope portions where it might be difficult and slippery for people who don't know how to properly traverse slopes with a fixed rope. I think the views are still well worth it for both beginners and veterans alike to try this mountain. There was a bit of traffic but not too horrible and the falls were also notable

I love this mountain because you contribute to the nature by planting trees. I hope my tree will grow once I go back there. 😊

It was fun to climb to this mountain not that hard but if you traverse going down it's a difficult task and rappel down for hours to slippery ,muddy trail especially in rainy season. guides will advise to back trail if the participants are newbies and will have a difficult, and dangerous going down . The view is spectacular from the summit

We had an overnight camping at the lover's tree campsite of Mt. 387. The weather is nice when we went there. The trail to the summit is quite easy, which makes Mt. 387 really perfect for beginners. It is mostly covered with trees, particularly at the start, but the latter part of the trail is a grassland. I loved the spectacular view at the summit, specially during the sunset. There's a limited water source at the summit, mainly collected from the rain, so it would be better to bring enough drinking water with you. We did a traverse instead of doing backtrail. The way down the falls is really steep, but there are ropes which can be used to help you descend safely. From the Aloha Falls, there are multiple river crossing along the trail to the pickup point for the monster truck ride, which took us back to the jump-off.

A hiked with my sister and cousins in our province It's Called Mt. 387( Batong Amat). Their first hiked and they enjoyed it so much! Especially at the top and when we heading down to traverse.

This place is a good place to go for an extra adventure, you can bring your friend here even if they don't have an experience of climb. You can also enjoy their tree planning as a tradition for every visitor.
