A Catholic Church located in Angeles City, Pampanga which was founded in 1877, it is recognized as a historical site by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. It is dedicated to the most Holy Virgin of the Rosary thus the name Santo Rosario Church/ Holy Rosary Parish.

Went there for the baptism of my child. The church is nice and currently under renovation. But the problem is the Priest who has bad attitude. First time to meet a priest like that. For me, this is not the best choice of church. Just look for other church nearby.

⛪🕍🛐 The cathedral of Angeles. It's located in Downtown Angeles (20 mins car from SinCity-WalkingStreet). At present (Nov2020) some works are impacting the facade and the internal right wing. It's old Spanish church, nothing of special. Pietá statue inside on the right wing. From outside you can do a nice pic with the "Angeles" sign. Very crowded during messa. 🇵🇭

I wasn't able to check the inside of the church, but it's situated in a very nice intersection with old structures around the area.

Must visit when you already visited the museum across. Historic church as one of the oldest structures in town. Pisamban Maragul is comparable to old churches in the country in terms of size and age.

It’s a typical type of church for the Philippines, unfortunately not in a good shape. It is situated in the heart of the city. Presently (2023-2024) it is under construction but still functioning. I can’t elaborate much about its architecture and aesthetics, but this is not the main point for a place where people go to show their gratitude to God. I hope it will be nicely renovated and last for many years, so to serve the believers.

I have visited this beautiful church at least a thousand times in my lifetime and never once has it grown old nor lost its splendor in my eyes. It is an enormous religious structure that easily towers over most churches in Central Luzon, in fact I think it is the biggest in the region. The inside is very spacious and simple but its beauty is in its simplicty, and I hope they preserve that facet once they're done with the repairs since the church was damaged during an earthquake some years ago.

I love their Adoration Chapel, so peaceful, serenely quiet and quite spacious. You can really immerse in your adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in peace. The only thing that kept me from visiting daily is it's quite a distance away from where I live. The renovations of the church interiors are still ongoing as well.

  • 2/5 Mark Araki G. 1 year ago on Google
Completely under construction at this time so the beauty of the church is lost inside. A beautiful architecture from outside but not worth traveling to visit the colonial architecture and Catholic art.

  • 5/5 Franchesca A. 3 years ago on Google
The church is still under construction so you cannot enter. The Blessed Sacrament, however, is open to people. Although there were only few people during our visit.

You need to pay P10 to park within the church's premises. The building is currently under repair. You can still pray inside, though.

A traditional church built using masonry, with a large seating capacity and nice interiors. We went there on a Saturday evening, and the place wasn't too crowded. The language used in the mass was in Kapampangan, and we weren't aware. Parking wise, its limited and we weren't able to secure a slot (we went to a mall nearby and just walked to the church). If going to the church via commute, the church is easily accessible via jeepneys as well.

Poor treatment given by the staffs, specially the woman assigned in the office one who is approving the Baptism schedule. During the baptism of my son, the priest assigned has pretty bad attitude and the mass was too quick from the usual one we had with ny first son. Thinking that we paid extra for the place, the mass would be solemn but ended not so good.

A am so amazed by this Church. Outside it is like a castle, the flooring the scenery, the church itself. But remember, before taking pictures pray. 😊

The parish church was declared an Important Cultural Property (ICP) by the national government. It was heavily damaged by the 2019 earthquake and is currently (as of 2022) undergoing repairs and other conservation work. Although it can already be used safely, work is expected to proceed for a few more years.

Beautiful holy place of worship. Though it's not air conditioned you won't feel humid because of its high ceiling and big windows. Atm, the interior is still under renovation.

Located at the heart of Angeles City. Schedule of mass celebrations are announced and may change due to religious celebrations or occasions. Gets really crowded during Sunday masses. Parking is limited. It is recommended not to park within the church's parking area as it is difficult to maneuver but you may choose to do so when there are enough spaces. Best to park outside the church premises within Sto Entierro street. Choirs add to the solemnity of the celebration. Good acoustics. Responses are flashed on the screens provided so churchgoers can participate. Iconic church and a must-visit when in Angeles City.

On February 21,1986 I had a beautiful wedding held at The Holy Rosary Parish Church The scenery was perfect because I felt so blessed to have a very special event of a life time at Pisamban Maragul! For me and my respective family members and guests felt like a grand event at that moment although it was a very simple wedding. I relocated to The US

👍👍 Beautiful and calming place to be. As of now, you can only enter the church during a mass and you must get a ticket number from the guard outside. Very nice place to visit. Especially nice when its dark. Edit: Much more open now during alert level 1. Edit 2: Now back to normal.
