Never knew this place existed and I've driven past it many, many times. I love that it's dog friendly because if my Cricket is happy, then all is well in my mind. (See pics)

Beautiful lake and nature trail! Trail is pathed, which was great since it had rained the morning we visited. Trail is about a mile long and goes in a circle. Great place for walking or running.

I've lived in this area for several years, and never knew such a beautiful park was back behind the picnic area you see from Flowood Drive. That's very nice, too, but the trail area is absolutely gorgeous! The trails are very handicap-accessible, too. I took my scooter. There are benches, water stations, and doggie cleanup bags. There's a bridge, a pond with a huge fountain, and beautiful natural and landscaped areas. We went after work, and there were quite a few runners, walkers, and dog walkers. Everyone was very considerate of me being on the scooter. It means so much to be able to go out in an area like that, and enjoy friends and nature.

This park has a very nice nature walk! Has several benches along with multiple roofed picnic tables if you wanted to bring your family to eat or just come with a bite yourself, also has a place to grill! Really is a great park in a good location. I am thankful for all the companies sponsoring this location. Would recommend visiting!

Lovely park with pavilions, benches scattered throughout, a pond filled with geese and painted turtles. The one mile walking trail meanders between grassland and forest. Dog-friendly, plenty of room for children to run, a hidden gem in Flowood.

A nice place to get out and walk, enjoy the trees, and get away from the world.

I sure have enjoyed running and walking at the Nature Park. The lap is 1 mile all the way around. It is a great place to come and see nature. Clean restrooms and picnic areas. Plenty of shade and views to see. Good place to bring a homeschooler too with information signs on trees and trail. It is dog friendly as well. There is no playground but plenty of wide open spaces for kids to burn energy. They have turtles and fish to feed too with a great trail that is paved to follow. Lots of pretty flowers and trees.

Visiting Flowood Nature Park was a blast for me and my kids. We had a lot of fun watching the animals do their thing, like playing, eating, and sleeping. Flowood Nature Park had a lot of variety and diversity, with animals from different continents and climates. Flowood Nature Park also had a petting farm where we could touch and feed some domesticated animals. Flowood Nature Park was a rewarding and enjoyable experience that we had.

This place is a great outdoor place to walk dogs or to bring kids. I have taken my dog here many times and he loves it. I led a mission trip of some high schoolers from texas and I brought them here for lunch and they loved it. Everyone was impressed with it and commented that it was maintained very well. Everything was very clean and the bags for cleaning up after dogs are always well stocked.
