Honestly, the hotel was even better than I expected. It’s huge and very clean, the pool area is very nice, the room is super comfortable (the pillows are a dream!) and the restaurant had very tasty veggie options. But the 5-star honestly goes to the staff. Everyone we’ve interacted with was lush, there were greetings all around, and they went above and beyond being helpful. I just wish I were spending more time here.

This place should only be marketed for children and definitely not for two adults travelling independently. Maybe this was my error. The hotel rooms are lovely staff, however staff really need some professional development. Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive considering we were the only people in the restaurant and we did have to ask on three occasions where they were. The staff were very friendly lacked the communication skills to effectively understand and be understood. Staff are very interested in talking to their friends or being on the phone but know little about customer service. The staff looking after the pool area need to monitor the deck chairs that are not being used, but have a towel placed on them. When people walk away from the deckchairs or pool lounges, the towels need to be removed so if you comes available for other people who are waiting to use them. Families leaving equipment on chairs while they go and have a three hour sleep in the afternoon is totally unacceptable. I would expect more for the price that you are paying at this hotel. The breakfast options, whilst expanse were very cold, unless you actually had your food cooked to order. I became a little excited when afresh serving of hashbrowns arrived, thinking they were going to be warm and toasty. They were cold and disappointing. The orange juice machine was broken, the gentleman text me said it had been broken for two weeks. I think it’s more for display and they just use cotton orange juice. This hotel was a little underwhelming.

We had a great stay! The pool is amazing the staff are lovely, the buffet breakfast is absolutely fantastic. A few times we were too tired to go down to eat in the restaurant the staff bought us up a tray of food. Chocolate hour was a hit with my 12 year old. I absolutely loved my massage included in our package we bought through Luxury Escapes. Our pool view was limited from our room, and some fittings such is door handle and taps where hard to open. This is a great hotel for families or those looking for a quieter stay. The beach shuttle is very handy, cheap coconuts on the way to the beach from road side sellers. Highly recommend this stay for families and those who prefer relax and unwind.

Pretty decent resort but has a lot of room for improvement. First of all the room is too small for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast is only for 1 person in the room, that never happened before in any other hotel. The kids club gets 5 stars from desing but its limited time to play there for 1 hour per day for free. Water in the bath tub barely got warm. Otherwise a nice hotel.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Clean and spacious room, the pool is very appreciated by my child. The location is a short walk to the beach, and has many restaurants nearby. The whole process for checking in and out is very smooth, many thanks to the staffs who are very helpful and kind during our stay. The only downside is we stayed only for 2 nights, but we're already planning to come back!

A wonderful family friendly hotel ❤️ We had the most memorable 10 nights here with our baby and toddler. The staff were all so friendly and warm, especially Afka and Heny who always went the extra mile to look after us, they helped us with anything we needed for our baby and really made our time there feel extra special. The pool was great with the water slides and sandy area too. Toddler loved chocolate hour and the kids club! All staff were brilliant. Thank you for making our time so memorable, we would definitely return and can’t wait to come back 🥰🙏🏽

Amazing in every way! Can’t recommended this hotel more. The junior suites are well proportioned and luxurious. The pool is brilliant and there are plenty of sun lounges. Great for families but if, like us, you don’t have kids, there are plenty of places to escape their noise! Love this hotel and we will be back!

This resort has been great for our family. We got the luxury escapes package which included lunch or dinner, two daily cocktails and a bucket (4) of beer every day. Possibly thanks to it being very quiet still, the restaurant staff would bring us dinner from the restaurant to our room (different to the room service menu). All of the staff have been very kind, helpful and accommodating. Would absolutely recommend this to my friends and family and would also return in a moments notice.

We have mixed reviews for Movenpick Bali. While we had a good stay overall, we wouldn’t stay again. The breakfast was great, but lunches and dinners were not good. They were bland and did not taste like traditional Balinese food. My husband and I both got food poisoning from the Seafood BBQ. When we booked we were told that children under 11 stay free, but when we got to the hotel we were told that our son was expected to sleep in our King bed and if we wanted an extra single bed it would be an extra $25 Australian per day. We also found that the hotel was always looking for extra ways to make money, even after paying expensive rates for the hotel. If you want to use a cabana for the day, you have to pay an extra $20 Australian per day. You also get approached several times a day to purchase a photography package or to get a massage. We were at the hotel to relax, not be constantly approached. The rooms are small for what you pay. It is also about 300 metres from the beach, we were ok to walk but if you want a buggy, there is only 1 buggy an hour. Despite this though, we still enjoyed our stay and there were positives. The pool area is great, it’s very relaxed, comfortable and great for kids, with 2 mini water parks for them. The kids club was also great, our son had a ball, the staff were great with the kids and it was like a proper playground in there. The gym was clean and had high quality equipment. The staff that you dealt with on a daily basis were really friendly and helpful. Overall it was a good stay but other hotels are better value for money.

Had a great stay at Movenpick. The rooms are fantastic, there is a separate bathtub and shower area. The breakfast selection is expansive, there really is a lot of food served for breakfast. The room service menu we called for was also quite delicious. It is conveniently located next to a number of restaurants. The pool is big and the courtyard is nice.

We went to the hotel from 9 to 12 Dec, my daughter absolutely love the hotel and really wish to go back once again in the future. Every single staff member was so welcoming and friendly, you can tell they’re so happy to work there from their passion. At the moment we stepped into the lobby, 3 different staff came to us to introduce us they were having ‘chocolate hour’ and some Christmas lighting party at 7PM for all of us to enjoy; we have been to a lot of great hotels around the world, this might not be the most luxurious place, but definitely the best amount them.

We only stayed one night as we had an extra day on our holiday and wanted to try mövenpick for the first time. The location was very nice and convenient with samasta next door. The car parking area was also covered, making it convenient even if it rains. The hotel room was good, bed was huge and bathroom was decent as well. Unfortunately there isn't any bubble bath liquid for the bathtub. One of the cleaning guys told us that we'd have to order it for an extra charge unless we're staying in suite rooms. Lots of reviews rave about the kids. While it was nice and spacious, it might be time to update the toys as many are somewhat broken. Things like the toy kitchen set and cars etc. Turns out it wasn't really completely included as well as we only got 1 hour free access, with additional charges after that. Breakfast was nice. The croissant was very good, the coffee as well. Pool and outdoor areas were great and lots of fun. Overall a decent hotel and we think we'll be back.

Great hotel. From day one to day 7, the staff were friendly, helpful and always polite and accommodating. Room and bed were comfortable and serviced daily with a smile. Pool and facilities were inviting and fun for the family. Breakfast buffet was fulsome and service well organised. The amenity is vibrant, but relaxed offering feeling of calm no matter what time of the day or night. Hotel is a short drive from the international airport and a stone's throw from the beach with a perfect view to catch an ocean sunset. Kids club was great and serviced by friendly staff. A great hotel for families. Our only disappointment was the balcony from our room that faced out over the delivery bay and kitchen exhaust, which meant sitting on the balcony was a little on the nose. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The prime location in Jimbaran, Bali, with various nearby shops, made it incredibly convenient. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The range of amenities available, especially for families, was outstanding. There was no shortage of activities for both kids and adults. The expansive pool area, complete with comfortable cabanas and cottages, offered a relaxing retreat. The beanbag floaters perfectly complemented the serene atmosphere of Jimbaran, adding an extra touch of comfort and style. Additionally, there are spots within the pool area and in the pool itself where there’s sand, giving a unique beach-like ambiance. However, the true highlight was the room itself. The space was just perfect, featuring a thoughtful layout and a remarkably spacious bathroom with a luxurious built-in closet. The inclusion of a bath tub and a separate shower area added to the overall comfort and indulgence of our stay. The food was extraordinary, and it was relatively inexpensive. The hotel staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, making it feel like a home away from home. With such a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, it was almost tempting to stay indoors and enjoy the hotel's offerings rather than explore the surroundings. Overall, this hotel is a haven for travelers seeking convenience, comfort, extraordinary food, exceptional service, and the serene essence of Jimbaran, Bali. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable stay.

We have been several times and always like it. Everyone is very friendly and the resort is very nice. One thing we have always found very strange is that the hotel MUST close and clean the pool at 6pm sharp. The days in Bali are very short and 6pm will shorten it even more. There is absolutely no reason why they can't put the chlorine in the pool at 8pm or even later! It would be nice to jump in the pool after the beach sunset session which I do in most hotels but yours unfortunately. Otherwise great place!

We enjoyed our stay, we went during a low season so it was not too crowded luckily. Although the hotel went through some small renovation so you will be hearing the workers nearby the pool. Another thing, the check in took some time, so it would be great if this can be speed up. Overall, the rooms were clean/spacious. The bed was comfy. Sometimes the toilet water bidet can me made more clean. The personnel were friendly, talked to everyone and always had a smile. The location was good, approx. 10min walk to the beach/ seafood restaurant where you can eat at the beach. Next to the hotel there is a number of small shops (souvenirs/ Krisna) and eateries. Conclusion: good experience.

One of the worst 5 star hotels in Bali 1. Check in process: so far so good, we needed to wait around 1 hour. 2. Safety: a lot of pins in my requested baby crib. My baby fell off because the crib was broken. 3. Service: friendly but below average. The staff rejected our request to take our food delivery from gojek to our room for safety reasons (seems the hotel has safety priority, but with the no.2 accident, I think the staff is just too lazy to take our food) 4. Location: great, with no traffic from and to the hotel. Easy access to Jimbaran beach.

Our flight was cancelled so we had an extra night in Bali. I wanted comfort in an interesting area - but not too far from the Airport and the Movenpick was just right. Staff very friendly. Rooms comfortable and clean. Lovely pool

Absolutely stunning resort with very friendly staff. In an easy location to walk to Jimbaran beach in a few minutes. The rooms are great with massive beds and very quiet. The gardens and artwork around the resort make it very easy to relax into your holiday. Angga at the pool bar was an excellent bartender. So friendly and always made sure we had a cold drink. Thank you for making our stay even better.

So this hotel turned out to be one of the best we've ever stayed in. The atmosphere within the hotel was great. The smells in the reception area were so good. The pool was amazing although the cocktails and beer were over priced. Easy access to Jimbaran beach via the back entrance of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel 100%.

Excellent. This was one of my best stays in Bali so far. The property was beautiful even from the very first step you came into the hotel. All the staffs were wonderful and helpful. You could get a simple chocolate refreshment in the evening. The pool was huge and suitable for children to play around. I stayed in their junior suite, and it was amazing, not that spacious, but for sure it was great.
