We
have
mixed
reviews
for
Movenpick
Bali.
While
we
had
a
good
stay
overall,
we
wouldn’t
stay
again.
The
breakfast
was
great,
but
lunches
and
dinners
were
not
good.
They
were
bland
and
did
not
taste
like
traditional
Balinese
food.
My
husband
and
I
both
got
food
poisoning
from
the
Seafood
BBQ.
When
we
booked
we
were
told
that
children
under
11
stay
free,
but
when
we
got
to
the
hotel
we
were
told
that
our
son
was
expected
to
sleep
in
our
King
bed
and
if
we
wanted
an
extra
single
bed
it
would
be
an
extra
$25
Australian
per
day.
We
also
found
that
the
hotel
was
always
looking
for
extra
ways
to
make
money,
even
after
paying
expensive
rates
for
the
hotel.
If
you
want
to
use
a
cabana
for
the
day,
you
have
to
pay
an
extra
$20
Australian
per
day.
You
also
get
approached
several
times
a
day
to
purchase
a
photography
package
or
to
get
a
massage.
We
were
at
the
hotel
to
relax,
not
be
constantly
approached.
The
rooms
are
small
for
what
you
pay.
It
is
also
about
300
metres
from
the
beach,
we
were
ok
to
walk
but
if
you
want
a
buggy,
there
is
only
1
buggy
an
hour.
Despite
this
though,
we
still
enjoyed
our
stay
and
there
were
positives.
The
pool
area
is
great,
it’s
very
relaxed,
comfortable
and
great
for
kids,
with
2
mini
water
parks
for
them.
The
kids
club
was
also
great,
our
son
had
a
ball,
the
staff
were
great
with
the
kids
and
it
was
like
a
proper
playground
in
there.
The
gym
was
clean
and
had
high
quality
equipment.
The
staff
that
you
dealt
with
on
a
daily
basis
were
really
friendly
and
helpful.
Overall
it
was
a
good
stay
but
other
hotels
are
better
value
for
money.
