We weren’t sure as yet if we should give Genji a try as it had few reviews having just opened in August on the resort grounds, but we thought why not and we’re so so glad we did. The atmosphere is calm and serene with a feeling of being transported to Japan. You can choose from the set menu, hibachi style, or the a la carte with foods like udon, teriyaki, sushi and sashimi and the like. We opted for one set menu and one teriyaki sirloin and it was absolutely mouth-watering. The set menu comes with plenty of food! An appetizer, tempura, salad, miso soup, fried rice, sirloin, vegetables, pickled vegetables and ice cream dessert. All were great and it was fun watching the chef prepare the meal at the table. The staff were so kind and attentive. We never lacked for anything the entire time we were there including cheerful banter and more than a few smiles. We would definitely come back again especially to try the tempura ice cream! 😋

We celebrated our anniversary with my hubby here and were wowed and absolutely pleased with the taste of food and service quality.

There is a reason why they have such good reviews on google/tripadvisor Great food, Fantastic service, good ambience. Staff is excellent.. Food is very good, we opted for teppanyaki and got 3 different sets. Portion sizes aren’t massive but decent. Not much theatre for teppanyaki but good experience overall. Worth a visit even if staying in/around Nusa Dua.

The Ayodya's best kept secret, we have been here for 4 days and only just found this amazing Japanese style Restaurant at the Ayodya Resort. The food is out standing, the service is second to none! teriyaki grill, food is super fresh and cooked while you watch. 😋. Very filling. The cocktail 🍸 was so good! 🔥 Don't forget to eat here, you will be very happy! Vicky and Brett x

Nice place, we came for Japanese although we were not staying in the hotel. Staff was very welcoming. Although need to say they do not serve sushi (yet!)

We eat teppanyaki during our stay at Ayodya Hotel. At first we dont have any expectation about the taste, turns out the dinner was really good. We love the set menu with sashimi that really fresh.

It’s a great place for family dinner. We love the freshness of their seafood and beef. The service is also great, they are very helpful and patient to serve us.
