We stayed at Dede cottage for about 4-5 nights. At first sight the place is tidy and well kept. The garden is beautiful and it’s pretty quiet. The staff is kind and always wants to help out. Breakfast in nothing special unfortunately and is always cold and chewy when arrived even if that claim they just cooked it.. The room is fine, nothing special. Very good bed and hot shower. Although sink was not working well. Toilet is really disgusting and needs to be updated. The tv was placed in a strange place and was very inconvenient to watch. We wanted to extend our visit 2 nights and we felt really bad treated at this point and it even felt like a scam. We asked staff 1 for extension and price. He says 225 IDR for 1 night even though we paid 180 through agoda. So we asked him if he could talk to the manager about price. He says that he will come back tomorrow and it is 2-3 rooms available for that period. Next day another staff was working, we asked him about this and if the other staff had talked to manager yet. He said we should wait one more day, but price is now 250/night. Next day (the day before we need to extend or checkout) we ask again. This staff now says the price is 300 and nobody has yet asked the manager. And it’s now 300 because only 1 room left.. even though it was 3 left when we asked… He calls manager and manager says 350/night!!!!! I get pretty angry at this point and explains the situation, they don’t care and don’t care about their guest. So the price has gone from 225 to 250 to 300 to 350. We decided to check out after feeling scammed and used by the staff. We have stayed on ALOT of hotels and never been used liked this. An overall okay stay now is ruined and our memory of dede cottage, will forever be the last part of my review. Too bad. It has good potential otherwise.

The place is nice and comfortable, but unfortunately the service is not good because the gentlemen are a bit rude. To get to this location, it is recommended to use a motorbike because the road is quite narrow. The room is homely and has a large refrigerator and sink. The view of the rice fields is nice but the parking is inadequate. The price is relatively expensive for the rooms and services provided.

Actually the place is good, the rooms are also spacious, quiet and clean, but in my opinion the location is too deep and difficult for cars to enter because the road is too narrow, the service is ok, the owner's mother is very helpful, the room facilities are quite complete, only for breakfast the fried rice is tasteless Once tasted, it doesn't taste like seasoning

Rooms are very decent but can use a little upgrade. Best shower in town ( easy 15 minutes hot water ) value for money is great, although they just raised the prices with 50%.

U get what you paid for. The location is perfect, the room is fair, clean and the bed comfortable. The staff is really nice, we got bikes from the owner's brother for an amazing price and really new ones! The best bikes we got so far in Bali. Definitely recommended

The staff turned us away even though there were free rooms according to the booking. I guess I didn't want to make any money, I'm disappointed.

Best place to stay to explore Ubud area

The service has decreased from 2 years ago, the service (gentlemen) is rude and grumpy. just told me to clean the room as if I had to, the room was left open after cleaning with 2 cellphones and 1 laptop in it, fortunately nothing was lost. Breakfast also had to be reminded to the receptionist, wow, basically a downgrade, this will be the last time I come to this place.

The room is clean, and spacy With nice and soothing garden. The staff and owner are very helpfull. Great location, with great rate. Only 5 minutes from Monkey Forest through Nyuh Kuning.
