If you are departing, there are 2 very small cafes outside the building. 1 downstairs & upstairs at the viewing floor. There is one inside at the departure lounge. All basic food & drinks. There is a duty free & a souvenir shops too at the departure Lounge. No free wifi. U can catch a taxi to the domestic airport about 10 mins away. There is no shuttle. Taxis are not mark, but they will approach you or just ask for around. Temporary parking is TOP $1.00.

While on the way there, two staff members of the airline were walking back our way with my carrier and all my items. I was so thankful for them that they did this. Very friendly and helpful. Other than that, It's an old and kind of run-down airport, but I really don't mind. You're in the south Pacific now!

Seemed like most of the qualified staff just chitchatted and weren’t interested enough to speed up the process. In arrivals there is one taxfree shop, departures has a cafe/bar and couple cute souvenirs boutiques. There is a free wifi and good AC at the departure gate!

It was the first time back in 5 years. I like the newly renovated building but it only looks great as the old setup never caused us so much stress in the past . We had a horrible experience yesterday. We arrived on a large packed flight. The difference in climate between the cool flight and then walking through the unbearably hot tarmac was tough so we decided to skip Leiola duty free shop and go straight to our bags. The fans, the lights and the baggage machines broke down several times. Searching for bags and lining up to check out was like being stirred up in a boiling pot - no windows no fans no water available no bathroom to freshen up... This is a major health and safety issue, people could faint or die in there! People were dripping in sweat, old people were complaining and babies were wailing. Please fix your power issues. There was no order! Please tidy up the processing procedures as what was supposed to be 2 queues actually turned into 6 different lanes free-for-all into a bottle-neck. Barely received any assistance as staff were just sitting down or standing around and not properly guiding people. It was a traumatizing experience and we took about 1 hour and a half to get through.
