We have been going to Dr Yalon for a couple of years now and I credit him for quickly recognizing an emergency the ER overlooked as more then just an eye issue and sending us on the right path to get the proper diagnosis and treatment. Furthermore, his assistant Inez is always professional and goes out of her way to be helpful and assist in any way she can.

I had to come in today to have my eye looked at after a I had a reaction from getting eyelash extensions installed. I do not have insurance so I had to pay $295 for the initial new patient visit which was no problem. Dr. Yalon wanted to see me back in 2 days to see how my eye is doing and to pay $150. I kindly let the receptionist know that that is a lot to pay just for him to tell me if my eye has improved or not after I just paid $295 just two days prior. My problem is when the receptionist went to let Dr. Yalon know that I was unable to afford that, he immediately got testy with her and said loudly and irritably “That is my price!” After hearing that, I definitely did not want to come back. It’s fine if he could not reduce the price a bit, but the attitude that was a response to my kind request was unacceptable. I am giving 3 stars because the positive side to this is that the receptionist was very nice, helpful and did an amazing job at getting me on the schedule right away and getting my RX price reduced significantly with a coupon that she provided. Other than that, I am not a fan of Dr. Yalon’s attitude and will not back even if my eye was hanging out of my head.

Dr. Yalon is very knowledgeable of all the different types of eye diseases and infections and is very attentive to details. He provided me with exceptional care and this is perfect for routine eye checkups. I came for new glasses and contact prescription but am not leaving as a life long patient. I highly recommend this office and had such a great experience with him and the office staff.

Dr. Yalon is an amazing ophthalmologist. Very thorough and detailed. Takes his time to explain to you what’s happening with your eyes and how to correct it. He also has a sense of humor which is a plus. The ladies at the front are equally amazing and courteous.

I have been going to Dr Yalon for months, and he is a good eye doctor and a kind person. The eye center is a great place to check on the eye. Also, good eye drop medications for any type of scenarios. As for the eye surgery, just in case I could call him for that, for example, Stye infection. I had that surgery years ago, and hope in case of emergency, my eyes are Dr. Yalon. Furthermore, his assistant Inez is always professional and goes out of her way to be assist and helpful at times. I think the Eye Center is a wonderful place to visit in Hallandale.

Took my Aunt here for Laser Cataract Surgery and was So Impressed by the kindness and care she received that i had to write a review. I would be so nervous to have this kind of procedure done but Dr Yalon explained everything so well including the procedure and the full healing process that we felt very comfortable and would absolutely recommend them.

The place has a very personal touch and family feel, that was confirmed by the interaction with the doctor. After reviewing my eyes and problem he shared an alternative, natural approach, to treat my extremely dry eyes and informed me that it is a consequence of other health issues I have.
