The manatee observation is great if you can come at the right time of year year catch the manatees that swim by. There's also a nice little gift shop and small aquarium that is free for this month to go in. It's a cute little area with a few tanks of interesting fish and some amphibians as well. I think it's better for younger children since there isn't too much to see, however they have activities for little kids and games for them to play regarding the wildlife. Kids can also make a donation and sign the inside of a shell. As far as the aquarium goes, I prefer the St. Lucie County Aquarium. They do have a cool eel and puffer fish.

Neat little place. They offer some cool information on the sea life here in our oceans. They also sell boat ride tickets which were both fun and relaxing.

Staff was knowledgeable, passionate and spent time talking with both young and old visitors. Got very lucky while we were there and actually got to see some Manatees. Great quick trip to learn a little bit about the local area. Come and support them if you have the time! You wont regret it.

Interesting but a little anticlimactic. $2 per person to enter a tiny two rooms. Manatee observation deck overlooking the marina Inlet. Tiny gift shop on the side of the building. Staff was friendly & knowledgeable.

While we didn't see any manatees the day we were there, it was still worth the time to learn about the manatees, sit upstairs on the observation area & stroll through the little flower garden

Not only is it wonderfully educational with information about not only manatees but turtles, fish and wildlife. It is also breathtakingly beautiful. The butterfly garden is gorgeous and informational! If you get a chance to cisit the manatee Center, you should absolutely go.

We didn't get to see Manatees but we did see Moray Eel, Seahorses and lots of other sea creatures. It was only a dollar to enter. I would recommend stopping and check it out. The people running this place were very friendly and knowledgeable.

We loved coming here! Yes it's small but you can make the most out of it for an hour or so. We were lucky enough to see manatees in the water while there. A worker came in and let everyone know they were there which was super nice. Loved the education my boys obtained from hands on exposure. We will be back for sure.

It was nice but unfortunately the center wasn't fully open while we were there. We did see just one Manatee in the water.

We walked around the outside of the place and went into the gift shop. We were looking to find some manatees and managed to see some in the canal next to the place! The people working there were quite friendly and helpful!

Place is very nice, beautiful scenery, didn't see any manatees but did see a couple of lizards, iguanas, geckoes or whatever they are and one big rat that ran out of the trashcan and behind me! Water was pretty, sailboats, waves, heron!

We visited the Manatee Observation and Education Center several times and it was a wonderful experience! The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and they were happy to answer any questions we had. The center features a variety of educational materials, including informative displays and exhibits, which made learning about manatees much more enjoyable. The observation area is also a highlight of the experience; it would be nice to see manatees up close and in their natural habitat one day. Overall, I highly recommend the Manatee Observation and Education Center to anyone looking for an enjoyable and educational experience.

No manatees to be seen, to warm, but good information about manatees and a nice little gift shop.

Really cool place but if you want to see manatee you have to go on one of the 5 cold days we have a year. We did. It's awesome! Deffinetly worth bundling up in your hooded sweatshirts and long pants, and venturing out.

This is a charming little education center run by passionate volunteers. I think it was only $1 to enter, which is of course just a token fee for this non-profit. We saw a couple manatees hanging out in the harbor. A very peaceful place.

This was a very interesting place to visit. We unfortunately didn't get to see any manatees, but we did witness the feeding of the seahorses which was pretty cool. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and very inexpensive. The view is awesome, and they have a second floor deck to get some really nice shots of the fish and view. The butterfly garden was beautiful. Would certainly recommend anyone of all ages to go.

Excellent place to visit. Lots of information that is well displayed. Didn't see any manatees . 5 out of seven stars for a perfect score especially this time of year.

Probably a good place for young children for the interactive displays. However, we are adults, and this is a couple of rooms with a few aquariums. If we had seen manatees, I would say it was well worth the $2 ticket price, but that did not happen on the day we visited.

The education center is very small, but interesting, especially for children. We didn’t see any manatees in the harbor, probably because it was a cold and windy day.

They don't have a big exhibit, it's more of an educational facility, but they have a few tanks showing local wildlife. There's also a short movie about manatees and the background of the center. The staff are always on hand to answer questions. Outside in the marina you can look out for manatees. It's a really nice area. It's worth a visit as it's only $1 for admission and they do good work raising awareness of ecological issues.

Went down to check it out. Walked around and read all of the Highwayman information. So worth it, those men were incredibly talented. Also gawked at the House of seven gables for a bit, walked the Manatee bridge, but did not see any. Wonderful experience. We will return.

Loved it! The outdoor observation deck with the whiteboard "seen today" and the indoor underwater camera feed give you an effective view of many local species! Besides manatees, you might possibly view shark, barracudas, and very unique fish! The staff onsite are extremely knowledgeable and informative! Have a chat! Guess what? Your visit is FREE! Donations accepted...please leave something in the donation box!

Very informative and Inexpensive. Only $ 4.00 each and less for kids. Sometimes you see manatee but not always during warm months.

  • 3/5 Ava M. 2 years ago on Google
Live fish and a snake.. exciting. The outside park is great for pictures though. Beautiful iron horse running in the wind on a hilltop by the palm trees. Sign of Fort pierce too.

  • 5/5 David B. 1 year ago on Google
The manatees were not at the location, but the staff directed us to a nearby jetti where we saw on in the wild. It is hard to see in my photos. Look for a black area in the sea.

  • 5/5 Jean M. 1 year ago on Google
We didn't go inside this time, we had been there before. Wanted to see if any Manatee were gatered there. We checked out the surrounding area; intresting monuments, pretty cool sites.

  • 3/5 Anthony C. 1 year ago on Google
Love seeing these manatees when they come in. Unfortunately they aren't around all year. I used to come a d watch them at this location long before it was an obsession. They have swam and played and enjoyed the warm water from the power plant this is the plant started producing. It's the warm water that draws to them here to this location.

A great place for families with or without children. Had a touch tank that included sea a sea urchin and star fish, a live cam playing of manatees in Blue Springs, a video of manatee history, and an observation deck for visitors to see manatees if present. The entry fee was only $2!

  • 5/5 Kettie D. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing experience here today! We got here at 2pm and received so much information from volunteers George and Moira, who were so welcoming knowledgeable and friendly. Didn't see any manatees this time but we'll be back!

Very nice and entertaining place to visit. The manager instructed us about the life of the manatee.

  • 3/5 Cruiser P. 1 year ago on Google
This is a very small building with a small admission. Honestly, this is pretty underwhelming and I don’t think there should be any sort of admission fee. The staff was all incredibly nice and informative, though.

I would have given it a much higher rating, if it had been open. Very disappointed. Earlier, we had been to the Oceanographic Center so we figured this would have been open as well.

Invasive species from the west indies, not endangered, yet we shut down out waterways to no wake zones every year. Captains can spot them easy

When I went there I saw my first Manatee right outside there were four of them. Then we went inside and it was a little exhibit and fish tanks $1 to get in
