    This hotel was dirty, reeked of cigarette smoke, and we found bugs on the bed. We ended up booking at another hotel after the first night. Advertised as clean but it was far from it, there was no comfortability and I wish I was able to get my money back for the second night that we didn't stay. Absolute worst experience at a hotel I have ever had.

    The hotel looks very nice outside so we were looking forward to our stay but was a major disappointment and if I could I would like my money back because that room was not worth $162 a night. It was old and filthy not to mention little dead cockroaches were everywhere on the floor. There were no shampoos not that I was gonna use it, I was so grossed out that I didn’t even want to use the towels or take a bath. I brushed my teeth in the kitchen sink and didn’t even use the toilet. I couldn’t wait to get out of that filthy room and just to think I paid $162 for it. I ought to report you guys to the Better Business Bureaus for false advertisement. I would never ever stay in any of your chained rooms (I wouldn’t even call it a hotel beca It was NOT a hotel). I will submit my review with pictures on Google reviews so people will be aware of it.

    Excellent place to stay. Safety was NOT a concern at this Location. I've been to several other extended stays, this one by far has been the BEST. The suite was very clean upon checking in, as well as the outside, the front desk staff were very polite and accommodating. Close to lots of food places as well. If I ever need to, I would definitely stay here again!

    At check-in we were not told there was no elevator in our building, so we had to carry our 4 bags upstairs. Never offered to help until we called to complain from our room Too late! Plus the room was old and not as advertised looking new on the website. I would rather pay double somewhere else than stay here again.

    Worst experience ever at a hotel. The Room were super dirty and have heavy smoke smell. This is not a family friendly environment. Donna at the front Desk not helpful at all and rude and lying individual. Not cater toward guests at all. The bathroom tube super dirty. They don’t do 10 point inspection to make sure the room are presentable and ready for guests. I book for 7 days after changing to another room carpet were stank I couldn’t not inhale the smell. I had to leave to go to another hetel. Please stay around from this place people are purse smoking taking all night super ghetto.

    This place was the worst hotel I’ve ever encountered. The walls were filthy and full of holes. The bathroom was disgusting and smelled of weed, dirt, piss and any filth you could Think of. The entrance door would not close and the bed and sheets were absolutely filthy. The microwave looks like it has had a fire. The stove was burned badly and was awful all around. I did not feel safe or comfortable staying any nights there. I went to front desk asked for a refund and checked out immediately to go back home which is a 7 hour trip. The front desk clerk offered another room, however she felt that room wouldn’t be any better than the one I was in . This hotel looks nothing like the pictures advertised.

    This place is absolutely disgusting and outrageously priced. $300 per night to live in filth. I don’t blame the staff I blame the upper management and CEO and owners. Things don’t get this bad because of a couple of bad employees. The issues are systemic here. Underside of my toilet seat had someone else’s poop I had to wipe away. Top side of toilet seat had someone else’s pee on it. The bathroom sink is clogged. The furniture looks like it is melting into the floor because of water damage. Just general dirt everywhere you look. I won’t even take a shower here or undress for bed because I feel I will come out dirtier. Also was not fun to show up to the hotel late at night and find no staff were there to check me in. I felt abandoned. The one staff member I eventually talked to and let me in was nice. Again I think this is upper management and the owners fault for things being this bad. Don’t blame the workers in your response to my review. Will never come here again even if it is the only option. Honestly this place needs to be completely renovated or demolished. You should have the money for that considered how much you overcharge for rooms.

    Staff is very respectful and very helpful, however, 2 significant issues, 1st one is very poor training! 2nd one was a "Bait And Switch", for lack of a better term. Issue #1 - REGARDING TRAINING When I first arrived at ESA I had an ad on my phone showing a nightly rate of $78.99. I made a 10 day request which showed A daily rate of $95.88? Obviously I wasn't very happy, when I ask the gentleman behind the counter, he said "All I can give you is the rate that comes up on the computer"! (Serious training issues!) I came in the next day and spoke to the Manager who explained that the $78.99 was a monthly rate! A week went by as I was very busy, and I saw the manager walking to the office and asked her how do I get the the $78.99 rate, she stated I would have to go online and Enter a 30-day reservation to get that rate. So I tried the their website to put in a 30-day reservation and it quoted me $82.99. When I told the manager that, she said to call California where the head office is. After being switched around to 4 different agents, which none of them could give me that rate, I was so frustrated, I just packed up and left! ISSUE #1 SUMMARY; VERY POOR TRAINING FOR EVERYONE I CAME IN CONTACT WITH! ISSUE #2 I was actually shocked when I 1st walked into the room because it didn't look anything like the one on the ad! I read it completely two times and I couldn't find any disclaimers or any content referring to "room pictured in ads may not be available"! Room had rust and dirt on all metal appliances and fixtures, including the fan above the burners, the refrigerator and several places around the bathroom. ISSUE #2 SUMMARY ESA PRACTICES "BAIT AND SWITCH" TACTICS AND ADVERTISEMENTS!

    I've stayed here quite a bit. The 200 bldg seemed fine, but this lady time I was in the 300 bldg and there was a smell. Like a musty, moldy, stale smell. But I did love the shower and the pressure. That part was amazing just need to fix the air

    The first night I was here I went outside to walk my dog and left my key in the room around 11:30 PM. It was after 4 AM before I was able to re-enter my room. There was no hotel employee anywhere around for hours I had to call another location and ask them to call a manager to come let me in. The manager has done everything he could to make up for the bad night He went above and beyond to try to turn the corner and I can’t thank him enough for the effort. So now I checked out last night and he told me to come back in the morning pick up my cash deposit I just went back and they said they don’t have any deposit to give back to me

    If you love Bugs in your room you will love this place !!! I was told this is not an original Extended Stay it was a different motel it needs a lot of attention its really in poor shape. The one in plantation is awesome bigger rooms full kitchens its more like a one bed room apartment and a pool now that's a Hotel. The phones in the rooms are terrible it cuts out all the time like I said its lacking a lot of renovation many folks I know say the same thing about this motel.!!!! Poor !!! P.S. I almost forgot if your using your cell phone in the room reception is terrible u need to go outside your room to talk Wow if you have an emergency late at night you will wake up everyone what a JOKE !!! and they do have washers and driers but they went up to 2.50 for wash and the same for drier that's a Little to much since the economy is so bad theres no ice machines and the refrigerators are small not to mention the garbage cans they are small and useless so small bring your own in your room if you plan on staying a while.The maid service is a joke they never smile its like they hate there job one day I was in my car and I noticed the maid drinking some juice she threw the empty container in the bushes in front of the room she was cleaning. The sheets had urine stains not to mention what ever other stains were on them how discusting they should pay you to stay there instead of you paying them. This is my honest review I hope this helps you.!!!

    The room was stinking and full of smoking odor. But they just kept the pamphlet stating non-smoking room. Carpet, Bath tub were very dirty and not cleaned at all. It's was a horrible experience. Never ever stay in this hotel. Unsafe place and unsafe hotel. People were drinking, smoking weed and making noise the entire night.

    The worse smelling hotel room I've ever stayed in, like weed mixed with curry, homeless sweat and dog pee. Filthy, dingy carpet and bathroom wasn't cleaned. Even the towels didn't smell fresh, bedsheets had hairs and stains. Trashy folks in parking lot, people having loud arguments, dogs barking....just HORRIBLE. I didn't get any sleep, was anxious all night

    The front desk staff there were outstanding! Yasmine the supervisor, Allister and Andre provided Excellent Customer Service! I needed help in extending my grandsons stay there and really appreciated their understanding, time and patience. They ALL personally helped me 3 - 8 December 2021 immensely! Please laud and commend them for their EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you, CYRUS K MAXILOM

    This particular property is located around everything, and everywhere you may wanna go, it's clean and quiet. Most of all managers, Yasmine and Jeans went the extra mile to accommodate any requests I asked of them and the hotel's staff is hospitable. Bottom line, a great hotel stay at a great price.

    I have been here over a month now. The hotel is great. The staff led by manager Yasmine is very caring with excellent customer skills. I will surely recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. I am pleased with the service.

    This is by far the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. After paying over $600 for 2 nights. When we entered the hotel after driving around the building to find the room because of the small numbers on the side of the door at 11:30pm, we were greeted by a roach 🪳 on the bed. I went to talk to someone at the front desk, but the lady disappeared shortly after checking in. I called the 954 number to speak to someone. I told the person who claimed she works in laundry, but answered the phone at night. She said she works until 7am. She told me management is not on ground and she will deliver my message the next day. I went back to hotel room to take a shower. Next thing I knew, the tub water started backing up. I called the customer service again and she made me believe she will let management know about my experience. Next morning I went to office to talk to someone. The receptionist took my info and complaint stating management will be there around 12pm and will have management call me. No one called since. I made clear I did not want to spend another night in the room and at the hotel, but no one cared to resolve the issue. I Will never stay at this roach 🪳 infested hotel again and will make sure everyone I talk to stay away from it. Management sucks. Their whole team sucks. Nasty disgusting hotel. Not worth it. Do not stay here.

    if I could give it 0 stars, I would. first off, when you walk in, there was no staff. we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for ONE female staff member to arrive at the front. the posters in the lobby claimed to have super clean rooms and ensure your safety which made me feel more secure. when we walked out of the lobby, there was sketchy people, which just made the area feel more uncomfortable and unsafe. when we finally found our room, we opened the door of the “suite” the room smelled of straight mold and marijuana. the air quality is terrible to the point where I have a sore throat and it’s only half way through our stay. We walked in, and there was a hair and a couple of stains on the sheets. the stove was on and the microwave was on as well. there were stains all over the fridge and all I’ve the walls. the tv control didn’t work well, and it didn’t lower the volume. Out of curiosity, I looked under the bed and I couldn’t even keep looking due to how much junk was under there. I am worried for my health staying here. This place is just dirty and old and ugly. Please make this a pleasurable experience for the amount of money we paid. we paid $225 or so for this room, and it was well worth a good $5. I will NEVER be staying here again. please for the love of god, I don’t care if it’s your last resort, i don’t recommend staying here at all.

    I have to say, this is by far one of the best Extended Stay's. I have read some of the reviews, in all fairness, you will encounter issues. The staff is exceptional, they work very hard for each guest. I have never once seen a bug, as that is a huge deal with me. I will and have always recommended this location.

    Management needs to ensure people are not smoking within 100 feet of rooms and violators should be fined accordingly. The bathroom ventilation system is broken and all types of fumes get inside the room; marijuana smell, smoke, food etc.... I informed maintenance and they didn't do anything about it. It got to the point I was getting sick in my stomach and couldn't tolerate the smells and decided to check out. The wall air conditioning unit was old, detached from the wall, barely worked and I was having serious allergic reactions as a result of that.

    Sub-par customer service at best, or if at all. Without notice or authorization, they charge your card (that's called theft!!). IF by any chance a tree falls on your car, notice will not be given, nor will they resolve anything (3 months and still waiting for a courtesy call to inform me of the occurrence). Everyone from property management to corporate ping pong you around, passing the buck. They do not give notice of water being shut off, and you wake up to no water. Water quality is as good as their customer service. Bottle on the right is straight out of their tap, and bottle on the left is bottled water. DON'T drink their tap water!!!

    We checked into the hotel and it was a scene from Bates motel..had to book a new hotel and wasn’t even offered a resolution or refund..Left crying with anxiety. The front desk was not helpful and didn’t even offer to show me another room. The one I had was dirty, full of bugs and even the stove top was burned and not in working conditions and I won’t even start with the bathroom. Not a room that should be offered to guess.

    I don't like to be that person who gives bad reviews however this was the worst, our room was listed as clean when we checked in, NOT SO, there was dirty linens trash and a used condom on the floor, the young lady at the front desk seemed as grossed out as we were, she put us in a different room also supposedly clean, it was not, there seemed to be a feeble attempt at making the room look cleaned, but there was trash still on the floor under the beds, black markings in the shower some weird stains on the towels and linens, of course NO REFUNDS and the room was prepaid. ( I'll never do that again) We went out and bought our own cleaning supplies rags, towels, linens, and pillows and spent 2 hours bleaching and sanitizing. I wish I could post the pictures of the filth so people know I'm not exaggerating. We traveled six hours for a wedding otherwise I'd have taken the L and went home, very disappointed

    If you enjoy road noise, 1/2 a mini kitchen with the dollar store quality utensils (also buy everything a kitchen might need to cook and clean up) and thin walls because you like to listen in, this place is for you. The doors seem warped, so near the corners there is a 1/2" gap to let air and noise in. The bed is not bad and the bathroom is very nice. It was an upgrade from the other place we were going to stay at so even though I'd never stay again it was not terrible when using heavy duty wax ear plugs for sleeping.

    It was amazing simply because of one outstanding person - Yasmine Hall, the General Manager! She went above and beyond to make sure our reservation needs were met and accommodated which I can honestly say I’ve never experienced a hotel manager who cared so deeply about their guests. I highly recommend staying here to anyone in the Broward County area ..

    Normally I don't stay in hotels, but this stay in particular changed my outlook on them in general. The service was amazing the rooms are very clean. Even the guy up front Andres i think his name was, his customer service was excellent. He answered all my questions and was very helpful along with the rest of staff. I will definitely come again.

    I had to leave the property because the bathroom was stinking to weed everyday. It looks like the bathroom shares any kind of pipeline with other rooms pipeline and if the bathroom door is open all the room stinks. The AC doesn't work properly I was moved to a different room for that reason. People smokes weed inside the cars as well. The staff is very nice, but they're just a few to assist everyone. This was an unpleasant experience.

Some prefer the more ritzy hotels but I'm sure there you're just a $ sign walking and I'm the kind of person that loves interactions with humans and this place doesn't disappoint with the staff... Everyone is great and kind and always willing to make my stay more comfortable, I'm acknowledged by my name and not just a room # ...     Reserved 2 rooms and when I arrived was told that one (smoking) room was available. Had a large party so was forced to sleep on floor. On top of that 2 other parties arrived and were told their reservation could not be honored because they had -3 rooms available that night. Oh and front desk staff berated my fiancé and never once apologized for the overbooking rather she blamed the 3 parties in the lobby. Absolute disgrace.

    If you’re considering this hotel just stop right now and look elsewhere. I’m not a huge traveler these days but this is really the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Arrival time was 11PM which I noted when making the reservation. Nobody there and the office locked when we arrived. Waited almost an hour out front in my car for the attendant to come get us checked in, along with several other new check-ins and customers who were having issues with their rooms. This isn’t the kind of area you want to be out in the open either. Let’s just say my son saw my 9mm for the first time ever that night as I felt it needed to be easily accessible. Lots of randoms just walking around giving you a bit too much more attention than is normal. Now let’s get to the room itself. Just look at the photos. I don’t really feel like they need explanation. I do apartment maintenance for a living and if this place employs a maintenance person they should be ashamed. Cleaners should be fired as well. The only bright spot was the attendants were nice in the very limited interactions we had and maybe none of this stuff is their fault. If you could mismanage a landfill that was on fire and smelled like farts, this would be it.

    I wanted to share our recent experience with Extended Stay America at Suites Fort Lauderdale – Davie (7550 State Rd. 84, Davie, FL 33317). We had booked two rooms and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. Here is a summary of our experience: Unprofessional reception service: Our unpleasant experiences began with the late-night check-in process. Despite informing the front desk of our late arrival at evening and again at late night, we were left waiting outside with our family for almost 15-20 minutes. Multiple phone calls went unanswered, and it was disconcerting to find the reception locked at 1 am. Eventually, someone arrived to assist us, raising concerns about the efficiency of your 24x7 reception service. Changes in Reservation: We had booked two rooms well in advance to take price advantage. However, hotel cancelled our original reservations, we were forced to rebook. The new reservations required us to pay charges at a per night rate with tax, which was significantly higher, resulting in an unexpected financial burden. Rebooking Hassle: We experienced a lengthy 2-hour wait at midnight, causing inconvenience to our family. The staff seemed unaware and unprepared on the reservation process. Unacceptable room condition: Unexpected and prolonged check in process was exacerbated by the condition of the room. The carpet was stained, the room lacked dining and cooking utensils, and numerous maintenance issues, such as a defective bathroom sanitary, non-functional room extension phone, and rusted stovetop, further contributed to our dismay. We refrained from contesting the rate difference during this ordeal due to the late hour and concerns for the safety of our family. Lack of Kitchen Utensils: We were disappointed to find that no kitchen utensils were provided during our stay. This was particularly problematic for us, as we have food restrictions and were unable to prepare our own meals. Our son fell ill, impacting our stay and vacation in the Miami area. Very limited Breakfast Options: Throughout our stay, we were disappointed to discover that the breakfast options were limited to just coffee. We expected a more comprehensive breakfast service, as is common in many extended stay establishments. Poor maintenance services: Throughout our stay, our requests for maintenance were either ignored or inadequately addressed, leading us to cancel them ourselves. Even during our check-out, there was no one at the reception, and we had to leave our room keys on the counter. The combination of all these issues significantly impacted our stay and left us with a negative impression of Extended Stay America. I strongly suggest not to visit this hotel.
