Absolutely DO NOT BOOK HERE! This hotel should be shut down, gutted, and rebuilt. The rooms are trash! Everything from the carpet, the bedding, lamps, and curtains are the original from the day this hotel was opened. The rooms were dirty. One room we booked had pee in the toilet. The lamp shade in my room was dry-rotted. I refused to sit on the bed. I didn't want my shoes on the carpet. It was just disgusting a d ran down. They don't put any money into any grades nor cleaning. The staff is great! Very friendly and helpful. The rooms though 😷🤢 NASTY and outdated. The rooms were $168 per night. They're not worth $50 per night. At best $15 per night. We asked for a full refund, and was provided a full refund, without any hesitation. The staff understood and we left. We spent 20 mins in the room and see all we needed to see. If you're desperate, I recommend, booking somewhere else that's far more better for the same price.

People can smoke weed day and night on the premises without any problem! Disgusting! The room is filthy from carpet to curtain what had coffee marks to the sticky bathroom floor and dirty bedsheets! Service was better but when I can’t speak Spanish respect your guests that you speak Spanish with others behind their backs! Location is a quiet area. The pictures on Google maps are deceiving, misleading very much! This place worth $25 a night! Worse than a road side motel! Do not and I repeat DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE

The room was clean. Had issues with ants on the counter. The bathroom looked like it would cave in. NO TOWELS. They were out of towels and blankets. Beds had dents in the middle and the springs squeak and poke out (no joke, no exaggeration). On our second night a very big roach crawled out from under the bed, the phones did not work so I walked to front desk and was told that there was nothing they could do about it. After arguing with front desk she said maybe she could move us to another room (it was around 11:00 pm). We checked out instead. Room attendants were very kind and sweet!

Stayed for my brother’s wedding. My feet have never been dirtier then they were walking around our hotel room barefoot, while doing my hair and make up. The hotel hasn’t been updated. Ever. Not even the hair covered, moldy shower curtain. Staff was super friendly though!! Especially when I had to bring my room keys to be reset because they kept deactivating.

Great location, good service, basic rooms. The view is a golf course. There is ample parking. The rooms are good motel rooms but the furniture needs dusting and the carpets need cleaning. A night of walking around barefoot will leave your feet black. Look for ample South Florida lizards, frogs, and ducks. A great value in the expensive Miami metro area.

Susan is very helpful and the house keeping very good with all request. Have stayed here couple of times, always had a great experience, great cable in the rooms and the pool is amazing. I'm definitely coming back and booking reservations with them. Very clean rooms never saw bugs nor had anything break or damage. The times I been here I been in the suite rooms amazing views of the ducks and other birds.

This place has been the most unpleasant stay I have ever been to in my life!! I have had to kill at least 8 fully grown palmetto bug(big darn roaches). We have had to buy a can of roach spray… they literally crawled out of the bathroom sink when I was brushing my teeth!!!!!! This place violates so many health codes it shouldn’t even be up and running. As soon as it crawled onto that bed that’s when I was just done! I would never recommend anyone to this place ever !!!! The owner should be friggin ASHAMED and Completely disgusted in himself. They would be better off burning this place down to a crisp and starting fresh. Zzz

DO NOT BOOK HERE NEVER.!! It is not what appears in the photos. The lobby smells bad and old furniture for the firts impression. They have online price and directly with them it is more expensive. This hotel looks more like a passing motel. Also the cleaning is lousy. We stayed 2 days and the room never was not cleaned and the beds were not made. Additionally, everything is in poor condition, everything smells damp and the terrible heat, we could not sleep, the air was at 64 and the room had not cooled. Honestly, they should start an urgent upgrade, it's disgusting to take bath in those bathrooms. There are better options for the same price in the area.

Made a tee time reservation online. Web site said you could cancel up to 24 hours in advance. I called the Pro Shop 3 days before and was told to call a 1-800 number. A recording said all cancellations were online. Went back online and there was not a cancellation option. Call the Pro Shop again to explain the situation and they hung up on me. Went to the Pro Shop in person and the rude young lady who hung up told me she had already cancel the reservation (even though on my first called she said she couldn't). Waiting to see if they charge my credit card. Don't waste your time and money here. Terrible customer service.

This was without a doubt the worst place I have ever stayed in. It needs knocking down, or completely gutting. Our feet were black with dirt from just walking across the carpet in the room. Everything in the room was either falling apart or dirty and even cockroaches running wild across the landing. We couldn’t even get a drink in the morning as coffee machine was full of all sorts of disgustingness. To have paid to stay in such appalling conditions is embarrassing…. Please do yourselves a favour and do not stay here!!

An absolutely horrible hotel. This is more a motel than a hotel. The $90 charged is way too much based on this motel’s internal appearance. The outside looks fine, but the rooms are outdated, not maintained, dirty and the A/C makes way too much noise. Very disappointed and since I arrived late in the evening, I have no other recourse but to stay. I do not recommend this motel…do yourself a favor and spend a little more money and stay in an actual modern hotel. This place is a total ripoff.

The girl at the front desk was dropped from hell. I had major problems with the room . All she wanted to do was argue. She raised her voice over mine which of course made me raise mine which turned into a yelling match. I turned to leave and she threw the plastic sign on the desk at me. I picked it up which was sharp it cut me. I brought to back to her which caused more yelling and I turned to leave again and something else hit me in the back on the way out the door. She refused to refund my money for the 3 night stay so the police got my money back. There are cracks in the tiles around the pool. There 4 steps coming down from the pool that are painted black or dark gray and not well lit. If you want to enjoy your stay go elsewhere. The lobby is dirty as the fountain that was green and nasty.

First, the good...staff is lovely and we weren't murdered during our one night visit. Bad.... upon arrival toilet didn't flush and no water on sink or shower. Tried to call front desk but in-room phone didn't work. Broken water line that did get fixed. Old and filthy carpet. Dated furniture and bathroom from the 60's. Super low sink vanity and toilet. 3 channels on tv. Outside grounds old and dirty and sketchy deserted at night. BTW, we booked the King Suite! Bad news

The worse experience of my life. The hotel needs to be bulldozed and rebuilt. Where do I start. I have pictures of the nasty rooms walkways pool. Eek. I’m home and I am still grossed out. The area was sold out so we had to stay but we went to Walmart and purchased new bedding towels cleaning supplies air fresheners. My daughter cleaned the sofa and the paper towel was black! The staff didn't care except for Patricia. She tried but she just works there. The hotel…resort had ONE wine opener and I was told to bring it back right after I used it because they don’t have others and I’d be charged. One!!! The walkways tiles are broken and nasty. The pool looked as though you’d get sick if you entered the edges and steps were moldy and green moss at the bottom. 170.00 a night for that garbage! Because of Patricia we managed to get a room where they had just replaced the mattress but the carpet and furniture had holes and just nasty. The armoire had holes in them!!! The drawers just pulled out and fell as there are not on tracks. Ants everywhere! We finished two cans of microban air fresheners and Lysol wipes. We ran into another family that expressed the same grossness and did what we did by going to Walmart for bedding socks etc. This place should be shut down for a complete rebuild! Eeek!

My room (sink, bathtub, toilet, etc.) was unclean the very first night I arrived. I requested a different room and was upgraded to a suite (the representative was really nice and apologetic). The suite had small insects outside on the door and when I went inside I saw those same insects crawling out of the mini fridge and on the countertop. The bedsheets didn’t look too clean either. I went back to the lobby to request to stay in the original room. Again the representative was nice and apologetic and she switched me back to the original room and suggested that I contact the manager about the inconvenience. I came back down to the lobby earlier the next morning to make sure the manager was going to be coming in later that morning. There was a different representative in the lobby at the time so I asked about the manager and explained what happened with both of the rooms. She confirmed the manager would be in, but what I did not like is that she mentioned it being common for insects getting into rooms because of a water current/front; it came across to me as justifying insects in the suite. Eventually I was able to connect with another representative, Susan. She was really nice, apologetic, understanding and willing to offer a refund for 1/2 nights I stayed at the resort. She explained how the refund process works which was also helpful. The good thing about this resort is its location and the bed quality was not terrible but I felt more comfortable sleeping under my own bedsheets that I brought with me. The negatives about the room are it was unclean (I ended up having to wash up and shower at my friend’s place) and needed an air purifier.

I went this past weekend (end of March beginning of April) and the experience was terrible. In cleaning they have 0 all the lamps were full of dust. The bathtub drain didn't work, as soon as you turned on the shower, the water began to accumulate. There were cockroaches all over the room and the bathroom was full of small cockroaches wherever you want, wherever you looked you saw cockroaches. I don't recommend it at all. It has a good location and accessibility but a terrible presentation.

2 hours ago on Google Front desk person was friendly. That’s the only positive thing about this place. The entire complex is in need of a remodel. The doors and windows to the rooms were in poor condition/ replace or paint. Our room door never closed properly. Boards covered what was once louvered windows. One-piece sink for the bathroom was straight out of 1985 (as did virtually all of the room). Dirtiest windows I’ve ever seen. Old washcloth was left hanging off the shower head. Newer looking carpet was poorly installed. And there were clumps of hair and dust along the baseboard. Everything about the tub and shower was negative, the tub was stained. Mattresses were awful, uncomfortable. Don’t waste your money on this is place. We weren’t able to go anywhere else, so we were stuck there. $150 plus a $50 deposit (refunded). They should have paid us to stay there.

Very poor quality. The property very dirty as if nobody ever cleans it. The room was nasty; dirty bedsheets, toilet wasn't cleaned, hair all over the place, broken furniture and cabinets, the TV and phone didn't work, the carpet was filthy and stained all over. Room service only came thrice in my 5 night stay; one time not fixing the bed and only replenishing the towels. OMG the towels!! Disgusting! Stains all over. I highly recommend you do not waste your money here. I'd honestly complain but I highly doubt they'd care. I read similar reviews from others but thought the resort couldn't be as bad as they said. And I was right....its worse!! Stay away...you've been warned.

The other reviews are valid. Check in was easy. Clerk was friendly. Restaurant not available. They charge $4 per day for parking. Clean rooms. Good place if you're looking for safe, cheap, quiet place to sleep. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Beautiful course and friendly staff. We played royal/grand as Sabal was backed up due to slow players. The course, and maybe this is just how Florida courses are, was quite flat but provided a good challenge. Tee boxes were in good shape and greens were pretty quick and also in good condition. Fairways we're pretty well taken care of, nothing major stuck out to me. Only complaint is that there's no grill or kitchen. The only cooked item is the hot dog, otherwise it's prepacked wraps or sandwiches. Would definitely come back again.

I was told I could get a refund for the week after being there one day, but no one has responded to booking.com. My 3 year old grand daughters feet were black from walking in the room. We would clean her feet and they would be black again. After cleaning her feet 4 times, even with crocs on, there was no way I could let her stay there for a week.Little ones play and crawl on floors! No way this was happening for a week!!! There was nothing good there except the very nice staff! Please respond to booking.com!!!

There are no words to accurately describe the disgust of this hotel. I cant speak to the golf course but don’t stay at the hotel beyond the dirty bathroom. There was hair on the sink, wall and floor the room. There was a dead lizard under the bed skirt that had been there so long that it was starting to be translucent. We complained to the front desk and they promised to have the room cleaned but they never cleaned the room just made the bed. Toilet ran all night and there were ants. The refrigerator was leaking water, if it wasn’t for the fact that it was Christmas and everything close by was full we would not have stayed here.

The reception area is very ghetto, The room was not well taken care of, part of the ceiling was falling down in pieces, the beds are super small for two normal size people, plus you have to park 2 blocks from your rooms

Not the best hotel, customer service was great! But the hotel definitely needs improvements, the main attraction is the golf course!

Cracks everywhere. Carpet had cigarette burns, looks original. Pink counters in restroom with shell shaped sink. Shower worked, water was hot, pressure was a joke. Bed sheets were clean, mattress felt almost new. Basic cable, regular local TV. Coffee pot, iron board with iron. Pool was warm, needs to run a floor skimmer to remove the seeds and palm leaves. Cracks, need to clean the pool area and do Basic maintenance. Tiki bar wasn't in service. No spa. Front fountain is leaning. This property is in serious need of maintenence and a remodel.

I am sad to say, this hotel was probably a nice place back in the day. But not only is it outdated, and run down, its like a ghost town; think we were the only guests there. We called the desk for towels and cups and never got it. The restaurant is closed and they don’t even have.

Course is well past it’s prime. Greens smell like fish and are full of weeds/divots. Tee boxes are in terrible shape. For the prices they charge you’d expect the course to be managed more effectively. For a cheaper price you can play at Pembroke Lakes down the street and enjoy some pristine quality golf! Shame.

Website does not truly depict what this facility actually looks like or offers. The rooms are way out of date and not very nice. The pool was green, there was no free breakfast because the restaurant was still closed from Covid, even now April 29, 2023. The desk clerk was rude and not helpful. The only good comment I can make, would be that the cleaning service lady was nice. This facility was the cheapest around, so I guess the moral to the story is you get what you pay for.

  • 4/5 Diane J. 1 year ago on Google
I always go here when I go down south of course because of the prices but the people in the office are always so kind and helpful. I feel safe when I'm there and the ground are nice to look at or walk around if you want an evening stroll you can be safe. Sometimes I have a problem with the keys getting in the door but it's not a reason for me to stay away. I wish they had an open restaurant and a little entertainment will be nice but I understand it is basically for golfing

BAMBOOZLED! ☆ My partner chose this "Resort" not only for its location but also for its online photos. The outside/ main entrance is beautiful but as you continue along to your room, you start to get the sense that this is not the "Resort & Spa" kind of Hotel you were looking forward too. This was more like a movie set. Something was completely off. Safe to say we only stood for 1 night. As we get to our room and use the key card to open our door, I am instantly transported to the 1990's. From the rug, to the bedspread up to the ceiling fan. Let's not forget to mention the bathtub faucet knob that appears to have come from a sunken ship. It's wasn't brass or textured wrought iron. The shower was decent. Bathroom and sink area were both up to par but when we requested extra linens after 6pm no one came so we went to the front desk and were told that there were no more and housekeeping had already gone for the day the moment we called. (I've never stayed in a hotel were housekeeping leaves for the night..) As far as amenities, Visitors were restricted from visiting the Golf course, breakfast was not offered as mentioned in some other reviews. No refrigerator, no microwave. Ice machine located outdoors in a far corner just like in those thriller/horror movie settings, that's conveniently sat next to a washer and dryer. Air conditioning worked wonderfully, tv was loud enough to drown out the neighbor. The visiting Waterbug took its time to crawl into a small Crack in the closet. He could've easily flown over the building to get to the other side. There was no need to violate our space. My partner & did the best we could with what we had to make the experience less disappointing. He was totally Catfished by the photos online when he booked this place in April 2023. Place gets the ☆ for its Beautiful facade. The main entrance is a view. The rest is not worth it unless you really want a Motel style stay because that's the best way to describe this place, a Motel. DO BETTER GRAD PALMS HOTEL, SPA AND GOLF RESORT (that hotel visitors are not allowed to access the golf)

  • 1/5 Jan J. 1 year ago on Google
I agree with all the other reviews that the property needs to be renovated. The bathroom door handle is shaking and hard to open. The carpet is filthy. No carpet should be in rooms now with all these different types of viruses. Stayed 3 nights. The room was never cleaned. The towel feels like sandpaper.. Breakfast is a bag wirh muffin, protein bar and a fruit cup. This hotel is worst than a motel. Paying $136 per night is definitely not worth it. Parking is horrible, long walk with limited space. Greatest thing about this place it was close to where I needed to go. The front desk personnel had an attitude, unprofessional!

Dated Florida hotel. Rooms were clean and neat. Bathroom could have cleaner grout and new tubs. Saw several people going to the golf course. Pool didn't look inviting. My room was not ready at check in but, I was quickly given another room. The lock was a little tricky but, I was able to figure it out.

0 star motel! 🤢 disgusting, dirty, old, ran down & nasty. Not a place to close your eyes at, you would have to keep all the lights on & pray a roach doesn’t crawl on you. I’ve seen so far in one day 2 German roaches running on the carpet!!!! DONT BOOK HERE. Trust & listen to all the negative reviews. I don’t even know why there’s a “Resort” in the name. Think of the oldest, dirtiest, cheapest, small motel you can think of & it’s this one. Grand Palms Over Priced, Disgusting, Health violating Motel. No lights in parking lot, unsafe, hmmm what else? No elevator…no fridge, no microwave, nothing to do, no breakfast, vending machines that barely work. 🤢

  • 1/5 Angela W. 1 year ago on Google
No! No! No!...the place is very outdated, mirror on the closet was broken, doors do not latch properly. We walked in to our room and there were people sleeping in the beds!!!!!! Couple of the doors on that floor were left open, when we went to tell the front desk about the room she had no idea anyone was in that room. Finally got into a room it was disappointing for the price we paid. Beds were so uncomfortable. Had moldy smell. Walls are falling apart, walls and floors in bathroom as well, Only good thing I can say was the front desk lady was nice.

  • 1/5 Gaijin S. 1 year ago on Google
Before i say anything else. The staff here is 5 stars A+. Super friendly and hospitable. UNFORTUNATELY that is where the quality stops at this place. The rooms are HORRENDOUSLY out dated and old especially for the price. Stains on the walls, old musty smells, dirty carpet, everything. The rooms aren't BAD just VERY VERY old. We came with kids for the holidays and we weren't even comfortable letting them walk on the floor because it was so old and gross. Remodel ASAP.

I thought the place was decent for the price. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. On the third night i noticed a small heard of the nastiest bugs you ever saw. Running across the carpet. Ick! False alarm though. My wife said that they came out of my Jockey shorts that I left on the floor.
