Last resort hotel This is my 2nd time writing a review. 1st time 4 stars this time 1 star. You get what you pay for. First thing when you get here they asked Is why we were staying there. ( they shouldn’t ask they wrote it in our receipt) My girl told them for a concert however it was for a vacation. Stayed 2 weeks. Because of this manager came to my room first day after noon to tell me to turn my music down when I was clearly paying over 1000$ to stay there they treated us like children then we found out They charge a fee on top Of your total for changing sheets. However they only do room service every 14 days. You have to ask for toilet paper every day. The room has a smell that just won’t go away. There were stains on the mattress Protectors including dog prints the couch had animal scratches all over it. We kept finding little bugs on the walls then later found bugs in our food inside the food cabinets. then we found roaches on the walls and inside one of our cups you have to take out your own trash to the back of the parking lot To throw it out half way thru our stay the elevator stopped working we had to use the stairs which happened the last time. Overall I would not recommend This Hotel and I will definitely not be staying here ever again.

This hotel is beautiful, clean Except for the bathroom wall that has some yellow stains. Staff Danekah was very professional and kind. Checking was easy and fast. Great parking and everything is near by including movie theater. Very nice location. I'm going again.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayin!!! The walls are paper thin, I complained numerous times about person upstairs! Sounded like they were bowling up there! Management did nothing! Rooms are cleaned every two weeks. I wish someone warned me, so I’m warning you!! Don’t book here!!!

Absolutely worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I don't even know where to start - Firstly thee unprofessional employees so disrespectful. I was charged a fee because I "LEFT MY TRASH" just sitting in the parking lot. Then when I went to address the situation they got mad so the staff put me on a "Due not rent list" which they supposedly cannot remove me from. Which is fine because I would never stay here again. I work 16 hours a day and when I get to my room at 3am every night I cannot even take a hot shower because the water becomes luke warm if not cold. Thee air conditioners in the room does not drop the temperature either. I put it on 68 degrees and it's never once got down to the temperature. The room are pretty warm. It consistently run's because they don't work. I stayed for a month and was told room service comes every 2 weeks. They came the last week of my stay a day before I had to leave... 24 hour coffee but NEVER any creamer. Not a huge issue but it's a very annoying not knowing weather I'll be able to grab a cup of coffee on my way out to work. You cannot use the outlets beside the bed because it will blow a fuse. The microwave shuts off every now and then and you have to flip the breaker back on. The manager and employees don't want to hear any concerns you may have instead charge you random fees and put you on a due not rent list if you have any issues. I had some issues with the elevator a couple times and it goes to show knowing their certificate is expired. Stay away from the first floor there is a very warm moldy smell almost like a basement and if you look above the baseboards in the hallway you can see there is water damage. I can only imagine that's where the smell is coming from. Please bring your own covers !!!! Their cover is about as thick as a sheet cover. I could probably go on and on but I'm sure we all get the point- please don not wait you time coming to this hotel. There is another WoodSpring Location in Doral that is a little more south but still very inexpensive and nicely kept. Also in Tamarac. Not as nice but the Employees work hard to ensure a great experience.

A Lot of Unfulfilled Potential *Cost-Effective*: I stayed at this hotel for about a week. My family and I rented a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom room, and it was relatively cheap for the time we're staying there; it came up to about $1000 - cost effective. We even bought an air mattress to be full on cheapskates lol. Love how there was room for that. *Dirty Room* (in my experience): I also love how the establishment has a fitness center, has nice views, and is really quite. However, my room was really dirty when I first got it. We couldn't walk barefoot, and at that the floors are very thin, so you can hear damn near every move your upstairs neighbors make. There's also this couch that comes with the room, and as I went to lift it up, beneath the cushion there was trash that wasn't ours; And I believe I seen an insect - I did not look long enough to confirm that. Besides my room, the elevator also had an eerie stench...yikes. *Lobby*: Upon entry, the lobby appears relatively clean and smells good. The staff were also friendly and welcoming. I would recommend going here, maybe not as your first option, but as a safety option - something that's not top tier, but also isn't too shabby.

!!!!!!!!!!! READ. READ READ !!!!!!!!!! WARNING ⚠️ !!!!! First of I want to start by saying I'm not to fond of staying at hotels, but my bf loves to travel and that involves staying at hotels. So far we've never had a bad experience as far as employees who work at the hotels but we had an issue once before with ac breaking while we were at a hotel but the hotel and Expedia quickly fixed that situation. Well Long story short we decided to drive down south to Miramar Florida and stay at there location there after we celebrated the new year's with friends and family. We got in around 130am and left close to 11am..all we did was sleep. I noticed the room had a strong odor of bleach and we had to air out the room. I also noticed that the room was painted recently and I made a comment to my bf how bad of a job they did and how it looks like perhaps it was remodeling needless to say we just went to bed. The next morning got up got ready and left. As we were approaching the front office we noticed the employees talking amongst themselves of an incident that had occur the prior night and cops were called I didn't think anything of it and we just turned in the key and they asked if everything was OK we said yes thank you. Not even 3 hours later we get notified of a extra 250 dollars charge so we quickly called and they said it was a charge because the room was damaged with tape... yes people Tape! We said what no there was nothing like that left in there.. " o yes the maintenance guy saw it" we said ma'am we don't travel with tape in our luggage to just randomly stick in hotel rooms like who does that.!? Well the assistant manager was rude and unprofessional so we asked to speak to someone higher and she wasn't available. We got in contact with Expedia and they tried reaching them and they wouldn't answer. So we started calling and there was still no answer. WHAT HOTEL DOESN'T ANSWER THERE CALLS!? So instantly red flags started waving . Finally someone answered I said I want PROOF OF THIS TAPE she said ok but didn't bother getting our email. We had to call back many times OVER AND OVER till they answer. They would pick up leave u on hold and hang up! Wouldn't give us there names and had excuses for everything we asked for they even said to come back tomorrow as if we live there! We are putting in a dispute with this charge because its Fraud!!!!!!!!! So WARNING ⚠️ DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL or you might end up in a situation like this, but we are not giving up so easily. Time of day: 1/1/24 @4:15 pm is when this incident occurred.. I need corporate or the owner to get in contact with us! 72721689122619 booking #

First I would like to say that I am a Travel Advisor, I stayed one night and overall the building needs a facelift, the walls make everything look dated and low quality, the facility was clearly something else before the current ownership came in. As for my room, it was not clean enough, had a stuffy smell, I stayed in room 323 and the bathroom was not in good condition. the counter was stained and was not clean, the toilet made a loud noise when you flushed it and the wall around the shower head so much water damage... I didn't use it. When I checked out yesterday, I told the front desk about the shower head and I was told that maintenance was coming out(the elevator was also out of order too). The price was too high for a place like this.

I have witnessed how this place has decayed into garbage under the management of Mr. Norman. The elevator has been out of service for over 6 weeks, the hallways are always dirty, the stairs smell like a dog cage, and Mr. Norman (manager) seems to enjoy making threats to the long-term guests over $10.00 balances in their accounts. Mr. Norman Armstrong lacks an understanding of what customer service is about. Save your money and your dignity and spend your time someplace else.

Horrible mold in the a/c fan as well as water leaks/mold in shower area. The room smelled displeasing to say the least. As the saying goes "you get what you pay for." Ended up having to move to another hotel as management wasn't helpful at all in resolving the issues or moving us to another room at the very least. The smell was blamed on "food smell" when checked (we never had food in the room). As far as I'm concerned if food smells like this I'd give up eating.... I can't speak for the rest of the rooms here, but ours was definitely unsafe.

Was by far the worst night of my life wouldn't wish this on enemy. The tv and wifi didn't work. I asked for help they refused to help me. The elevator was broken and I'm handicapped. The a/c seemed to be broken also because the whole night it was blowing hot air. I couldn't sleep. It was good money down the drain.

This hotel is lacking service basic essentials No Ice Machine, very hot im stuffy in hallways, shower head old, mildew, dried up, elevator dropped with my kids inside and it smells like burnt rubber! Had fire dept come out and they said it smelled like Hydrolic fuel. They did nothing said it was fine and they supposedly calling out the Elevator person. They even laughed at me thought it was funny . I'm a disabled Navy Veteran I didn't deserve to be treated this way at all! I paid $117 for 8 nights! Beware has no Breakfast, ice, untensils pretty sad. Better off to stay at the Radisson pay more for quality!

Bout as can be expected. Ive stayed in about 16 ESAs in the past two years, and this one is better than most. Discount prices = discount rooms. Clean, no bugs, no utensils so bring your own or get the walmart special. Everyone is spot on with their reviews of the “smelly” elevator. Smells like a cross between mildew and dirty carpet van water emptying out the truck (if you know what that smells like). Personally, idc because im in there for all of 15 seconds when I used the elevator. If you’re staying long-term in town, this is definitely your budget option, just dont expect high quality service for budget prices.

Shout out to Tejah who works at the front desk with her kind assistance after our ordeal of our vehicle break-in. Poor welcome and anyone who's considering going to this place PLEASE DON'T! There needs to be transparency with details with what offices are in close proximity to this facility. Our vehicle was vandalized and we didn't have the slightest clue of a rehab centre being next door; the clients hang out in the parking lot of this property.

Overall experience was okay. It was what I needed for the time there. Most staff was extremely kind and helpful. Manager seemed a bit bipolar. Sometimes he would speak. Sometimes not. And when he did all but one time he seemed irritated as if the guests mere presence was an irritation. Biggest issue was that the elevator did not work. I was there 45 days and the elevator was in service for only 2 days the entire time. Outside needed to be cleaned and maintained more often. This is a reflection of the guests there more than management but management should ensure the grounds stay clean and trash and trash bags aren't lying around the outside of the building.

I decided to evacuate because of Hurricane Ian. I arrived at this hotel very early and was not allowed to check-in early, understandable. I checkin an hour after allotted checkin time took up my luggage and left. I came back around 7pm. The kids complain of roaches in their room ( I booked 2 rooms) with a slow drain in the tub and no power to the fridge. I notice in my room there was a leak coming from the wall above the window. The front desk stated they were full to capacity and the maintenence worker was not available. I than ask for a refund because no reasonable solution could be reach. I was than told only the general manager have that capability and he would be in 8am tomorrow. I left and stayed with family. I called next morning 8am sharp didn't get no answer. I didn't speak to the general manager until about 10. He didn't listen and was very dismissive as I tried to explain reason for calling. All he heard was leak and stated he will call me back in 15 minutes. I stated you haven't heard my reason for calling. He said I'll call you back in 15 minutes I have to see about the leak and hung up. I was bewildered. It's 4:55 am the next morning and I still haven't received that call. This is the worst hotel experience I've ever encounter in Miramar. I advise all to stay away as you will experience rudeness and a below supar facility. It's not worth your good energy. I now have to dispute with credit card company as I didn't stay one night and general Manger is unable to rectify this situation due lack of competence. Thank God for family and Ian didn't damaged my home or left the area devastated. Continued prayers as it continues to move. DONT STAY HERE!!!!

This is by far the worst hotel ever the whole building smells like mold the elevator is broken it been broke for 5 months now. So I’m order to get to your rooms you have to take the stairs. You have to go downstairs to the front desk to get your own toilet tissue and towels. Which they never have any . It need to shut down expeditiously!! ASAP whoever the owner is needs to be shame of themself.

Employee checked in and paid for a room then the guy at the front said he had no open rooms because the one he had for her available had to be bombed for bugs. He wouldn’t refund her and she never got to stay because of the bugs. Front desk won’t answer our calls for a refund either.

Stayed here for 14days. My room wasn't cleaned throughout, neither were the beddings or towels changed. No cookware, plates or cutlery were available for purchase contrary to what was stated on the hotel website. When I approached the Front Office General Manager about this, he simply asked me to go and purchase all that I needed from Walmart, some distance away. He was very unfriendly and unprepared to help with complaints. No friendly customer face at all. Didn't get value for money.

Really nice rooms, lots of space for storage, especially since I do a lot of gig work and stay at hotels for weeks on end. Super clean and water pressure is AMAZING! Especially after camping for 2 weeks.

Checking process was excellent Daneka services was 10/10, the stay was fine the rooms was somewhat clean sheet had alot of stain, the room hard a weird odor but I purchased air fresheners to make my room smell better, however when checking out I was told I would get my $100 deposit back it’s been over 10 days never received my deposit called to let the representative know attitude was horrible, nonchalant a manager was supposed to reach back out to me no one reached back out the told me they don’t have a cooperate number and this point am furious just want my money back.

Cons - 1st day elevator was broken. My mother who is in her 70s had to walk 4 flights of stairs in the heat. Bathroom was mold and dirty, Some bugs found in bathtub Service for the room was every 2 weeks. It should be done once a week minimum. I asked for accommodations for a longer stay. I was declined and then hotel said the price would be more than 20% due to a concert taking place In town. My sheets had some type of blood stain or food red color dye. Customers have to service themselves. Key cards didnt work at all times Vending machine took my money. Pros - very nice friendly staff Large refrigerator Large tv with lots of channels. Easy parking. Nice view of a lake. Great air conditioner. Friendly price. Overall- hotel is great for short stay only. Hotel is not great for long stay overall. 2/5 is very fair!

  • 4/5 Viktor S. 1 year ago on Google
A good hotel or the price; Extended stays result in the following - no housekeeping - have to take care of your garbage (take it to the dumpster) -have to request towels and soap downstairs Beside that, it is a good hotel, not the nicest looking, but it is definitely worth the price. The staff are nice and enforce rules about noise levels, although one group of people were being super noisy every night at 4 am. It is also in a really good spot, unless you plan on going to Miami a lot. Hard rock stadium is >10 min drive. Recommend this hotel if you’re in a budget, if not then go for something a little fancier.
