worst service ever, horrible hotel. I made my reservation at the hotel, they told me that my room would be ready, a day before I received an email indicating the room number and they confirmed that everything was ready. I arrived at the hotel and to my surprise the room was closed, I contacted the reception number and nobody answered, I had to stay outside waiting with my children, so after a couple hours waiting oitside (because i was with 2 kids, and many suitcases) a maintenance employee gave us a totally dirty room , with the bed unmade, the towels on the floor. I had no choice but to stay in that room because our children were tired. Totally disappointed and after that horrible experience the manager didn't even give us an apology. I would give this place zero start.

Don’t stay. The whole room was humid and smelled moldy. During the midnight I was terribly bitten by the bed bugs in my arms and legs!!

DONT STAY HERE!!! I stayed in one of their rooms. I got there at 10am and wasn't allowed check into my room until 3pm. My room was crawling with ants, they were everywhere. All over the food, under and in the sink crawling out and onto the counter. Up in the cupboards, on the table. I had to check out early to go back home and they said they would pay back for the nights I didn't stay there but I had booked. It's been over a month of calling them and they keep saying it's a problem with their accounting. Now they won't answer the phone. They still owe me like $300. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

It’s a scam. Don’t stay here. Booked through Groupon. We never even got to stay in the hotel. We showed up on Monday night after a long, tiring flight and no one was at the office to help us get checked in. We called, knocked, and waited for 30 minutes before a GUEST at the hotel came out of a room to tell us that no one is working there tonight. We even called while on our way to the facility to let them know we would be arriving soon, no answer. We ended up having to book at a hotel down the street. Next day I called to try to get a refund, the front desk person took my info and said if I contacted Groupon they would get started with the refund. I did that and Groupon contacted me back and told me that the manager said the room had been used. How would we have even gotten inside the room if no one was there to check us in? They’re supposed to have every check-in on record so there’s no way someone checked in under my name because the only other person who knew about my reservation was with me. I want my money back.

The Ocean Inn is simply the best location for the money you could reasonably expect to find on the coast of Florida. This is an old school independent hotel with 11 rooms. Only a few have a view of the water, but that is a small price to pay. It is a two-minute walk from the entrance of the Ocean Inn courtyard until you cross the Hollywood Broadwalk and are on the beach. Walk north along the beautiful beach, past the city park and to the pier. Walk south past the pubs, gift shops and restaurants. The hotel is mid-century quaint. The rooms are each decorated differently. Our room was clean and the bed was good. The courtyard was a real joy with shade and a family of iguanas in the trees to watch. (Don't worry, they will not get close to you.) All of this for $150 / night including parking is unbeatable in the area. But PLEASE stay somewhere else so that my room will be available!

If you're looking for a fancy place with all the frills this is not the place for you. I love this place. Phillip was awesome. My room was perfect. Big super comfortable bed, mini fridge with freezer and microwave. Less than 1 regular size street block from the beach. The very tiny property has plenty shade with a hammock and sitting area to sit and eat with your family. I came alone and my kids live nearby and visited me.

Booked for my niece which flew in town 7/5-7/7. Paid in full and the hotel was closed when she arrived. We called the day before to ask a few questions and they were closed too. No one called nor emailed her to cancel or refund her money. This was the worse hotel ever. We still haven't heard from anyone from Ocean Inn. We tried calling the hotel several times and no matter what number option we press it hangs up. 1 star is too much. Not worthy of any stars.

We stayed there for 5 days in June for about $400 total. Probably this was once a really cool place to stay. The price for what you get is pretty amazing; You have a place close to the beach and Broadwalk (not boardwalk) in Hollywood. The add states they have bikes for the guests and chairs and umbrellas. I was told the bikes there were owned by the residents so there was no bikes. The chairs were these flimsy chairs you get at the dollar store for $8. So that felt a little false to me. The other residents mostly felt like they paid monthly. It did not appear there was anyone else staying in this establishment on vacation. The rooms were not serviced and there was a sign in the bathroom that says they service the rooms weekly. But the maid was very nice. She did give us towels and take our garbage when we asked. We never saw anyone in the office. The furniture was older. You had to hold down the handle to flush. There was an issue about parking, it will cost you $10 a day. Would I stay there again? Probably not, but the price was good.

A quaint little inn hidden among the bigger and more luxurious hotels in the Hollywood Beach area. No frills. Comfy bed, fridge and microwave in the room. Great location just steps from the beach. Close by restaurants and a small grocer. A great inexpensive place to stay if you want to stay near the beach.

The staff was SO nice and the proximity to the beach was awesome!!!! But unfortunately, the location need some TLC. We had a serious clog in our sink and tub, there was also bugs.... a lot of little bugs. couldn’t get a refund since I booked thru groupon. I could get through a night with the clogs but not the bugs.

So I have stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The first two nights were very pleasant. Said when I come back into town I will stay here again. So on a return trip to the area, I booked my hotel as I had before. Parking is limited I get it, and I do drive a 26 ft box truck. Due to lack of space on the street, I parked my truck on the side of hotel and was threatened to be towed, asked for more money than the previous stay for parking etc. then I was told that my truck wasn’t allowed. However upon my arrival for the first trip an officer actually helped me to park in the area which I did, so obviously the statement about my truck not being allowed was untrue. It’s a 2 axle box truck not a 53ft transfer trailer. I really liked this area and the hotel was pleasant but Veronica is a β€œKaren” and she is paid (per the locals) if she calls the tow company and have your car towed.

This is a zero star hotel. It is filthy, has peeling paint on the walls, no carpeting so sand is on the dirty floor. There are loud people on the second floor and I was awakened to beer bottles being thrown with sharp shards of glass that was not cleaned up in the morning. The toilet is pediatric and was filthy with dirty , broken caulk. The door is dirty and has poor seals so it does not feel safe. If you care about your significant other do not bring them there. See pictures for proof.

Amazing. Every time I visit Hollywood, Fl. I stay at Ocean Inn. It is so clean and comfortable. The staff goes above and beyond . If it was possible, I'd give more than 5 stars. And it is so close to the beach. No need for a wave machine to fall asleep, just open the windows.,....πŸ˜ŠπŸ†πŸ‘πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ’œπŸŒ΄πŸŒ΄πŸπŸβ›΅β›΅πŸŒŠπŸŒŠπŸ†βŒβ•πŸ†πŸ‘πŸ˜Š

Nobody was there to let us in to the room. We told them ahead of time that we would be arriving after hours and they said they would leave the room open for us, but they lied, it was definitely locked. Nobody would pick up the phone so there was nothing we could do. We just left. Came back the next day to complain and get a refund but nobody was there. Tried calling, but nobody picked up (the same management has another hotel up the street and they pick up but they can't help with anything). I booked this through Expedia, and they wouldn't help either so I just cancelled through my credit card. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Terrible experience dealing with this MOTEL. Unfortunately had a reservation the day the Fort Lauderdale airport was completely shut down due to the extreme flooding throughout the area. My flight was canceled, and I had reached out inquiring about a refund. I understand there's a no refund policy - but come on, it wasn't like I missed my flight. The runway was basically a lake and nobody was getting in or out of the city. But I receive no answer to my email. And then I emailed a second time asking for my $20 parking pass I paid for to at least be refunded. No answer. It took a 3rd email harshly criticizing their customer service for them to FINALLY refund my parking fee and offer an $88 hotel credit (even though I paid $135) that can be used within a year. I have no plans to return to this area let alone this motel within the year, so that's completely useless to me. I'd highly recommend a name brand hotel who values your loyalty and business. Not the Ocean Inn where once you pay, they don't care about you.

We went on a short stay in the last weekend of October 2021. It was such a pleasure to have Evie, from the main office, help us with anything that we needed. The hotel was very cleaned, great placement , very close to the beach. Evie directed us to locations where to eat, where to sight see. Very friendly service. Lovely place to relax, privately. Definitely will be back again.

When we checked in, No one was there so we had to call a phone number to find out what was going on. We were given a room number to go to, which was unlocked and the keys were inside. The TV stand was held up by a 2 x 6 piece of lumber under one side to make up for the missing casters. The bed made a clunking sound when you sat on it. We stayed just long enough to use the wifi to book a different hotel.

They will try to pull a fast one on you so don’t be tricked by the smile and no matter how nice you be plus I’m still itching from being in one of the rooms ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Very happy great amazing customer service. The room had everything you need. For a smaller hotel it was very cozy. Boardwalk and Beach and everything over here was wonderful" we look forward to coming and visit again.

My partner and I like this place, it's close to the beach and it's clean, nothing fancy, friendly people, I didn't like the bed the first time but they have been improving. We like the patio and I celebrated my birthday with some friends last year.

What a marvelous find! I will be staying at this cozy and quaint inn every single visit to Hollywood Beach! I am amazed that such a place exist. The prices are more than reasonable for the area and the rooms are so comfy. Being a New England, Newport Beach (RhodeIsland) native I truly appreciate and feel at home when I stay here. The contactless check in with a note taped to the office with my name was super cute and original. I can't express how hospitable and accommodating the staff and owners are. Hard to find places like this now a days. I would not want to stay anywhere else when visiting the Hollywood Area! Absolutely love Ocean Inn β€οΈπŸ™πŸΌπŸ₯°

This a a dump motel! The bath towels, washcloths, all the linens and pillowcases were covered in stains. They had the nerve to roll the wash clothes when they were gray in color. The tv remote was dirty and sticky. The tv volume button didn’t work. I was so glad I brought my own towel and washcloth! There is no one in the office and they don’t answer the office phone or respond to emails. There was another guest who was looking for someone at the office and they said, the office has been closed for days. I saw a posting in one of the windows that listed this micro studio for $2,500/month. The only highlight about this property is the beach is a block away. Do not stay here!
