The staff is absolutely unprofessional. A guy who poses as security would follow my boyfriend and I around at night or reference places we went and say he was watching through the cameras. We weren’t able to sit at any outside areas without being made to feel uncomfortable. Intentionally. When confronting the front desk, the associate will be texting and make you wait for her to finish. Not to mention the whole place is filthy. They don’t clean behind the toilets or repair holes in the walls, and their laundry facility smells moldy. Trust me I was only here out of necessity, all the windows are gravesites to thousands of dead flies. If they’re not blatantly making you feel like an inconvenience you’re probably at a different hotel. Don’t overpay for this. There’s plenty of locations surrounding. Richards Hotel, Richards Motel and the Green Seas is all the same company so take my advice and look elsewhere.

Horrible , the price for a nightly room is unacceptable . You got junkies running the front office . The room is clean , until you see stains on your bed sheets , the door lock is loose , someone can kick the door down anytime while your gone . $100 a night is outrageous . The African American woman with the braces had some trouble look straight forward at me , kept twitching her head as if she was on some. Never again .

Room was dirty with bad smell. There were long black hair on the provided Towels (I'm blond). Restroom is so tiny you can't even sit on the toilet because the wall is to close. Pool is dirty. No shampoo and conditioner, just soap. Never come back again. Two stars only for local adorable cat

Jason it's your wife, I snuck on here to tell you and anyone reading this how great greatful I am to still be married to my best friend after at the end of the month 26 years! We've been together a total of 30 now! We stayed at Richard's Hotel Last night and you reminded me ( More than Once 😀 ❤️ 😍 ) How lucky we are to have each other, I've always had your back and you never fail me, it may not always be a perfect love but it's OURS and NOBODY can or will ever change that! Ours is a love story written in the stars many moons ago and it's my belief that I chose you over and over again threw out our many lifetimes together! Thanks to the Lovely English/ Irish ( I'm sry I'm horrible at accents!) Man who checked us in and made us smile , to the very best mix of people for us to people watch with, and the U.F.O you swore you saw at 4 in the morning!!! I love you so much baby, I can't wait to rewrite this in 30 more years!

Room is fine but The Hispanic guy that does Security and works In the office (also has a room there) Is Very Rude and Nosy. He follows ppl around & Listens to conversations. He has a Very aggressive, arrogant demeanor. Also, he does things that seems illegal & Wrong. One night, I overheard him tell someone that he doesn't pay full price for the room his Gf has & that he knows how to put in the computer so it looks like the room is paid in full). Completely Wrong. If he works there or Not, everyone should pay the full price & he should Not be doing that. Would been a better experience but he made things very uncomfortable. The owner & head manager needs to be aware of this activity!!!!

They claim to be pet friendly but they are not. I have a quiet 20 lb dog well trained and was denied a room. Very unhelpful as well. Please don’t waste your time. Go elsewhere.

The bedroom and bathroom were leaking water from the ceiling, the tv the image was all blurry and the bath towels looked like rags.

This hotel got booked very last minute the bed was decently comfortable for a motel and the room was clean. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Thank you especially Tyler.

Centrally located, very affordable but don't expect any frills. You'll get a room with a bed. Shower pressure is very weak, the knobs were in need of being tightened. Took a lot of messing with the knob to get the hot water on. The window from the shower faced the common area hallway and most of the privacy film was pretty much gone so anyone who walked by could see you if they noticed. TV channels were a bit in and out. I was only there for a night so it served its purpose for me as a place to sleep.

Sleep in your car if you have to. That place is horrible. We got sick through the ventilation. It's nasty. The places all like 1937. I wouldn't wish that place on my worst enemy sleep in your car. If you have to do not check into that place, find someplace else and they would not offer you a refund. They like to steal your money

Mr Robinson I called October 2 to get a price for the weekend oct7&8and the gentleman that was on was very rude and could not explain with out getting a attitude.So I would not tell anyone Togo there.Need to teach your front desk how to to address the customers.

Run down...Room have an old outdated feel. Linen is raggedy and falling apart. Stairways carpet has a stench. Wifi doesn't work. Location is good.

Richard’s Hotel was a surprise find. This is not one hotel, but a collection of hotels and motels all within a couple block radius. I approached this like an experience: classic south Florida Motel architecture, several beautiful pools, great hospitality and super clean rooms. I booked it through hotels.com, but they are cash only on property. There is a 50 deposit in cash, which you receive on departure (preferred to waiting a week with a CC.) Check in time takes a little longer, as deposit envelope and ticket, registration form, and registration card are all hand-filled-I found it quaint. Is Richard’s perfect, by no means? But it is a clean, comfortable, and unique Hollywood, Fla experience. Be sure to check out the Boardwalk in Hollywood.

This is a nice get a way for weekends. They offer weekly stays starting at 399 for first week and 432 for second week. It has complimentary patio, access to pools, washer and dryers on site for $2.50 each. The only thing I don’t like is after 2 weeks you have to leave the property and if u get weekly stay they only clean the rooms one time and if your a person like me with sensitive skin it’s seems to always be a problem changing bed spreads when they do laundry everyday

I've had the pleasure of staying at Richards Hotel for several weeks on and off here and there so far and it has quickly become one of my favorite places to stay in the Miami area 😍. The hotel is part of a group of properties that are connected, and I have also stayed at the Green Seas Motel 🏨. Nevertheless, Richards Hotel stands out for its exceptional value 💰, safety 🔒, quietness 🤫, and relaxing environment 🌴. I initially found it through an online booking, but I have since discovered that walking up to the hotel's windows can yield better rates 💸. The hotel boasts several pools ‍🏊‍♀️, and its ambiance is especially lovely at night 🌃. I have stayed in different rooms 🛌, including those on the Wiley St Side, both inside and outside, and on upper and lower levels. The rooms come in different sizes and styles, with unique amenities in some. If you have any specific requests or concerns, the hotel staff is always willing to assist, as long as it is feasible ‍👨‍💼. What I appreciate about this hotel is its intolerance for rowdy behavior 🙅‍♀️. If you come to party or create a disturbance, they will ask you to leave. Additionally, smoking is not allowed on the property, which is fantastic because it keeps the rooms smelling fresh 🚭. The beds are hit or miss, depending on the room, but if anything is amiss, talking to the front desk usually resolves the issue 🛎️. The hotel provides two bars of soap 🧼, but no shampoo or conditioner. However, nearby stores like Family Dollar, el Presidente, CVS, or the European Market offer quick and convenient solutions 🛍️. I recommend using the CVS app and coupons for the best deals 💳. If you require fresh towels 🛁, hang the door hanger early in the morning, and the housekeeping staff will replace them. There are self-service coin-operated washing machines and dryers, which are quite effective 💦. The bathrooms mostly have stand-up showers 🚿, which I think are perfect for this property. They have excellent water pressure and hot showers 🚿. The vending machines are air-conditioned, which is a nice touch ❄️. The hotel does not have many parking spaces 🅿️, so it fills up quickly when there is an event 🚗. However, more parking is available on the alley between Richards Hotel and Green Seas Motel or on the street side of Wiley St. The hotel is located on the bus line 🚍, and an all-day pass costs about $5. Additionally, a Circuit shuttle runs from Richards Hotel, and you can download the app for only $2 📱. One thing to note is that the hotel requires a $50 cash deposit for the key 🔑, which you must return upon checking out. Check-out time is 11 AM, and the hotel does not offer late checkouts. There is no breakfast at the hotel, but Senor Cafe across the street serves breakfast all day, and there are many other options nearby 🍳. Overall, Richards Hotel offers excellent value for anyone visiting the Hollywood/Hallandale area 🌴. It is a hidden gem that only a few people know about, but it is definitely worth staying there 🌟. You can find the best deals on Expedia, Booking, and other online platforms, especially later in the day 🌅. I'm glad I found his properties and I'm sure that you'll enjoy the value they bring to you and your family 👪.

This place is nasty, management is completely unreasonable and rude, there is absolutely no internet Wifi (I had better connection in my car in the parking than in the room) disgusting, roaches, bedbugs and you will feel sick the entire time from bacteria growing in their rooms

Used to bea a great place to stay. I left for work and forgot my pack of cigarettes so they instantly tried to say I was smoking in the room. They rented me a room with no key for a discount and was then trying to say I lost the key. They kept my deposit and tried to say they are charging me extra. Luckily I don't have a card they can charge and ill tell people never go here. They have broken hot water, cockroaches, normally so nice but turned really ugly really fast

Cute little place. A little run down. But ok for the cheap one night stay waiting on a morning flight. Can walk to stores to get food and drinks. Beds are comfy but noisy. Room was clean. TV is little. Smells like pot.

Bathowels are not presentable, same as sheets that were used on the bed. Completely different sheets even had cockroaches in the room.

Watch out! Front desk's professionalism is a toss in the air. 50-50 chance you will get what you deserve so be careful how to deal with the people at the desk. Can come across helpful or highly sarcastic and phenomenally condescending. Think Mr. Fawlty from Fawlty Towers - FOR REAL! LOL

First off false advertising of a guitar hotel which not them.. this picture is of hard rock guit6cadono hotel . Richards is a motel pest 🪳🦟 friendly rooms. Full of cockroaches even in the microwave.. ordered 🍕 n left the rest in microwave thinking it would be fine only to go back to seeing 🪳 having a party.. Was disgusting..Had to throw away the rest of pizza I ordered.. money WASTED.. BAD ROOM SERVICE.. THE HOUSE KEEPER WILL WALK IN ON YOU IF DOIR NOT ANSWER ON THIER TIMING.. SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE I WAS UT NAKED TRYING TO GET OUT SHOWER WHEN SHE BARGED IN .. UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE N RUDE ASWELL..HE GIVES THE BEST ROOM TO THE CANADIANS AS USUAL..WHILE THE POORER CLASS PEOPLE WHO RENT ALL YESR ROUND GET TREATED LIKE💩🤮 ..ROOMS ALWAYS HAVE MOULDY SMELL ..Ac don't work or heater for warmth.. I think the guy who was at the front desk with the long hair was very intelligent and helpful, he was so polite and explained everything to me perfectly 😊 he was very kind and professional! The room was very nice and clean, but the only thing I didn't like was the TV it had no cable or Netflix but other than that I slept well! It was nice and quiet and I absolutely enjoyed my night

Very poor experience was not what was advertised on website. Been trying to reach a manager for 11 days and still getting same response to call back in 30 min. This place does not care about people’s experience at all it’s all about money. We we booked for two beds and when we arrived we were giving room with one bed. Then told we would have to pay an upgrade fee. Sink in bathroom did not work shower was awful. And we left room twice to get items from car and both times were offered drugs. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless you do drigs and want to hide. Honestly for not much more you can go stay at a real hotel. My wife is so angry we left very next morning and they refuse to refund for nights we did not stay. Honestly we are going to push this as far as we have to so hopefully they refund us. It’s not that we need the money it’s that there charging people and falsely advertising. Those good reviews are bogus. There’s more about the staff I have learned but that will come out when I hire an attorney. I will spend whatever to get money back and the more they refuse then the more I will release publicly. This place is not for families.the manager Sara or at least that’s the name I was given today is always on phone or busy and I’m asked to call back and every time I do never get to speak to her. These people are crooks and are purposely not replying or returning my calls.i would like to also add I booked threw exspedia who have made several attempts to reach hotel and same there getting run around. I book threw exspedia a lot and have no complaints with them but again for Richard’s motel not to respond to exspedia tells you something. Never book at this hotel.
