Place really went downhill. The absolute worst customer service you will ever deal with! Used to stay here every time I traveled to south Florida on business which is often but will never stay here again. I really gave them a lot of chances, stayed here probably ten times before giving up so trust me, stay somewhere else! First of all, you need to request your room to be cleaned through an app which could take two days to actually get somewhere there, and sometimes they don’t show up in the end (they will not take the request at the front desk) Pretty much everything needs to be done through this terrible app. If you need something for your room, fresh towels, you need to reschedule or extend your stay, or ask for any accommodations you will struggle to have your needs met. Basically they try to run a hotel with an offshore team in the Philippines, which might work for customer service for a big corporation like Amazon, but not when it comes to a hotel. Hospitality simply can not be done from across seas. You shouldn’t have to use an app 24 hours in advance to get a roll of toilet paper! It is simply mind blowing. For a customer that stayed here probably ten times because of the convenient location before finally throwing up my hands, trust me that they do not have customer service / hospitality in mind. You are just a number and you will feel like it as soon as you need a tissue or a towel or something lol.

BEWARE!!!! I don’t know who they paid to make great reviews but this hotel is the worst I’ve ever came in contact with! We booked ahead online and everything was confirmed! I went to the app and posted the ID they asked for. The DAY before our reservation, they denied us the room! Flight already paid for and everything. I called and asked why. They said we can’t tell you why but we can’t approve the stay!!! No explanation for why they would deny us the day before after we paid for a room! We are BLACK for one, and I can’t think of any other reason why we would be denied. I am a current medical student with a PHD post doc. We both are not security threats! Yet, they still denied us with no real explanation! Do not book here! This hotel is a disgrace. How dare you ask for photos of your guest before accepting or denying their stay? Sounds like complete discrimination ! I hope no one else goes through this so I am warning all to not book here !

The hotel has a nice concept of doing everything through an app which I found very interesting and the fact that I could talk to someone or request something at any time was convenient because I was out the hotel all day. However, the people are the front desk are very rude, they are always on their phone doing personal calls instead of helping the guests, the rooms don’t have microwave which is rare to me there is only one available at the front door and is small for whole building. Another thing that I found very odd was that it was an extra charge for cleaning the room (which is something basic). If im paying a hotel is not just for the bed is also for the service or I would have stayed at home. Something that also bother me was the parking, charging $30 for valet parking when I can park my own car. I think the charge for night is very expensive for me not receive the basic accommodation in a hotel. The pool area could use a cleaning too. I would never stay at this hotel again even if is for free.

DO NOT BOOK ******* I would therefore give this location a -0 if I could. I haven't heard from the hotel's manager about my room stay even though I've been away for more than a week. The room needed cleaning the day we arrived, and the balcony was disgustingly filthy. This was obviously not a $400 project. I had a lot of expectations for this property. LET'S GET TO THE A/C NOW, IT COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING EVERY DAY I SPENT 3 NIGHTS THERE. They arrived to fix it at an inconvenient time for the prior plans made upon arriving in Florida. They recommend an uncomfortable REFUND charge of $80 for sleeping in their allegedly high-class room with balcony, for which I paid about $400 for , Again, there has been no air conditioning for three days, and this is in Florida at the end of summer. I have called 6 times, requesting a manager, but all they have to say is that someone will call back, without providing an estimated time frame. THEN ARRIVING AT THIS HOTEL , Since hardly everyone working in parking speaks SPANISH, be ready for them to attempt and charge you more. If you park your car across the street from the hotel, they will tow it or you will receive the sticker. I mentioned above because it costs $20 to $30 per night and wasn't included in your original reservation. In the period between September 15 and September 18, roughly 6 to 8 people who had parked close to the white fence emerged with stickers on their cars. The hotel's reaction to each of them was that it was outside its control and that it couldn't be helped, though it did offer the alternative of self-parking. SO if you choose to stay here be sure to have cash for parking do not use your card. I WILL NEVER BOOK THIS PLACE AGAIN, AS IT IS VERY SAD. AND I AM STILL AWAITING MY MONEY.

Hotel inside is nice but lacks basic things for a hotel of this price and the category they mention they are. Booking through 3rd party is a headache with them because they make you confirm everything. The only option for parking is $30 daily valet or paid parking meters 1 or 2 blocks away which is very inconvenient if you have bags or when coming in and out of the hotel. Also housekeeping is only done at the end of your stay and if you need your room cleaned before its a $75 fee. Staff is fairly friendly.

Clean rooms and the pool on the condominium side of the building was great, especially that the hotel’s pool was closed. Expect to pay $30 for overnight parking or you can park on the street. It was interesting to see that they would charge for requesting room cleaning, a basic in most other hotels. Overall, it was a good stay. But can’t really give 5 stars.

WOW JUST WOW, I loved my stay, the room was spacious, modern and clean. Overall the staff was very helpful, they made my stay enjoyable. I like the fact you could contact the hotel via chat on the app at anytime. And also With valet you let them know with a text message you would like the vehicle, and within 5 minutes they notify you the car is ready. The amenities were great and the place was peaceful. Away from the craziness in Miami. We also Enjoyed having the publix connected, we didn’t have to go far for groceries. The food from the restaurant located inside the building was amazing. They are only open from 5-10pm though, same time frame as the rooftop restaurant. We will be coming back and thank you Sonder for making our stay memorable.

Terrible. Problems from reservations onward. No staff on site, very noisy, no way to contact front desk. People next door were having violent screaming argument. Room appeared in good order, but some lights and outlets did not work properly. And worse, there were roaches in the bathroom ( on 7th floor!) It did not feel like anyone was paying attention to what was going on. Actually did not feel safe. Called Sonder phone number, was put on hold forever. Quit trying. The whole system of running things off site is a failure. Will never stay here or at any Sonder again.

If you want a warm greeting and smiles, expand your options. As 2 very young successful brokers, I was very surprised to see how my girlfriend and I were treated. We booked a balcony suite for our short business trip and if it wasn’t too late, I would’ve taken every penny back. Valet guys are awesome and very helpful (which got my star) but unfortunately we can’t expect that same energy from everybody. You HAVE to use the valet because you cannot park in the public parking garages or the streets overnight. I don’t know if it’s the baby face or that we look homeless from our travels… but apparently we have some growing up to do lmao. Good luck to everybody else though. We hope you all have better experiences! P.S. Learn how to use their equipment. They laughed at me when I was struggling to push all my luggage on the cart. Super embarrassing in front of the person I try to impress most…

I was in Hollywood on business, not vacation. therefore chose this hotel as it is further from the coast, but it was my mistake. There are many reviews about various circumstances here, I will tell you about my impressions. There is no parking (I was warned, so I found one nearby for not much money), the room is for two people, but it is so small that it is difficult to call it a room. The furniture is old and scratched. The refrigerator barely worked. The air conditioner was making noise in my room, I asked for it to be fixed, to which I was assured that it would be done. The same day I returned late in the evening, at first it seemed that everything was fine, but it turned out that they simply reduced the fan speed, I increased the speed and the air conditioner continued to make sounds. It's good that I have experience in air conditioners and I opened it and quickly fixed what they couldn't (the previous repair was done simply because they put a piece of paper under the motor)

In general, the hotel is clean and in a good location. But I was disappointed: 1. there is no microwave in the rooms. I went down to the reception to ask if they had a microwave, but they told me that they only had three and they were all already taken. There was a microwave in the cafeteria but they refused to warm up my food in it. 2. The pool on the 12th floor is very small and the water in it was cloudy with the smell of soap.

Stayed there for 5 days, girl at front desk was very helpful and sweet. Rooms were good, very clean, Ac worked great but pillows were awful. Very convenient to have coffee shop connected, walgreens and publix only a few minute walk. Olivia restaurant was great, very good food with great service. We didn’t get the cleaning service through our stay but seemed convenient enough. I wouldn’t want to be walking around by myself at night though in the area, a little sketchy. Walls were a little thin so can sometimes hear the connecting room. Loved the room key connected to our phone and liked how organized the app is with information. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location. Close to Publix, Arts Park, and Hollywood Blvd. We used the 4 northbound bus to get to the beach in about 15min during our stay. Really nice fitness center and restaurant/bar. Bathrooms in the rooms are really nice but the sheets on the beds felt really cheap. Rooftop pool isn’t as nice as people are saying, a lot of the furniture had stains on them. Other complaints we had were that the room didn’t have a microwave which is normally pretty standard. The keypads to rooms were also very worn so they’re hard to read and the hallways had scratches and scuffs everywhere including near all the latches of the room doors on our floor.

Stayed in this hotel on my most recent business trip- it was a great experience! Contactless check in and out, easy access to restaurants and bars, a fantastic rooftop bar, pool and view! The room was very clean, big and luxury. The only critique is that it did not state whether or not I would have to pay for parking and ended up paying $30+ a day to valet my car. Worth it, though!

I don't have enough compliments to describe the satisfaction I have with this gem of a boutique hotel. In the heart of Hollywood, Sonder/Circ has enough to offer a surfer like me who enjoys the beach but doesn't want the hustle and crowds of South Beach. This hotel is for the grown and sexy. I won't stay anywhere else when I'm visiting South Beach.

I Put a 1 to be able to make this review because it deserves 0, me and my boyfriend had a full weekend planned, download the APP they gave, scanned ID and confirmation card, (before all that we had to call to get a confirmation number because they “FORGOT” to provide with one) after a couple of minutes turns out our account got “flagged” and they canceled the reservation and that was a final decision with no further explanation from the customer service over the phone. We are still waiting for a refund. Please do not book with this hotel if you want your vacation to turn into a nightmare.

The staff at this hotel is nice. I love the rooftop restaurant as the view is mesmerizing and there is a fancy restaurant on the 1st floor. There is a publix accessible through the hotel and quaint cafe with fancy treats. The ambiance has a feel of condos. You would enjoy it. Check it out.

Sonder is onto something unique for sure! The two things about this Sonder location that we wished they had was room service and a TV in the living room as we were in a one bedroom King Suite with Balcony. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and courteous. Jill made sure our stay was top notch! We did opt for valet which was a breeze to use, and the entire remote capability was actually enjoyable. I was able to do our laundry the night before we left in our room as well- so that made the return home so much more enjoyable not having to tend to cleaning straight away. We would definitely stay at another Sonder!

So I had to do a staycation due to my building having no power for the day. I’m glad that I had this hotel in mind. From the moment I walked in I was good. The agent was super friendly and helpful. My check in was right on time and while I waited I was taking a swim on the rooftop pool. I’d definitely return for another stay. Even if I did have power at my place. Thank you to the Circ Hotel

  • 5/5 Tamika G. 6 months ago on Google
This hotel gave exceptional service, very inexpensive, and the valet fee is still very competitive with it comes to other hotels. When we first arrived I was concerned about the dust and small debris on the floor. So I sent in my concerns and it was resolved immediately. The pool area is not the most cleanest but it still seems to be much more relaxing than others. Also if you’re starting for long period the refrigerator is tiny, so you won’t be able to store much food. Great great location…central location between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. The Circ Hotel is definitely a place we would stay again!♥️♥️♥️

My sister booked a room for me to stay while visiting her, and I am very pleased with this hotel! I want to highlight that the rooms are nice, the area is very walkable, and thanks to the front desk, Shai, I save so much money by using the electric shuttles in the city. The coffee shop was overpriced but very good! I didn’t try the food, but the drinks at the Olivia restaurant were excellent, and the bartender was charming. It was annoying that there were no phones in the rooms, but I could always come down to the front desk in the morning to get everything I needed. It took a bit of time to get my lights fixed, but I’m still content with my stay and will definitely be coming back. My only suggestions are to have people working at night; it’s always a ghost town in the lobby besides the restaurant. Also, to fix up the pool area, maybe have some music and pool floatys for guests! Again can’t wait to come back!

Terrible customer service. They do not want to hear from guests at all. You cannot call the front desk instead you have to a customer service department in Massachusetts. There is rarely anyone at the front desk anyway and when you do talk to them, they sound like they don't want to be there. She said I could text the front desk if I needed anything, they never reply to texts. This place is a disgrace. Also, the beds are like hammocks, didn't sleep a wink. Save your peace of mind and your back and stay somewhere else.

This was a great hotel experience! Super clean and modern room with everything you need! Great view, great location in the midst of downtown Hollywood. Valet service was exemplary. The fact that you could conduct car request with text was awesome. Will recommend to anyone going to The Hardrock Casino, as it is an easy drive and you save HUNDREDS on a really nice room.

This hotel is located in a great spot. 7 Minutes away from hollywood Beach, 39 minutes away from Miami beach. We visited multiple beaches from this hotel. Most nights we went walking to have dinner at nearby restaurants. The service here was good. They offer dining at the lobby and upstairs at the 12th floor. They do have a pool, decent size. They have a gym which I visited once, I personally don't enjoy small gyms but it'll get the job done. The rooms were beautiful, I added a few pics. The bathroom was amazing! Loved the shower, I didn't take a picture but I'm sure someone did. Parking can be pricey here, $30 per night can add up, but we loved knowing our vehicle was safe, and the valet were amazing. I personally will be back and would recommend this place to anyone. If this review helped, please give me a 👍.

We are currently staying at the hotel and I must say that we are fairly disappointed. The room is okay. Staff as well. We tried to request beach towels for 2 days in a row without any luck, so we just ended up using the room once. Everything is supposed to be handled via an app, but it just does not deliver. Calling down to a reception is way easier. Apparently there is a teen madness going on while we booked our room. So hearing parties next door is nothing weird here. It sounds like the rooms are literally separated by a piece of paper, we can follow conversations and other things at night. The bar at the roof was closed. Cleaning 1 every 3 days but can be booked via the app. Overall not worth the almost 170 USD per night, but I guess the spring week is driving the prices up crazy. Overall If you spend anything above 100usd per night, you will be disappointed.

If you ever decide to stay in Hollywood Florida, avoid Sonder Circ hotel. No parking at all.. you have to pay $30 per night for valet parking per car. They don’t tell you about this when you book your stay online or on the app. Also, the rooms are nowhere near as nice as what is shown online. Any kind of requests or customer service is done though an app. Finally, you have to pay a fee if you want your room cleaned. 1/5

I really enjoyed a solo vacation here. Desk clerk, Shy, is a great ambassador for Hollywood, FL. She was extremely helpful in recommendations especially ways to get around. I won't need to waste money on a car rental o my next visit because of the creative transportation options in the area. The rooms could get five stars from me if they only had a small microwave. The only negative was a slight sweaty odor on the bedding, even after spraying down with alcohol, which I do at every hotel I visit. It may help to wash everything down to the mattress cover and add pillow covers that are washed often. Other than that, it's a great place to stay.

Very nice hotel for the price and location! There is a Publix within walking distance & some food and shops— and a nice little park in a big round about. Rooftop pool is well maintained and fun! Interesting lighting and modern feel to the room.

I didn't know what to expect when choosing a hotel that provided services via an app BUT I am thoroughly impressed with The Circ. Upon entering the building, I was greeted by staff and walked into an oasis of lavender/vanilla scented scents. Check in was done online. Access to the room could be used via an assigned code or using the mobile app. Housekeeping services isn't provided daily however there is an option to request services through their app (which we used a couple of times). We didn't have any issues with our requests being completed in a timely manner. Response time was quick and efficient. There is a snack machine available in the lobby as well as ice machine on each floor. Our room was just as it appeared on their site. The room was cool upon entry. Clean, modern bathroom, coffee/tea maker, flat TV, and queen size bed. Their rooftop pool was a nice place to unwind. I didn't visit the fitness center as I knew I wouldn't be working out lol The Circ is close proximity to Publix, Walgreen's and a host of dining establishments within walking distance. The only con is only valet parking is available for $30/day which can get pricey if you're here for several days. If ever I'm in Hollywood, I would stay here again with no hesitation.

The location of the hotel is noisy, beware of the bus stop below constantly beeping. The bed is not comfortable. If the room is ready guest should allow guest to go into their room early without having to pay instead of encouraging guest to hangout in the lobby at 4pm. The modern look of the hotel is very nice and the lobby smells good. Parking was only valet too expensive. They have a kitchen with nothing but a cutting board in the suite.

Great hotel inside. You can have breakfast not included. Fully renovated with many technological updates, a modern bathroom, awesome sight on the floor 12 rooftop, but still, the pool lacks a heater and not enough towels. Extremely cold! Pool bar closed!

HORRIBLE STAY - VERY UNSAFE! Checked in for 2 nights with a girl friend pre-cruise. Was given a room on the ground floor with a patio. After unpacking, I happened to go out on the patio to look around and when going back in to the room, realized the sliding glass door to the outside, ground level patio DID NOT LOCK. NO WAY to lock the door to your room from anyone entering off the street. Contacted the front desk and was told they would "see" if they had any other rooms available to move us to, otherwise maintenance would 'try' to fix the lock in the morning. Uh, HELL NO!!! NOT sleeping in a room with a door that does not lock. Contacted customer service via the chat function on the app (EVERYTHING has to be done via their app or your phone. No keys, not able to access your room if your phone happens to be dead) and was told another room was available, and would be ready in a little while. Wasted another hour and a half packing up the stuff we had just unpacked and waiting for a new room code to move. There is NO WAY housekeeping or the hotel itself was not aware the patio door lock was completely broken and not lockable. I can not be the only person who checked in to that room and checked the lock on the ground floor slider. This was a very scary and avoidable situation for two women traveling alone. Would not recommend this hotel at all. After moving rooms, we went out for some dinner and when we came back a couple hours later, the clientele in the hotel itself as well as the surrounding neighborhood looked totally sketch. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Tried to make a reservation online, in which it wouldn't take my card information. I called to make the reservation, which was successful and payment was charged. I started to fill out the Check In information (driver license picture and selfie?) when I received a text & email saying my reservation was canceled. I called back and was told that I have to reply to the email to find out why it was canceled, they couldn't give me an answer. I did email them, but also received another email with the receipt of the refund, in which now I have to wait for the bank to release the funds back? What kind of 1900s business establishment are you running?

Modern clean and comfortable rooms. The Olivia and Rooftop dining is elegant with white linen table cloth and napkins. Very professional services to top it off the food is deliciously prepared.
