Beautiful dog-friendly beach. If you’re thinking of bringing your pooch, PLEASE keep them on a leash at all times. Doggies are animals and they act based on instinct. Your doggie may be well behaved inside and outside the home, but you never know how it will go when they’re interacting with other dogs. Just be safe, for you and for the rest, and keep them leashed!

It's hard to rate this be abuse we went to the beach, but there is a lot more to do. This place is famous for its inlet but the waves weren't too bad when we went. It has multiple public restrooms and they are pretty clean. The Beach isn't too crowded and the clothing optional portion is actually rather nice. The only downside is the price to rent loungers ($15), umbrellas ($20), or small cabana tents ($30). Otherwise it's a nice beach. There is also a really nice skate park and marina.

I've been a local for decades. Still remember when the north side jetty had a deep drop-off at the bend. Don't remember dogs ever been allowed but today are. County keeps the beach clean as do dog owners that bring their dogs. Wish they would allow access around 7am so the sunrise could be experienced.

Nice clean and not too loud. I like going here all the time. Lots of parking. Plenty of grills available. The beach is so close to walk and lots of fishing in the river. The bathrooms are pretty close to. Clean showers.

We went to Haulover Park for a family picnic, it was absolutely beautiful. They have picnic areas with Bbq's, picnic tables, trees for shade, many beautiful beaches with white sand on the ocean plus a split that connects the ocean to the calm intercoastal clear blue water with many boats passing by. It was magical. In addition, there is a marina, with boats and water-sport rentals as well as many pelicans waiting for the fishing boats to come in. Highly recommended, we loved it, we will be back.

This was the best dog beach in Miami until this guy started working on tower 3. If you can, sit closer to tower 2 and avoid headaches. He doesn’t understand a thing about dogs, complains about dogs barking, makes people move their tents for no reason. We’ve been coming here for over 3 years, at the same spot with the same dog. Never ever had an issue with anyone except that our dog is super territorial and barks to most dogs close to our beach umbrella. Well, dogs barks and other dog owners never complained. I hope whoever are in charge of hiring people to this position consider that this is a dog beach and people afraid of dogs should never work here.

I loved it. I have been wanting to do this my whole.life and never have. I'm so mad at myself for not doing it soon. I had the best time. I met someone there. We had way too much fun together. I was kinda hoping to see him later that night but he never did call me. I will be going back tomorrow and the next I'm sure.

Referring to the jetty- This is a really cool spot. Very interesting to watch all the boats/ yachts going out on the ocean from the Intercoastal Waterway. Lots of fishing and professor going on. A very clean and safe area, a shirt walk from the Ritz-Carlton. Highly Recommended.

Haulover Beach deserves a solid five stars! The convenience of always finding street parking makes the visit hassle-free. It's a haven for those seeking tranquility, as it's not overly crowded. The pristine waters enhance the overall experience, making it an ideal destination for a refreshing day by the sea. Highly recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable beach day!

Haulover Park is a hidden gem in Miami! I recently shot a music video there and was blown away by the stunning views and unique location. The park is situated right alongside the highway, which makes for a truly one-of-a-kind backdrop. Plus, the sunset over the water is a sight to behold. The park is also great for families, with plenty of picnic areas, playgrounds, and even a dog park. Highly recommend a visit! Especially during Sunset!

We absolutely love Haulover Park... the beach is wonderful and the area around the rocks is perfect for building sand castles! It is quiet and the parking is great. We go at least a few times a month. Highly recommended.

This beach is fantastic for dog lovers! My dogs love it here! They love being off leash to run around and swim in the water!! Also if you drive a semi truck there is parking. So you can enjoy the day with or without your dog.

Nice clean park/beach. Something for everyone kind of park. Beach, skate park, picnic area, grills and tables available! Fishing too. Water colors are so tropical that you feel like you are in another country!

Came to the park on Sunday to canoe and swim. Bringing your own canoe to this park is not easy but still worth it, they can do better to provide a more convenient location to launch your equipment. Only 6 dollars for my wife and I to enter the park and use the water ways. Bring your water shoes if you plan to use the beach because of the rocks, no sand just rocks. Beer can island can be reached very easily from this park.

Loved this place! The beach was very clean and the other dogs behaved so well. The dog area is between tower 2 and 3. Parking is super convenient and close and there is a bathroom nearby. Be careful though because the gps takes you to the marina across the street.

Some of the greatest sand and water you will experience in Miami! The sand is soft, there are no rocks and there is actually little seaweed. We were able to get the same exact spot on the beach 4 days in a row! The beach was not too crowded and we went on a weekend and a holiday weekend. So that has to say something. There is a food truck that comes to sell food and beverages. They have people on the beach that rent umbrellas and chairs if you need them. The police and lifeguards patrol regularly which keeps the beach safe. Great job guys! Haulover is definitely a beach to check out its beautiful. Has the best sand and water. Perfect for a relaxing day at the beach.

You have to check out the world famous haulover park and sandbar while you're in Miami. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty busy, I can only imagine how busy it would be on Saturdays and Sundays, especially around long weekends. Come up to the sand bar and to anchor your boat Just live your best life while you listen to the tunes being pumped from the floating food truck. While you're at the park, go check out the beach as it's absolutely beautiful. We spent our time down near the Haulover inlet as I wanted to see some boats splash you the waves. Allegedly a little bit north of where we were is a nude beach. If you are going to go to the beach near the inlet just know that that part is the dog park. The dogs and owners are all well behaved and we were there. But if that's not your jam, you might want to go a bit more north to escape the animals. Even though the sandbar is really shallow. I still found the current quite strong so hang on to your kids in small animals or they might get sucked away.

Great place to throw a BBQ, go to the beach, catch fish all in one spot. No glass bottles, and parking is cheap. No matter what time you go there is parking. Also rentals. Make sure you pay for the parking. The guy is out walking and checking. The picture is where I was fishing, the beach is right behind me. Picnic tables and shade also.

Parking is key here be careful and read the signs or you will get a parking ticket. Park at the side with the marine port and use an small short-walk tunnel under the busy road to get to the other side. There are only two volleyball areas one for little kids and one for adults. Lots of picnic tables but they are for whoever gets them first and they will get full fast!

As a Florida resident I honestly don’t go to the beach much but my bestie took me to this one and honestly was pretty chill. Very clean and had a great time even with the rain. Highly recommend this beach.

If you are looking for a beach and a place to take kids to swim when visiting Miami, then this is your beach. Why do you ask? Well, the biggest one is that it only costs $7 to park vs. $40 in the heart of the strip. This beach is also quiet, and there were not a lot of people there in all our visits. The beach is north of the main drag, so it will be a little bit of a drive to get to. Not by distance but because there are so many dam signals. But for those with younger kids, this is the beach for you. Also, bathrooms are close to the beach for when you need to rush them there.

Great beach! Very clean with a skate park, plenty of cheap parking, and a dog popsicle stand for the pups. Be careful if you're going to be out there for a long time with your dog because the sand is quite coarse. Make sure to bring some dog booties so that their feet don't get too sore.

There aren't many dog beaches in Dade County. Hobie (calm water) would be my first choice but Haulover is a close second... the waves are just a little rough for the dogs to swim.

This is a great beach for beach activities. Plenty of sand, good swimming along the entire 1 mile length. You can rent umbrellas and chairs, but most people have their own. There is a paved trail the entire length of the beach as well. There are showers and bathrooms along the trail, but spaced quite a ways apart. Be aware the north end of the beach is clothing optional. Parking is a challenge and not close to the beach and traffic can be horrendous on busy weekends. There are no shops or food options other than an occasional food truck. I didnt see any activities like para sailing available. It's just a great beach, nothing else.

We went for the kite flying event and it was impressive to see all the giant kites. The beach is great but they do have a nude section so beware of traveling with kids. I'm ranking it a four because the area could use more trees, shade structures, etc.

My husband and I went there with our yellow lab September 2021! Wonderful beach. It was my pups first time at the beach and he loved it! Everyone there was respectful and kind. But!!! there was a older gentleman there taking pictures of everyone and the dogs and I was wondering if anyone knows who that man is, if he has social media, any type of contact? He took amazing pictures of my husband, dog, and i. I never got his contact information before I left. I know it’s a reach but if anyone could help thank you!

There is a section of the beach where dogs are allowed, you have to park on the first parking lot after the bridge. The dog beach is only between tower 2 and 3. There is a dog wash station in the entrance to tower 3. The dogs were friendly and it was a nice day. The parking lot use PayByPhone.

My favorite beach thus far in Miami. I didn't know they had a nude part until recently which was interesting. It was clean and not overly crowded every time I have been there.

A lot of parking! Great place for friends and family. They have food track event and kite festival once in the month. Thera are showers next to the beach. And one small store next to the pier ( next to the boat gas station). A lot of pelicans and big fish. Great place for fishing

Haulover is a great beach, much less crowded than South Beach but the water and sand are still great. You park on the west side and there are paths that bring you under the road to the beach side. There is also a clothing optional section if that's your thing. I actually set up close to it as it was less busy for obvious reasons.

Great place to visit . We went to the sand bar and it was absolutely beautiful. Glad we took advantage of the beautiful weather and we actually saw a shark. I'm terrified of sharks, but this one never got too close to us. It seemed to be chilling for a while then it left.

I'm a big fan of this beachfront park north of Miami stretching from the beach over to Biscayne bay. Lots of parking, walkways under the main road make for easy crossing, and lots of space overall. Beautiful views...one of my very favorite sunset views in Miami over the bay. Great for watching the boats go by in the inlet and lots of other activities as well from kites to fishing boats. The boat ramp definitely gets busy or weekends and major holidays so plan ahead for that if you need to. The most north area of the beach is nude friendly. But the vast majority of the beach is family friendly for all and even has a dog beach area during certain hours.

Haulover Beach: Naturist This is my second time at a naturist beach, the first being Black’s Beach in La Jolla section of San Diego CA. This beats them out by a long shot! It’s much more intimate and friendly while being sexy and offering amazing people watching moments. Parking is relatively easy, however I can see how it can be a nightmare during high peak times. But you can’t beat the price, $6! unheard of. Also of note, I rented a car for my entire stay and don’t mind driving or experiencing the flow & quirks of city driving. The highway to get anywhere in this portion of Miami can be difficult and challenging for those drivers who aren’t comfortable with close quarter speedsters. I can’t really speak to public transit but a little research shows it’s possible and may be a preferred alternative. The path leading to the beach goes directly underneath the streets for a safe and smooth walk. There are bathrooms just before you get to the gate and a sign warning you of seeing the human form in all it’s bare. For those who don’t wish to be harassed or approached you can set up camp near the lifeguard station, it’s big and pink. Otherwise, find your spot and take it all in. I was fortunate enough to meet a friendly gent near to me, who I casually went up to and asked if he could cover the hard time reach places, my back, he was more than happy to help out. He was initially fully clothed, it is optional after all, but once I bared all he followed soon after. He was a regular and said he takes his time in disrobing. Other than this fine friend I went unbothered and loved that I got to soak up the sun and splendor all to myself. Onto the bods, let me tell you they were of all shapes and sizes. Everyone living their best lives and just enjoying. Definitely some cruising happening and when turned down they honorably walked away and onto the next shiny specimens that caught their attention. It was a special environment that is primed for you to feel uninhibited and immersed as well as aware of yourself.
