A friend recommended the place. Although there were some parties waiting to be seated, they offered us the bar. We order a Cranberry mimosa and a Bloody Mary. Took a while to get it but it was worth it. Benedicts were great. Recommend it.

Really great little breakfast spot. Food is good and so is the service. Usually packed on the weekends so be prepared to wait up to an hour before getting a table. Worth visiting. Has a bunch of unique entrees to try. Coffee is good with refills. Will be back for sure.

Came for the first time after broken egg being recommended so much and it was so good. Our waitress Toni was amazing. So attentive and thorough with our order. She took our order and came with the drinks immediately and our food came probably less than 15 mins later. And we had a table of 5! She was amazing and attentive. The food was all delicious and definitely coming back!

We are big fans of Another Broken Egg Cafe from other locations in other states, but this location was a bit disappointing. It wasn't as clean and the food was just alright. It's more of an American diner feels than a nice brunch spot. Food did not feel fresh or as flavorful. If you're looking for brunch, I'd recommend one of the small business brunch spots throughout Ft. Lauderdale and Miami instead for a better, tastier experience.

I went for a quick breakfast today and to my surprise, there was no wait! We had the pleasure of being served by a waitress named Summer who was as pleasant and bright as her name! She was attentive, brought us a sample of the country grits and was very friendly! My husband had the Abe Famous Infused Mary and I had the Tropical Sangria. My cocktail was refreshing and I was tempted to order a second one. For my entree, I ordered the Shrimp ‘N Grits. I honestly can’t get enough of this dish. The spicy lo country reduction is perfect over the cheesy grits. The dish is served with a good amount of shrimp and andouille sausage too. I can’t wait to have it again!

Another Broken Egg is an eclectic spot with yummy food. The options are many and creative. The staff is usually quick and personable. My only nitpick would be that coffee is not always hot. I'll be going back as I must try some more dishes. Today, I had the Salmon Benedict with a side of Cheese Grits. Yummy on both accounts.

The first time they took me, I simply loved the atmosphere and especially the service they have... Not to mention the food, very good and fresh. My second time in this place and without a doubt every time I go to North Carolina, my breakfast will always be here

Ordered the hash-brown benedict and for my daughter, I ordered the little rooster. Food was really good and tasty. Toni was my waitress and she was very helpful and welcoming. I would recommend this place for breakfast. I did manage to see the pancakes and they look pretty fluffy. Perhaps I’ll order those next time. If you arrive after 8am, you may have to make the line to be seated. Try and get there earlier.

Ordered online at 10:20am, restaurant confirmed my order would be ready at 11:00am. Arrived to pickup my order at 11:10am and waited until 12:01pm for my food to be ready. During my wait time multiple individuals asked the staff for an estimate the to go person simply stated “ I don’t know what to tell you”. The food isn’t worth a lack hospitality, communication and inaccurate wait times via the app. At the least the app could give you an accurate wait time so your time isn’t wasted.

The food is great, friendly staffs, clean and delicious. As information I knew the head chef was graduated from culinary school from Washington DC that I guess her knowledge that she made the dish simply amazing taste. Some good live music in the house. we will visit again. Pembroke Pines , Florida area! absolutely great place! Good time.

Another Broken Egg Cafe is an amazing place! From simple egg’s and regular coffee to delicious cinnamon roll French Toast and spiked coffee / spiked cocktails. You cannot go wrong with this place, it’s super cute very friendly and giving all the farm house vibes :) I have been TWICE, no issues, food is amazingly hot and delicious, so many options to choose from. I highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a new breakfast place!!!!

Wait staff was fun, friendly, professional and attentive. The menu is out of this world outrageously delicious. My breakfast of banana bread french toast was unreal... So glorious! I am definitely going back to try more delicious things. Oh and the specialty coffee was pretty good. (I didn't like the house blend.)

They have the capability to be 5 stars but a total lack of care and attention to detail makes them a negative -5. When I was there the waitress was rude and didn't allow my mom to keep the free 1st timer gift that a previous waitress gave me on my first time there. The food was kind of tasteless for being a pumpkin waffle, this was all last year. Now today I tried you guys again on an uber order and things even by delivery have not improved. The waffles and pancake were ice cold, the bananas foster had 2 and a half thin slices bananas on top, the butter for the waffle had no cover and smeared in the container. Were they trying to beat a time clock? Oh and the drinks were missing too, I know it wasn't the drivers fault because the receipt from the restaurant left it out yet I was still charged. Still waiting on uber to address the issue and when I called the restaurant.... no answer. I noticed after reading other reviews that you throw around empty apologies with no attempt to follow up nor rectify. You guys need to fix that broken egg because it's leaving a mess everywhere. Got your reply but again how does that help with the possibly accidental theft committed by your staff? Still no response from uber eats and I submitted proof that the error was committed by your staff not the driver. This makes your company guilty of theft, charging customers for items never sent out by you falsifying the receipt. Called left a message no call back after several days. So no one is going to refund me for the missing items? $10 here $6 there, over time and with it being done to 10 people a day, sounds like you're operating a theft ring.

Another Broken Egg cafe is my go-to breakfast/brunch spot, and they never disappoint. I encourage everyone to utilize their waitlist option on their website to avoid the long wait. This place is very popular, and only have a limited amount of space. As soon as I arrived, I met the friendly host who took me to my table. I then met our friendly waitress Summer who was great! Not only was she nice and accommodating but she also gave great suggestions on what we should try. I ordered the tropical sangria which was great; the multiple flavors of coconut, pineapple, orange with the right amount of alcohol. Then I tried their seasonal menu item; the Apple fritter French toast which was amazing! The sweet caramel sauce with the thinly sliced apples on the thick slices of toast paired well with one another. I hope these keep this menu item on their menu. As always, I enjoyed my time at Another Broken Egg Cafe.

After 3 attempts my boyfriend and I were finally able to dine at another broken egg cafe. It is absolutely worth the wait! My boyfriend and I couldn’t decide on what to order as you could see lol. The service here was phenomenal especially our server she was extremely kinda and gave us a few options on what was good on the menu and she did not stir us wrong everything we ate was delicious in every bite. I wish I got her name she was the best. We will definitely be dining here again especially since the food is great and it’s inexpensive. 1000000/10 definitely recommend!!!

We ended up here for my surprise birthday brunch. We were a party of seven. The decor of the restaurant was stunning, with beautiful lighting and tasteful furnishings that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our server Toni was exceptional, well versed with the menu and its offerings, attentive, friendly ensuring our needs were met throughout the meal. We tried an assortment of dishes from Hey Lucy! Omelette, Chicken & Waffles, Shrimp 'N Grits to Crab Cake Benedict. Every dish was simply delicious, beautifully presented & full of flavor. To sum up, the overall combination of great decor, excellent service, and delicious food made for a truly memorable dining experience. We will surely return. Thank you for reading. 😊

Today I decided to place a to go order from this location and boy was it an experience. Initially when I got there, a lady was waiting but said she had already been helped. About 10mins pass by, nobody helps me and or returns to the lady. A waitress was on her phone, the manager kept giving glances into our direction, waitresses came and went but nobody helped us. I ask the woman in front of me how long she had been waiting and she said 30mins. At this point I go to the hostess and ask her to tell someone that we have been waiting for a long time for already placed to go orders. The hostess said ok but never tells the manager. Eventually I walk to the manager and tell him that we had been waiting and nobody has helped me nor brought out the first woman’s food. Soon after they bring out our food and we go on our way. Now you would think this would be the end of the review but nope. I come home to open my food and it looked absolutely terrible . My Mardi Gras omelette was over cooked and chewy the crab cakes looked like crab mess and the potatoes were cold and hard. For $47 it was definitely a waste of time and money. Moral of the story is if you want Another Broken Egg eat in person as they do not care about their To-Go orders. Update #1: Emailed them and no response

Great 1st impression! Went on Saturday morning at about 945AM. Toni was our server and she was very hospitable and welcomed us kindly to the restaurant. First time at "Another Broken Egg"and it was great! As first timers, we were also greeted with two free powdered beignets. Perfect pairing with our order of coffees! After telling Toni what we were craving, she helped us out. It did not disappoint. The Salmon Benedict, Crab Cake Benedict, side of a HUGE waffle, and the "City grits" were amazing!

Long wait time. *1hr* We watched as the dining room person took their sweet time to clean tables. Our waitress Jojo was so friendly and knowledgeable. The hostess was Sweet. However, my friend cleaned our table just to speed up the process to get us a seat.

Another Broken Egg sets the standard for excellence in dining! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The ambiance was inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. The food? Absolutely divine! Each dish was crafted with care and attention to detail, resulting in a burst of flavors with every bite. From the savory omelets to the decadent pancakes, everything was top-notch delicious. The freshness of the ingredients truly shone through, elevating the entire dining experience. But what truly sets Another Broken Egg apart is their outstanding customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest felt welcomed and satisfied. Whether you're looking for a leisurely brunch or a delightful breakfast, Another Broken Egg is the place to be. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Five stars all around for this gem of a restaurant!

I came at a good time of the day. I had no waiting time. I ordered the Hashbrowns Benedict. It was delicious. I liked it. I came with a side. I got potatoes. They tasted great. The Citrus Honey Fig Pancakes tasted good. I liked it. The pancakes were not layered with a fig cream as the description on the menu; nothing was in between them. They did taste good. This is a nice friendly restaurant with good customer service. I like coming here.

A delicious choice for a wonderful brunch. Gingerbread waffle (seasonal menu) ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ Apple fritter french toast (seasonal menu) ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Crab cake Benedict ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lemon blueberry mimosa ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ Abe famous infused Mary ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My party was so enticed by the delicious smells coming from each of our items we forgot to take pictures of the food before eating! The gingerbread waffle was fluffy and a sweet treat. The gingerbread waffle was a festive way to celebrate the holidays. Our only concern was the side of bacon that comes with the meal was just a tad too smokey. We were almost worried that the Apple fritter French toast would be too sweet when we saw it come out. The French toast surprised us by being just the right amount of sweetness and full of flavor. The crab cake Benedict is my go to order at any broken egg location. Their crab cake and hollandaise sauce are perfect on top of their perfectly toasted English muffins. The Abe infused Mary was superb and had a couple of delicious accompaniments. The pickled okra and bacon were especially great. The lemon blueberry mimosa was the only item we were kinda disappointed in. It wasn’t as sweet as we were expecting and didn’t really taste of lemon or blueberry. The customer service was excellent though and the option to join the waitlist using Yelp was great! Will be returning to try even more delicious menu items soon.

You know this place must have good food when the wait is more than 30 minutes. Was able to sit at the bar for breakfast with waiting for a table. Bartender/waitress was very attentive and immediately greeted me and took my drink order. Ordered a hot tea and then the Ultimate omelette with potatoes and English muffin. Food was very freshly prepared. Taste was on point and still had some for later in the day or breakfast tomorrow so as to not return again. Others around me had French toast or shrimp and grits and all plates were overflowing with food. Watched the bartender make/mix mimosas as well as Bellini’s and there was a lot of alcohol poured.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this location. Daniel Hill, the manager was very welcoming and attentive to all the guests. There was no issue and he came to make sure everything was as expected. The Hostess Tony was great. Kept us updated on the seating since there was a wait. Our waitress Kim was amazing!!!!! One of the best customer service I have received in a while. Great place. We will come back again. Omg, the food, was amazing. The Bourbon Street pancakes tastes like Ice-cream. I love them. Sorry I ate the food already, but I can upload have eaten bourbon street pancakes.

Great French Toast that had a Lemon Ricotta cheese as layers bt each slice (6 half slices!) then covered with blueberries, dusted with sugar and with syrup. What made this so good was that the flavors were great, and yet the dish was not the typical "too sweet." Right balance of flavor and sweetness. On the side, we had thick cut baked bacon with eggs...bacon that is baked has a good flavor surprisingly good texture. We also had an Omelet filled with mushrooms, peppers and goat cheese topped with herbs. I normally would not like that combo but it was very good and tasted fresh. Other than a special single origin coffee that was a good strong and rich cup, but was not at all bitter, we had fresh fruit that was also very good. Our waitress was very nice, brought out our drinks quickly, and even brought us the refills just b4 we had finished the furst drinks...good timing. Finally, the Manager stopped by to see if we liked our meal. We have already picked out what we will be ordering when we return late next month.

First visit here. I would honestly say the food for great and wonderful price. The atmosphere is kid friendly and very comfortable. The only con is reservations which they don’t have none. On the website is a waiting list and it’s a gamble. I jump on the waiting list at 11:00 but me and my party had to wait for 1 hour and 30 minutes to be seated. Luckily, I told my other guests to not come until a certain time so they works have to wait so long so be mindful of the timing and party size. Overall, it was a nice and relax Sunday brunch experience.

I’ve had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant twice, and both times everything was great! Both visits were on Saturdays, one around 11am and the other about 8am. We were seated quickly, and the service was friendly and accommodating both times. The location was clean, and it is easy to get to in a convenient location across from the Pembroke Lakes Mall in the Home Depot plaza. Each time I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast, which is served with cream cheese icing and run butter sauce drizzled on top along with sliced strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, plus some whipped cream. It also comes with two eggs (any style) and either bacon or sausage. The French toast is absolutely divine, and the rum butter sauce is delicious on it. I chose the bacon, which was prepared exactly how I asked and had great taste, not salty at all. I gave the eggs to others in my party, and both times they said they were good. I would definitely recommend this cafe for breakfast/brunch, I loved the food and the others in my party enjoyed what they ordered as well (sorry, I can’t remember what they got but the really liked what they had!). I hope they’ll open another location closer to me, but for now I’ll be enjoying eating there while visiting family that lives just down the street from this location.

It was my first time hearing of this place & visiting with my daughter & close friends. D/Delano was our waiter & he was great! I didn’t like the dish I ordered… but will try something else the next time I go. Make sure to pay attention to your receipt. The price on the menu did not match. It’s a good thing I happened to take a photo of the menu showing what I ordered.

Loved the food. Everything was delicious and the staff was very accommodating for brunch. We tried the chicken and waffles, city grits, and spinach omelette with buttermilk pancakes. We also had a blueberry lemonade mimosa pitcher to share which was enough for 3 people and very delicious. We will be back again.

This is my favorite breakfast place. Not only is the menu and food preparation excellent, but the people who work there and the patrons are among the most engaging individuals in South Florida. I haven't been in Pembroke Pines since the pandemic hit. But once we are past the pandemic and I eat out again, I'll make time for breakfast here and I'll feel life is better at last. I miss you guys very much.

Arrived at 10:30ish and there was probably 30 people waiting and a 45min to 1 hour wait. I stalked the bar and quickly got a seat for 2 within 5 minutes! Breakfast was very good! We got French toast, and I go a veggie omelette. Potato were the best! The omelette tasted Smokey like it had been cooked over something that had burned, but overall everything was very tasty!

Omagawd! Yum Yum Yum! This has become our new favorite breakfast spot. First Watch who?! The service here has always been great, and the food is phenomenal. They have a big selection of food and it all sounds delicious. Their bananas foster French toast is finger licking good (but COVID), so i tend to get the same thing over and over. Their menu is online and there is a QR code at each table. It's nice to not have to touch anything repeatedly touched by others, just to see what we want to eat. They have sanitizer at the entrance, and they seat everyone very distanced. I feel safe eating there, which is great because I want to help support businesses.

  • 2/5 Harry N. 3 years ago on Google
Before I write my review, I would like to say i’ve been here many times at the suggestion of others prior to Covid-19. I have ordered many menu items and have experienced the quality of their overall service experience on multiple occasions. This review is also written during Covid, when I picked up my order to go- instead of choosing to sit in a closely-packed restaurant when the Covid numbers are skyrocketing in Florida. Covid Safety: Given the very real threat of Covid to public health on a world-wide scale, some restaurants have decided to open at half- capacity or have spaced out their tables to try and be within 6 feet apart. The Covid-positive numbers are now higher than they were when restaurants and public places closed around March/ April. However, this is not the case at Another Broken Egg. When I went to pick up my order on the go, several people were waiting outside in close proximity, and the restaurant inside has tables very close together filled to capacity to gain maximum profit from maximum in-restaurant customer attendance. Given that Covid is an air-borne spread illness- simply wiping down and disinfecting the tables is not enough of a safety measure. I feel bad for the waiters and waitresses who have no choice but to oblige in order to keep their job. However, if you’re a Trump supporter then this section doesn’t matter to you; because for you Covid is a hoax even though the entire world is affected, and you erroneously believe the flu is more harmful. However, if you’re someone who uses common sense, doesn’t watch propaganda, and believes in science - then dining in makes about as much sense as a cloud raining orange kool-aid. Admittance Wait Time: This is this place’s second most significant drawback. If you’re planning on going without prior reservations, you can expect a 2+ hour wait time. Simply put there isn’t enough space to accommodate walk-ins in a timely manner. But placing a reservation is simple enough- just download the Yelp app and put yourself in-line by inputting some personal information. Service: Service seems to be an area comparable to other restaurants. I have never had any rude or significantly negative experiences with any of the waitresses. In general, they promptly come to take your order and like any other restaurant you have to wait 15-20 minutes for your order- depending of course on the volume of customers already there and orders placed beforehand. Food Quality: This is the #1 most significant drawback of Another Broken Egg cafe. But let me clear- the food is not bad or terrible, but it also does not stand out in any particular way. The pancakes I ordered looked and tasted like what I can make at home from an Aunt Jemima pancake mix box. I ordered the peach cobbler pancake combo which comes with eggs in a style of your choice and a sausage of your choice. I ordered scrambled eggs which are equivalent to scrambled eggs found in a school cafeteria- dry, bland, not much texture, special flavoring or anything. They also did not top the peach cobbler pancakes with whipped cream, which was in the description and put very few peaches on top . I’ve ordered the Floridian Omelette which was my least favorite menu item. When it came the omelette bowl was very watery on bottom - and the omelette was kind of tough in texture which tells me that the omelette was not freshly cooked. I’ve also ordered the Stuffed Belgian Waffle which i’m not sure is on the menu anymore- but it was a belgian waffle that is supposed to be stuffed with chocolate and some strawberries on top and whipped cream. They skimped on the chocolate stuffing where they only put a meager bit of melted chocolate in the center. Honestly, I have no idea why people pack this place when you can make better food on your own, with more flavor in 15 minutes. Do yourselves a favor and go to First Watch who have amazing giant slightly crispy on the outside pancakes, avocado toast- and generally have a higher quality and tasty menu.
