Are these people freaking serious. They served me old rotten moldy food. They don’t bake their pastries daily. The store leaves them out for days. I ate some of it too. I tasted something weird and it made me want to throw up. I can't believe this. These people really just leave their pastries out until someone buys it. Wow. I'm so disgusted with this place. This review isn't the end of this. Update: I called the business and they blamed it on humidity and it grew that much mold in less the 4-5 hours. Just amazed at them not taking responsibility.

Terrible service. My dad got yelled at when he brought up that they messed up his coffee order. He ordered a cappuccino, and they couldn't get it right, and even attempted to charge him twice for their mistake. Paid $30 for a simple breakfast, and the food was quality expected of paying maybe $15-20 for two people because it was something you'd expect from a fast food place maybe. Incredibly disappointed, won't be coming back again.

I’ve been going to this place for almost 10 years, always the best food around west Pines. Recently it is not the case anymore, the steak sandwich is the most pitiful thing you can purchase now @ $10dls. Not only prices don’t match. The food quality is very poor lately. Very disappointed!

Slow service and then Cuban sandwich was cold. I asked to reheat, lady says well the meat is cold. Manager comes out with attitude so I ask for refund. I get to van rest of family complaining how cold all their food is too. I don’t believe these previous reviewers.

update: went back to see if there's any improvement. all of us in the office were in a mood for a steak sandwich; half of my sandwich is missing tomato and Jualiana Fries, the palomilla steak is thinner than a deli turkey slice. The service is not the same anymore, they're rude. After almost 12 years, Sad to say we won't be returning there no more. Pan con bistec here was good, pricey but better tasting than at Vicky’s Bakery!

I used to go there all the time but since the owner changed the quality, service and prices are terrible. I just went today and for sure never again. $30 for a few items for two people. I'm insulted that they charge $2.06 for a tiny croquetta that is no big deal. Isla canaria has the best out there and bigger for $1.47. Don't see this place openuch longer. Oh and she overcharged me for an extra empanada. $3.89 crazy never again.

This is maybe my second time posting any sort of review, but I’m just upset. I paid almost $40 for a couple of pastries & 3 juices… I called to let them know that 2 of the juices spilled in my car at a stop sign NEXT to their establishment and they said they didn’t believe me. Clearly they don’t understand the value of customer service, it doesn’t take much to have satisfied customers. ESP when their pricing is this insane

What a waste of money. Pastelitos were so stale and stiff, I think they were older than my grandpa! Disgusting coconut pastelito! See picture below.

This place is still bad. Placed an order, at 5 pm to pick at 6pm. They said it would be ready. Get there and they haven’t even started. No customers inside. Happens all the time. Also, prices are hi compared to other cuban bakerys in the area. I remember why I stopped coming here.

I used to live in Pembroke Pines but now I live in Orlando Florida. I make sure that every time I go down to visit I make a stop in this Bakery to eat or to take home with me. Food is always fresh and they have a lot of varieties to choose from.

Great spot for a quick Cuban breakfast. It's clean, everything is fresh, and the ladies are friendly.

The service here is the worst I have ever experienced. The cashier barely made contact with us and didn't answer our questions. Do not go there. It is not even worth it.

Food is expensive and not all that great the croquettes and papa rellena were not even hot the tequeño hard, Cuban sandwich was mediocre and the bistec in the pan con bistec was kind of hard but had decent taste. On top of that, the older blonde lady with glasses distributes really bad customer service with attitude and sarcasm. I personally saw her do this with a customer and myself as well.

So sad I can’t give them minus 5 stars. The worst service I have ever got from a Cuban place. Number one the associate didn’t say hello or welcome she wasn’t even busy and when I ask for my coffee she said wait a minute let me finish what I am doing. Then I ask for a pastry and she didn’t have any knowledge of what it was. Food wasn’t that bad. Not the best of course for the price. But the worst part when I say good bye and have a good day she didn’t even look at me. Definitely never come back. I don’t recommend it at all. And as a business owner I recommend the owner of this business get rid of this person she is destroying the place. And is not working the effort that put in the place that look nice to trap people come in

Automatically charged for gratuity. That’s not how you do business.

Ridiculously overpriced! I ordered 6 ham croquetas and 2 papas rellenas and they wanted to charge me $17.00!!!!!!! I cancelled the order. Their lunch menus are less expensive!

The food is decent, but no where near worth the price. The customer service is beyond terrible. The women behind the counter, especially the older blonde woman, always seem miserable and upset whenever you walk in. I walked in and said hello to just be stared at with no response. I see according to other reviews I am not the only one who is treated horribly by this unprofessional staff. Such bad attitudes.

Came here for breakfast. The lady with the red glasses rushed me insanely, I wanted to buy for my whole family, after the sandwich and ordering a pastry she rushes me and I discontinue ordering, possibly a 60 dollar order I stopped at 20 smh. Then for them to mess my food up because they were rushing me and not paying attention then to charge me more for their mess up. Then to continue to talk about me in Spanish while I’m standing here. There are so many bakery’s in the area. Avoid this one, I promise all the rest are amazing.

Came here with my mom for two croqueta preparadas and two trigo shakes. When the lady handed me the food and told me the price my jaw dropped it was ridiculously expensive. I havent been back since. It's a shame because I always loved picking up breakfast and even ordered all my kids birthday cakes from here. Had been coming for nearly 16 years. Sad.

The coffee and pastries were very good 8/25 I visited again today, the medianoche sandwich was the best. I hadn't had one in years. Now I know where to get then.
