Love the coffee here the tuna salad and brioche breakfast sandwich are great the food is a little up in price but you can enjoy a relaxing time in the coffee shop that I think makes the experience worth while. Caramel latte is my go to. Since visiting Seattle this is the only place that compares on coffee. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Food is cooked to order and taste great

This place has acoustic problems; everything is loud, machine to make the drinks, the blender are too loud, people seems to be talking loud because of the acoustic issues. Beside me only one more customer cannot be too loud. They have music, all of this together, without a happy hour don’t make the place pleasant. To place the order with all of these noise is just not pleasant. Breakfast should be more relaxing than that. Service is so so…! and on top of that with all of these issues is expensive. StarBucks is less expensive, more relaxing, and customer service a lot better.

Nice spot, wasn't aware of it until today. Coffee was excellent, as was the avocado toast and breakfast crossaint. The added touch of the latte foam art was a nice detail and made it more memorable.

Will not be coming here again. Ridiculously overpriced. Spent $50 on 2 coffees, 2 sandwiches, 1 croissant and 1 apple juice. The quality and quantity of the food was not there either. They could probably have less employees since when I walked in they were all just moping or doing nothing. The service was nice and the staff were friendly but I just think it’s too many people for such a small place. Also, if you’re going charge that much don’t use cheap plating takes away from the presentation. Felt like I could get so much more food, better tasting and half the cost at a cafe down the street.

After our trip to Seattle, my boyfriend and I wanted to find a local coffee shop that reminded us of the coffee we had there. Smartbean was the first place we found, and haven’t felt the need to keep looking because we love the coffee here so much! The staff is friendly, and the owner who’s usually there during the week is very attentive. I really enjoy their drip coffee with one pump of caramel & coconut syrup. The double espresso is also really a great choice. My FAVORITE food item is the tuna bowl, SO GOOD! The breakfast sammies are good too. If you’re looking for a chill place to relax while enjoying your coffee, I’d say this is the place to try.

Was hoping for some fluffy and warm beignets but instead got what more resembled and tastes like wonton wraps dipped in a syrup, fried and then coated in powdered sugar, I guess they suggest having them come filled because it’s more of an egg roll that needs filling rather than a fluffy beignet with a hint of filling in the middle, should have known super disappointed Update: No need to lie and create a narrative to excuse bad food 🥴 Just icky overall! For guaranteed great desserts try Batch Cookie Company or even Parlour Vegan Bakery, there desserts are always fresh and delicious ! And yes I do leave good and bad reviews for places I eat/shop at. That’s the point of being able to leave a review, depends on the experience 🤷🏽‍♀️ instead of being combative take this as an opportunity to do better 🥴 your no exception to an honest opinion just for being a mom and pop shop! Good luck with it though!

Good and coffee was good! The bread on the butter milk sandwich is a little too heavy when already eating a heavy meal. But would come by in person and try it out.

My Frenchie Milou made a debut on my coffee and it’s a memory I’ll cherish forever 🐶💙 We ordered the avocado toast and chicken sandwich, they both made our mouths water! Also recommend ordering their 2 for $10 special crossaints, they are so buttery! Will definitely be back for more.

I loved the experience here! Danny made us feel very comfortable and was knowledgeable about the menu (food and coffee). I loved the design he was able to make on the foam (see picture) and the coffee and food was delicious (I had the chai vanilla latte and the prosciutto egg croissant sandwich). I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great atmosphere and great coffee / food!

Very nice little coffee shop! The parking around it is a little atrocious, but it's worth the hassle. The brioche breakfast sandwich is scrumptious! Their chai latte is also wonderful. I did add an extra shot of espresso, as I needed an extra kick in the pants today, but the latte was still smooth and flavorful. The avocado toast also got rave reviews from my breakfast companion, and I look forward to giving it a try!

We had the almond croissant and three different coffees. My second visit and very please with service, food, cleanliness, parking and ambiance.

Took my parents for breakfast and we enjoyed our meals. The food was fresh and flavorful. The coffees we had were both delicious and my dad really liked his message on his drink. The staff was very friendly. Place was clean and decor was trendy. Great music being played. It is pricey, for a party of 3 it was $67.00 + tip.

Quaint spot. Food was fresh and very good. The fried bacon wrapped dates are the way to go. I enjoyed the prosciutto grilled cheese and the croissant French toast. A bit on the pricy side, but the food was worth it.

Got my order wrong and overcharged me for what they gave me based on their menu prices. Ordered the Brioche Breakfast Sandwich... received a sad croissant with cheese and ham. Tried the store calling to explain what happened (took the food to-go), but they didn't understand a thing. Pretty disappointed.

This place is very welcoming the atmosphere the people and the food is delicious. Pablo gave amazing service and attention. Their prices are great as well. I will definitely be recommending this place to all my family and friends also will be returning to try more things on the menu.

The coffee latte art was my favorite (very original) but the almond croissant makes me want to go back for seconds. Not a Miami Lakes local, so I thought it was overpriced. Def wanted to try their savory options but didn’t want to spend $20+ on breakfast.

I had no idea this place existed and was so close to my house. Best almond croissant ever and the Carmel macchiato was divine - love my foam art. Will absolutely be going back.

Absolutely love this place! Danny and the team are always very welcoming and friendly. We go for breakfast and their avocado toast and prosciutto croissant breakfast sandwich never disappoint. My daughter loves the white chocolate strawberry smoothie. She recently tried the tuna avocado bowl for lunch and it was a hit. I’m sure we’re now adding Smartbean to our lunch rotation and not just for breakfast anymore.

The avocado toast on the far side was $13.95, the turkey (from Publix) and scrambled eggs croissant sandwich was $11.95. Need I say more? Actually I will, the hot beverages took 15 minutes and did not come hot.

The place is overpriced. Got a blueberry muffin that honestly tasted really bad, and it was 5$, and extremely small, just fits in my hand. The coffee wasnt anything special either. I thought this place would be a specialty place, and that their muffins and coffee would be high quality and large for that price. Not the case. I don't know how this place has such great reviews.

Today I visited Smart Bean and felt like a coffee queen. The staff is friendly; the place is so cute, and my coffee was perfect. I’m usually not a latte person, but their hazelnut late is the best I’ve ever tried. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Really enjoyed their coffee. Their beans don’t have a burnt, acidic taste which Miami typically has to offer. You can taste the roast of the coffee, the soil and altitude that developed it, and the brew. Shoutout to Dani (i think he’s the owner?) I saw White Chocolate Mocha and asked if he had lavender to add to it. He immediately ordered lavender and I just tried out his Lavender White Chocolate Mocha both iced and hot and they were both phenomenal. Nice foam cap on the latte which the latte had enough milk where the foam was a perfect add on, not the only source of milk for the drink. Nice atmosphere to study too. 5/5 starts for sure.

Ordered 4 different coffees.. the best most favorable coffee I’ve had. The portions are a great size and the food is amazing. 10/10 would recommend. Great vibes relaxing music. The owner was super nice and good welcoming energy.

I went here with my kids and it was amazing! The service was perfect and the food was even better. I recommend the avocado toast with the freshly squeezed orange juice. My experience was perfect and I can’t wait to go back next week.

Moved to the area a few months ago and this has quickly become our favorite spot! We walk over every Sunday morning for the best coffee and avocado toast EVER! The first time I tried the avo toast I couldn't stop telling all my friends about it. Highly recommend!!!!
