Perfectly cooked food! My wife found this place while looking for new breakfast spots. We go as a family on Sunday mornings. So I was excited to try a new place. This did not disappoint. We arrived a little later than I'd like (9:30). It's a standalone building with its own parking. I expected there to be a line and was surprised that we were seated immediately. The place has a nostalgic diner feel. I counted almost 20 staff running around which was surprising for the size of the establishment. Due to having that "American diner" decor I was surprised that our server Larry took our order on an IPad mini. He was friendly and fast. My wife said that the diner was known for their fried chicken so I figured I'd try that. I had the fried chicken Benedict which is a large fried piece of white chicken with a poached egg and hollandaise on a waffle. It was served with a side of hash browns. My son had the kids waffle and my wife had a two egg breakfast with hash browns, bacon and toast. I was surprised that each dish was cooked perfectly. My chicken was crispy outside but juicy and tender inside. The waffles were crispy enough to not collapse when you cut them. But were soft enough inside to make each bite delightful. Even the hash browns had that crispy crust but the bottom was just right. Overall I have to say I was very impressed and look forward to our next visit.

Wow, what a great experience?! And I am a huge critique when it comes to food. But I will return to this place over and over again. My waiter was a cool older gentleman that was very easy to talk to. The food was portioned well and very tasty. So recommended.

This place has weekly special plates posted on their website. I had a great breakfast. I tried their regular eggs Benedict and their special fried chicken eggs Benedict. Both were very good. If you sit at the counter, it's cool to see the great kitchen staff at work. I'm glad Metro Diner decided to open in Pembroke Pines.

Good food at reasonable price and the potions are good size. Chicken and waffles are really good, get half a fried chicken. I recommend this place. The wait wasn't bad and we were there on a Saturday morning.

It's a real DINER! Some serious plate and creative flavor combinations that are delicious. Totally recommending the - buttermilk biscuit, honey drizzled fried chicken crunchy chicken sandwich. Waffles, perfect Eggs Benedict - surprised by the lightly balanced hollandaise sauce, was a great interpretation. Went twice in one week had the meatlovers omelet w/ toast. Hash browns rock crispy. Looking forward to many more items. Returned again, and had the sausage and gravy biscuits- total table share must have.

My friend who is from Jacksonville suggested this place because he loves the original at home. It was my first time, but I'm very impressed by the menu. The food was quality and really tasty, the portions are large however. They also serve bloody Mary's and mimosas for 2.99 everyday of the week! Great spot for brunch!!

This fairly new restaurant was first visited by a relative who gave it rave reviews. When we needed a nice spot for a Sunday birthday dinner, Metro Diner was remembered. The restaurant has a welcoming vibe. As you approach the door music can be heard coming from its speakers. There are benches on the outside and it sits adjacent to a pond, where ducks are in clear view with lush green landscaping. It sits stand alone in the shopping center that houses Club Iguana, and thankfully has its own separate parking. So, even though you're in the center of an active place, you feel as if you're tucked away at a country diner. The inside has tables with chairs and counter seating. There is a very nice screened in patio with a modern light and fan system that was set up for the party I attended. Our waiter was stopped many times to commend his efficiency and service while mainly working the party himself. The others who assisted were also attentive. Food! EVERYONE enjoyed the food which ranged from soup and sandwhich, meatloaf, spaghetti, and a fried chicken plate. The food was seasoned well and the portions were plentiful, and the prices were very reasonable. The menu does have a vegan friendly Advocado Wrap, salads, and other veggies you can order as sides. This is definitely a place I recommend, and something tells me the next time I go, they'll be a line out of the door. By the way, they also are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Everything is delicious all the time. That has really been my experience. If you want a table you will wait awhile so be prepared for that. If you don't want to wait, see if there is a spot at the bar.

Had the Monte Cristo sandwich here and it was the best Monte Cristo I've have in a long time! Could use a little bit more powdered sugar in my opinion, but I like things sweet! Also had the chili cheese chips, they were perfect! Soooo crispy and cheesey... Can't beat $2.99 mimosas and awesome service, they also play great muisc! @MiamiFoodGirl on Instagram! #MiamiFoodGirl

The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in. Debra took the time to explain the specials board and any questions we had for her! I ended up getting the stuffing waffle with mashed potatoes, turkey, and gravy. I couldn't believe how much food came on that plate for just $11. I definitely recommend, especially if you're in the mood for breakfast which they serve all day, amongst other things.

Metro Diner has constantly been rated as the best breakfast in Jacksonville so seeing one open in Pembroke Pines was exciting. During the time that I went to eat, it was well into the night and I was craving something outside of breakfast food (which is a rare occurrence for me). Metro Diner serves breakfast at all times of operation, but I opted to get French Dip which is roast beef with melted provolone on a 9″ hoagie roll and au jus for dipping and it included a side of fries (other options available). The food took a while to come out but the staff proactively addressed this by offering me broccoli and cheddar soup at no additional cost so no marks off for the courteous and attentive staff. In any case, the food was worth the wait and would offer my recommendation as the dip provided fully complimented the sandwich to add another layer of flavor. My girlfriend who was with me ordered a Philly Cheese Steak which came with sliced ribeye steak, provolone cheese, grilled onions and peppers. We have been to Philadelphia and ate a several authentic Philly Cheese Steak locations but my girlfriend stated that this sandwich was one of the best Philly Cheese Steaks she has eaten. Great place with delicious food. I am sure that the breakfast options hold the same standard to their dinner menu. Quick tip: their house wine is $4 a glass and while I did not order it during my visit, it would be worth looking into.
