Sheiks has been around for several years now and I'm glad it's still standing. The lunch specials are unbeatable - although if you are on a timed lunch scenario perhaps order ahead or go elsewhere, this is a loosely leisure lunch location meaning you'll be spending quite some time here between waiting to order and getting your food and perhaps even waiting for a table (snag a table and have one person go up to order to secure a spot) The doubles are delicious - although they have gotten skimp with filling and the sauces inside are only dabbed in center instead of drizzled over the chickpeas so you taste throughout all bites. The lamb biriyani was the least favorite of our orders this time around - the lamb was flavorful but a bit dry and the kids didn't enjoy fighting the meat off the bones. The roti bread itself is ALWAYS on point and a definite must to order a few to go. The lunch roti specials are just right - one of my kids had the chicken and highly enjoyed it. I always get the vegetable roti - they ran out of potatoes and they where highly missed in the wrap, wish they would offered to have substituted another veggie for the lack of potatoes. The goat roti was also very delicious and highly enjoyable. They were our of local made drinks which was a bummer since all the other options where sugary commercial drinks. Oh do try the house habanero sauce. If you can spare the time, definitely give Sheiks a try, possibly the yummiest West Indian food in Pines. The best recommendation I can share with the management is that the customer service can definitely improve (you can absolutely see preferential treatment towards the West Indian & Caribbean folks over others) - if someone not of aforementioned ethnic groups choose to bless your establishment by spending money there they should definitely get same treatment and food portions.

The food at his place is pretty good. But customer service could use some improvement. They’re a little bit slow even when there’s not a lot of people around you’ll be there waiting for your food for a good amount of time. Some other people that work there got a little attitude, if you want me to come back have a better personality, I guess I went to hours before closing and I ordered a side of shrimp. Usually I get a decent amount and this time she charges for full price and my cup was barely in full when I went home, I noticed there was barely any shrimp in bowl. She could’ve been honest and said we are running low on shrimp. Would you like something else instead of charge me full price for something that’s barely in my bowl.

Every wednesday I pick the vegan daily special. White Rice with 3 vegetable. The sizes portion of it very reasonable for under $10.

This food is amazing! The Roti wrap sock chicken, pumpkin, and spinach is awesome! Great mix of flavors from the West Indies. Although, it’s really confusing where to order

I love a food adventure!!! I had no idea what type of food they served when I wondered inside in May. I asked the very nice customer in line in front of me what type of food they served and she said it was Guyanese food. She was kind enough to make some recommendations of what I should try. The staff was amazing!!! They were so patient as I asked more questions. Well I have now been there 3 times! Each time the food is more DELICIOUS! Fresh ingredients and flavors that make you return for more. My favorites so far are the pumpkin OMG delicious! The cabbage, eggplant, and the vegetable or the chicken roiti (hope I spelled that correctly) are so yummy. I highly RECOMMEND this restaurant!!!

SO DELICIOUS AND TASTY I’m so happy I stopped by after the gym. Unexpectedly drove by and had to make a u turn. I bought a chicken roti and a veggie roti. NO disappointment. The hot sauce and tamarind sauce the lady kindly offered me was IMPRESSIVE. will be back.

Great place if you're in the mood for some West Indian food. I love their roti skins and the curry goat. Their portions are well worth the money. The lines are always very long, even if you call ahead of time. Staff is very polite and patient, especially since I'm not familiar with their cuisine. They have offered free samples to me.

The food is always good and tasty at Sheiks. The customer service can be improved. The wait time just to order was long. When someone mentioned it, the staff member got an attitude and started slamming things around. Finally, another employee was in the middle of taking our order. A phone call came in and she just walked away for about 10 mins. Didn't even say excuse me... but she did apologize when she returned. Then, someone who was behind in the line was served ahead of us..I believe she was a regular, but still. I would love to support this restaurant but they must improve their customer service.

Absolutely the best West Indian/ Caribbean cuisine south of the I-595 and north of Miami! This place is 100% legit and I would eat there everyday if I could! Must try: Fried rice w/BBQ chicken, goat curry w/puri. Prices: fair for the quality of food, except the pastries which are a bit small and over priced, delicious none the less. Atmosphere: not the nicest place to dine in unless you want to grab something in a hurry and cannot wait to eat. Very warm inside, but not a deterrent, this place has amazing food. Good customer service. Can be slow at times especially around lunch and closing times. In addition to cooked food they have a small grocery, fresh foods and frozen section, unsure of pricing but always seems to be well stocked. They also do catering. Be sure to call ahead and place order, they can be a bit tardy but make up for it in customer service and food quality is stellar. Your guests will love it! Make sure you check their hours of operation before going. Been caught a few times going there on Mondays only to find out they are closed on Mondays! My only regret is not finding this place sooner.

Fantastically tasty and great variety of West Indian items Can take a while to get what you need, so don't go when you're in a rush...well-worth the wait. Not much for atmosphere, but I was not there for atmosphere. 🙂

Don’t waste your time even if you order ahead they never prepare the food ordered almost an hour ahead waited 20 minutes in store for them to tell me they run out of pumpkin. This place is always super unprofessional and horrible attitude from some of the cashiers. Been going here since they open and it’s gone down the drain experience always horrible

The food is delicious. The employees are friendly. The selection of grocery items from the Caribbean is great. The reason I'm knocking 3 stars off is that the waiting in line is ridiculously long. There's no system for picking up the orders that were ordered by phone. It makes no sense, you might as well wait in line without pre-ordering. There is also a convenience fee for using credit cards!!! My order was $35 and they wanted to charge $1.50. There should be no reason why this company should pass on its credit card fees to its customers. I inquired about the limit to avoid the fee, but they couldn't explain. I am tremendously disappointed.

I visited this restaurant quite often for lunch break (2 years ago). The food is DELICIOUS but the service and their routine is HORRIBLE. On many occasions, I’ve had issues going here, from calling ahead and my food not being ready, to waiting FOREVER in line. Google just notified me to give this place a review, so I’m reviewing from my experiences two years ago because I stopped patronizing that place…. I started going to the restaurant next door to them.

The staff was not receptive upon entering the restaurant. I told the waitress, I had never been to this establishment before. She was not very helpful in answering my questions about the menu. It appeared no one wanted to be there. Once I told her what I wanted she then tried to get me to purchase individual items instead of buying the Specials. The food was good and next time I will select my food prior to going to restaurant.

Very disappointing experience overall. Food was bland and their customer service is barely acceptable... Ordered 2 lunch specials (one roti and one with rice), bara, aloo balls, doubles, cheese rolls, mithai, a bottle of pepper sauce and two Nestle peanut punches... The chicken curry was beyond bland. The roti was undercooked (center was raw). The bara- bland. Aloo balls- powdered box potatoes and coated with the bara batter... 🙄 Didn't even have a hint of salt. We didn't eat/try the doubles because we were too overwhelmed by the exorbitant amount of money spent on such a disappointment... Let's stop here and not get into the extremely poor customer service...

Unfortunately, today is my last day coming to this place for food. The people work here are very nice. The food is excellent. The cost of the food is reasonable. However, the checkout process at the cash register is a mess sometimes. I have come here regularly and once the cash register was not working. And today I gave my credit card and the employee didn’t know whether it charged me or not and the computer kept saying it’s a Cash transaction. Then I was told I should call my credit card company. And the thing is I just don’t have the time to call my credit card company, I am a Frontline worker. I just want to come have hot food, pay for it, enjoy the food, and not have to worry about my charges. I’m giving five stars because the people are nice and the food is good, but I am not returning. It was the last straw today, and the way the employee handled it I didn’t like it.

Never had the opportunity to try the food. I called an order in and when I arrived I was told the meals were still cooking. I called the order in 2 hours before I arrived. To that point they asked for some patience and I was very eager to try them out. I left and came back an hour after that and they still had no food ready or they just have given my order to someone else. The staff appeared to be confused and completely unorganized. Won’t be going back.

The food was very good. We ordered a large chowmein with tandoori chicken( comes with 4 pieces), a goat dhall puri and beef roti. This was my first time eating any kind of roti and very pleased. The goat curry doesn’t come in the dhall puri due to bones but it’s so good! Next the chicken tandoori was super tender. Chow mein had good and interesting flavors. Beef roti was tasty but everything else V was better. Will definitely return. Service was kind. They didn’t have my phone order ready but took 5 min and didn’t sit in the wraps to get soggy.

I’ve never had sweet and sour chicken that taste as good as the one here at Sheiks Bakery. It tastes fresh every time and the chicken is soft. The sauce is the perfect amount of sweet and sour. Once you bite the chicken you’ll taste the deliciousness and softness in the chickens texture. The service was polite and service was speedy. Overall, I’m impressed and highly recommended this place for anyone looking to have a deliciously made sweet and sour chicken.
