I have been ordering cookie cakes for over 10 years from Mrs. Fields in the Pembroke Lakes Mall and this is the first time I've ever had an issue. I ordered a cake, in person, with the manager. When I went to pick up the cake, she was already arguing with another customer, which ended with the customer walking away without buying anything. Then, it was my turn. I asked for the cake I ordered, with this same exact manager the day I placed the order, and the cake was incorrect. Her solution was to scrape off the mistakes or write over them... I asked if that would even look good and she shrugged and said "yea," which was not reassuring. There was not enough time to purchase another cake. The whole experience was not what I've come to expect. I'm not paying for these expensive cakes to have them done incorrectly. This current manager is not friendly or accommodating. I miss the old management. I am disappointed and unimpressed.

Treats costumers and employees like garbage, Owners / Managers are rude and steal tips from employees. Also the place is very dirty on the inside and outside, oven hasn’t been cleaned in ages

I don’t know if the same people still own this establishment but lol I have a story. When I was in undergrad I used to work here and it was pretty much my first job ever. I was maybe 16 years old. The girl who worked with me went to Flanagan and basically broke down the job to me within the first week. Pretty simple. What was very odd and kinda funny looking back because at the time, I was actually kind of afraid, but she said we weren’t allowed to talk to eachother and the owners were watching us at all times. She would cry because of how overworked she was (a high schooler) and how taken advantage of she felt. She said the guy was always watching the cameras even after hours and would call her and she seemed to be very anxious around the entire thing which gave me a general bad vibe as well. They were also not the nicest people. The owner looked like a literal vampire and the little Latin woman who worked with him was kinda giving the same energy but smaller. Just not the friendliest or happiest looking people lol. We would work until about 2 ish am, my mom made me quit because I was a high schooler and I didn’t understand it at the times but yeah......this was nuts. Idk if they still work there or if it’s still the same structure but that was odd lol. I wanted to share. Besides that cookies are awesome.

Since this past Christmas holiday I’ve been getting the chocolate chip nibblers. The 24 count to be exact. I’ve been going pretty much every other day for the same order. The staff laugh every time they see me because I’m there so much. And just yesterday I ordered my usual. Sat down at home to watch a movie and began to eat my cookies and I bit into one and began chewing and felt something stringy in my mouth. Of course to spit it out in a paper towel to find a looooong strand of hair that was not mine. I do not have straight hair I actually have dreads. And I’m sure the hair must have been baked into the cookie. Totally disgusting and totally disappointed. Management needs to implement hair nets to cover all hair. I was totally disgusted feeling that strand of hair in my mouth all mixed in with the cookie.

It was hard to believe that when my daughter bought cookies that 20 nibblers cost $16 just because they care in a box? No prices listed anywhere? Why not? The employees were quick to run and get the obnoxious manager at the first sign there was trouble at the counter.

If I could give 1 start I would have! Horrible customer service! I was next in line and the cashier decided to serve someone who was standing off to the side! I buy from this place often but after that I won’t! Never felt so disrespected as he threw up his hands and said “Well I don’t know who was next”. Rude and unprofessional. What’s the point of a line if it will get disregarded because of a fussy customer? Train employees better.

I frequent this shop several times a week. I normally don’t have an issue but lately my cookies have been really hard. The reason why I like to get my cookies from there is because I like soft chewy cookies but lately they have been very hard and dry. My other issue is now they have a new employee that works there…a young man with dusty looking black hair. He always looks unkept/ not clean. Ive noticed on several occasions he has dandruff flakes along the collar of his shirt. His hair is always all over the place. Why not have them wear hair nets? This young man needs a crash course on how to look presentable at work…especially when working around food. I hate when he takes my order because I just know one day I’m going to find hair in or on one of my cookies. Management please consider talking with him about hygiene and looking the part to sell your goods.

Ordered cookies for pre-Christmas delivery, and they never arrived. Still waiting. Mrs. Fields says they have a 30 day shelf life, so eat it whenever they get here.

I have been a fan of Mrs. Fields cookies since I was a teenager in Chicago. I thought the chocolate chip cookie would taste as good as the cookies and ordered one for my child's birthday. The presentation was very nice but the taste was not great. Everybody in my family including my child expressed their dislike for the cake. I thought it would taste better than Publix chocolate cookie cakes because of the name and expense. The cookie had no real taste but sugar and no one wanted seconds which is unusual for desserts in my home. I dont know if they didnt mix the ingredients right or what but it was not great.

I worked in that store and it is one of the worst experience of my life, I’ve never been paid any tips, I don’t recommend this place at all, the managers are rude to customers and employees, they treat employees badly and are rude to them

My son and I just stopped at the Pines location and asked for assistance and was told by Valentina that she’s busy and couldn’t not help us and went on back talking to her coworker. She’s rude and should not be working with the public. Dr. Adams
