Good
food
on
take
out
order
but
last
trip
we
dined-in
and
got
a
different
experience.
The
food
for
pick
up
for
my
first
time
was
amazingly
fast
at
15
minutes
(several
places
have
told
me
that
they
are
prioritizing
deliveries
and
pick
ups,
I
understand
since
most
people
have
switched
to
take
outs
since
the
pandemic).
I
was
amazed
how
fast
and
good
the
take
out
food
was
for
a
regular
restaurant.
The
last
visit
was
different
though.
My
mom
and
her
friend
decided
to
go
out
to
eat
so
we
came
to
village
tavern
and
try
out
the
rest
of
the
menu.
Wait
time
was
45
minutes
but
it
seemed
like
less.
My
mom’s
friend
was
starving
so
she
was
a
bit
aggressive
since
she
wanted
to
take
a
table
that
was
waiting
for
the
next
party
to
arrive.
When
we
finally
got
our
table,
we
had
a
friendly
waiter
and
we
ordered
a
crab
appetizer
and
some
complimentary
bread
(upon
request
according
to
the
menu).
The
bread
was
extremely
hard
but
warm.
My
mom’s
friend
claimed
it
was
stale
bread
and
requested
a
new
batch.
She
was
right,
the
replacement
basket
was
filled
with
soft
hot
bread.
Unfortunately
when
you
make
the
bread
“upon
request”
only,
it
tends
to
leave
bread
waiting
under
a
heat
lamp
for
a
while
since
many
people
might
just
expect
bread
instead
of
asking
for
it
(not
everyone
reads
the
whole
menu
like
me).
My
mom
hated
the
crab
dish
because
she
claimed
she
tasted
cheese,
i
didn’t
taste
the
cheese
but
it
did
taste
like
a
regular
tuna
salad
when
i
just
add
mayonnaise
to
a
can
of
tuna.
They
garnished
it
with
a
lemon
wedge
which
did
make
it
taste
much
better
once
we
added
the
lemon
juice.They
are
a
craft
kitchen
so
everything
is
made
on
site
at
the
moment
so
when
I
ordered
lemonade
I
was
hoping
for
the
one
your
mom
makes
for
you
in
the
hot
summer
days,
but
my
drink
tasted
like
the
lemon
water
you
get
for
a
cold
remedy.
It
was
bitter
and
had
no
sugar
added
which
is
ok
for
a
diabetic
like
me
but
not
for
normal
public
consumption.
My
mom
liked
her
Cajun
cream
seafood
pasta
(she
hates
cheese
or
butter
so
we
were
happy
she
had
a
creamy
dish
she
didn’t
complained
about
all
night).
My
grouper
Hemingway
was
a
bit
overcooked
on
the
fish
and
the
pasta
(I
switched
fettuccine
for
the
usual
angel
hair
pasta)
was
a
bit
underdone
with
no
taste.
The
sauce
was
either
not
mixed
well
with
the
dish
or
they
just
didn’t
strain
the
water
out
properly
before
adding
the
pasta
to
it.
My
mom’s
friend
said
her
shrimp
risotto
is
ok.
So
we
had
a
Goldilocks
reaction
with
all
three
dishes.
One
underwhelmed,
one
ok
and
one
that
was
loved.
Since
there
were
two
different
experiences
with
this
restaurant,
I
want
to
try
again
with
a
different
dish.
The
meals
were
served
within
15
minutes
and
I
do
believe
they
are
making
it
all
on-site.
The
staff
is
helpful
in
trying
to
address
any
issues
we
had
that
day.
I
would
however
recommend
they
offer
the
bread
up
front
when
the
guests
sit
down
so
they
don’t
have
stale
bread
accumulating
under
the
heat
lamp.
I
would
have
thought
that
was
the
quality
of
their
bread
had
my
mom’s
friend
not
rejected
the
first
batch.
It
has
convenient
parking
next
to
the
restaurant
unlike
the
other
places
in
this
plaza
which
is
always
full
because
they
are
surrounded
by
shops,
so
I
encourage
people
to
give
it
a
try.
