I
love
seafood
but
let's
face
it:
finding
good
seafood
in
this
COASTAL
state
is
like
finding
a
unicorn.
It's
always
overcooked
and
rubbery,
like
eating
an
old
tire
on
a
bed
of
regret.
Enter
Red
Lobster,
the
reigning
champ
over
TIRE-inspired
cuisine.
But,
with
their
recent
revival
of
Endless
Shrimp,
the
hubbs
and
I
decided
to
give
them
one
more
chance
to
prove
us
wrong.
In
the
past,
when
we've
gone
there
to
indulge
in
their
bottomless
enticement
of
shrimp,
they
were
always
out
of
most
varieties.
This
time,
however,
they
utterly
bounced
back
from
the
7th
ring
of
overcooked
seafood
h*ll.
Their
lobster
mashed
potatoes
was
the
stuff
of
dreams.
Creamy
and
tasty,
but
sadly,
not
much
lobster
and
the
little
bit
it
did
have
was
chopped
so
small
it
could
have
been
mistaken
for
leftover
crumbles.
But
the
sauce
on
the
potatoes
was
amazing,
so
I
looked
past
the
lobsterless
promises
of
lobster.
We
also
had
the
seafood
stuffed
mushrooms.
WOW!!!!
If
you
like...no,
no,
if
you
LOVE
mushrooms,
you
have
to
try
them.
I
mean,
even
if
you
don't,
you
HAVE
to
try
them.
Then
there
was
the
shrimp.
One
of
my
RED
LOBSTER
favs
has
always
been
their
coconut
shrimp,
so
when
the
server
told
me
they
were
out,
I
almost
left.
But,
I
had
her
ask
to
be
sure,
and
after
a
ten
minute
trek
to
the
kitchen,
she
told
us
they'd
just
gotten
a
shipment
of
my
favorite
oceanic
friends.
Naturally,
we
ordered
them,
along
with
the
the
dragon
shrimp
and
the
tequila
lime
shrimp,
which
left
us
asking
if
they'd
forgotten
to
add
tequila,
lime
and
salt.
The
coconut
shrimp
and
the
pina
colada
sauce
were
amazing!
The
sauce
made
me
a
little
sad
that
the
condiment
cup
was
so
small
because
honestly,
the
sauce
so
good,
I
wanted
swim
in
it.
The
dragon
shrimp
was
outstanding,
a
little
spicy,
sweet
and
outrageously
incredible.
Of
course
there
was
their
cheddar
bay
biscuits,
which
need
no
description,
only
moans
of
joy
and
pangs
of
carby
guilt.
My
one
complaint
was
that
the
server,
though
nice,
was
so
slow
in
getting
to
us
for
anything
that
I
truly
felt
like
we
was
being
served
by
a
sloth,
which
was
frustrating
because
it
was
just
after
2pm,
and
the
place
was
nearly
empty.
That
said,
we
loved
the
food
so
we
will
definitely
be
going
back
to
the
Pines
location.
On
another,
both
the
sauces
were
so
incredible
that
the
minute
I
got
home,
I
looked
up
copycat
recipes,
AND
FOUND
THEM!!!
YAY!
