Wow was I surprised by this location. Needed some quick vegan food to eat before a night out, and I was delighted by the amount of options to eat and drink at this location. Friendly, interesting, and had much more to offer. They had a small crystal shop, bar, chill ambiance, and live music (i think it was friday night open mic). Everything madr fresh from scratch with love.

Super cool place with unique atmosphere. The food was great. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and polite. We were there on Saturday, and there was live music. Definitely coming back 👍

Just landed and immediately started looking for vegan food - this place came up and it was close to the airport with great reviews. Did not disappoint! Loved everything that I ordered, everything is vegan GF. I ate a LOT but wasn’t too full leaving. Highly recommend.

Really close to the airport. A gluten free friend and I went for a late night dinner and got the small bento box option to try some of everything and we liked everything we tried. The small version was surprisingly filling, and personal favorites included the Community Bowl and potato salad. The vibe inside was very cool and intimate, with lots of regulars and an open mic. Great place, and if I ever go to FLL again, I'll stop by :)

THE ONLY CLEAN HEALTHY PLANT BASED RESTAURANT IN MIAMI FLORIDA. The vegan food, if you eat healthy and plant based, is SO bad in miami I wanted to cry. I eat super clean at home so when I eat out I can tell by how my stomach reacts how clean it is. The dishes are simple and are menu items you’ve heard of before, but are executed well. On a weekend night the restaurant is a vibe and definitely somewhere you go for the culture and is a late night spot. Dennis the owner is a lovely human being who takes what he does seriously, and actually delivers which is more than I can say for the other 99% of restaurants around here.

Delicious, creative vegan food, mostly peanut free. Amazing pad thai with kelp noodlez!!! Mostly sugar and flour free, too!! Fresh fruit smoothies. Located on the street with all the antique shops. A lovely afternoon!!

My new favorite place. So many amazing vegan options. I loved the Live Pad Thai, Community Bowl, Potato Salad, Buddha Burger and Tuna Pate. The raspberry pie is the best and it’s made with real raspberries. I’m excited to try more items on their menu including their coffees and teas. They have open mics, comedy shows and other great events.

I'm not even vegan, but this place is SO good. They're known for their incredible desserts, but since I'm not much of a sweet eater, my favorites, in order, are the "save-the-tuna" paté with onion bread, kelp noodle Pad Thai, and the potato salad. I love how everything is super fresh, organic, and gluten free. The teas are pretty bomb too. Definitely try to go on one of their open mic or yoga nights, highly recommended!

I came here on layover at FLL airport with my gf who has dietary restrictions. We were blown away by Zen Mystery, which seems to belong more in a trendy Montreal neighbourhood than in a retiree haven like FL. Food was great: all vegan and gluten-free. The owner understood our dietary needs and was very friendly. The ambience was hip, with live music, books on theme, curiosities everywhere--I even stayed to play at their open mic. A 5 min bus ride on Bus 1 (southbound) from the airport shuttle terminus. Highly recommended!

Amazing spot! Highly recommend the Buddha burger on onion bread. The & bento box is great so you can try a few things too. So many good flavors. The owner was incredibly friendly. Wish I was local so I could stop here all the time!

It's easy to pass by the entrance for this place. Luckily, Dennis ran into my friend and I, looking super lost while trying to find the entrance. The atmosphere inside is cozy with decorative pillows and soft dim lighting. Lots of polished rocks and geodes and a bohemian vibe. I wish I had taken a picture, but I got the humma guaca sandwich, and it was so tasty! Visually appealing. Super fresh ingredients. Everything is vegan and gluten-free, and as someone who has no dietary restrictions, I would still go back if I am ever in town. And the jam night was so cool. Even though it was scary to get on stage, Jordan encouraged me to try and have fun with it and sing some of his songs with him. Wishing you all the best! Since my friend and I are from Portland, Oregon, we really felt right at home!

I went with a friend who was playing on open mic night (Thursdays) and had a great time. All the musicians jammed together and anyone can pick up and join in. The food is great too. Everyone is friendly, and the atmosphere is great.

One of the best vegan restaurants I’ve tried out here!!! I love the pad Thai, the tuna, the hummus, the kale salad, and most of all THE CRAB CAKES!!! They are to die for! It’s always a great atmosphere here and Dennis is lovely! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Ended up here on our wedding anniversary because we were staying at Margaritaville, 10 minutes away which had no vegan options. Glad we found this spot. Great tasting healthy food, cool vibe, and neat spot to checkout. Great service too. We'll be back!

It's the place you didn't know you needed! The food is impeccable, the owners are amazing you feel completely at home each visit. I end up staying, chatting, and catching up with old friends each time i visit. I teach metaphysical holistic classes here as well and the atmosphere and space is exactly what i needed to expand my business goals. 🙌 So thankful to have found it!

When the universe gently places an invitation to a fantastic, healthy, gluten free and vegan meal, within walking distance of your Airbnb...you take the invitation. I'm so glad I did. The food was amazing! (I had the crab cakes over kale salad). The cheesecake is delicious as are the brownies. The ambiance, vibe and conversation felt like I had been coming to the place for years. To say it was inviting is an understatement. It's difficult to find good gluten free veg/vegan meals when traveling. It's mysterious how Zen Mystery just appeared in a perfect location for me, but I'm glad it did.

Honestly, the best vegan restaurant I have tried near Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Home cooking, with food made from scratch. High quality ingredients. Helthy food, good for the body, mimd and soul!

Great food, great vibe, great books, great space! One of the best hidden gems that's been here for 10 years! Highly recommended if you're vegan or not, it all tastes amazing.

Love This place, it’s is a true gem! Located about 35mins from Miami Beach, Zen Mystery is a favorite spot to stop into for dinner. They are only open Thursday through Saturday so plan accordingly! It’s not to be missed if you’re looking for a true organic establishment that is honest and has the best food. The food is 100% Organic and Vegan. The Pad Thai and the Burger on kale are favorites and no meal is complete without the chocolate pie and scoop of vanilla ice cream. Thank you Denis and team for putting so much good energy into the food. It’s always consistent and delicious. Always a must stop when we are in town!

We had an unexpected layover in Ft. Lauderdale and weren’t thrilled about the disruption- until we found Zen Mystery! The food was delicious (we tried basically everything), live music was awesome, and staff incredibly friendly and welcoming! 10/10

We love supporting local organic vegan restaurants so we were super excited to try this place. We saw that there was comedy night the same night we were going, so we signed up to see that also. The comedy was so crowded that it was impossible to see the front, very poorly organized. We ordered food and 45 minutes later they still had not gotten to our food ticket. We paid for our drinks and left, we didn't stay for the comedy. They were understaffed and unorganized, which didn't give us a good experience at all. Wouldn't go again. The only reason we are giving 3 stars instead of 1 star is because everything there is vegan and organic, which we love.

This organic cafe has AMAZING food and such nice people, you can tell there's a home type atmosphere for the regulars with lots of books to read and music at night. I had the bento bowl with 5 different dishes and everything was wonderful. Found myself on an unexpected layover in FLL and grateful to find healthy delicious vegan food and good vibes on the way🙏🥕🥬🥑✨ Would be a regular spot if I lived here!

I've been a going to Zen for many years & enjoy the people I meet, the music, musicians / commedians been wanting to try the food & the throw back atmosphere is always comfortable. Friendly family owner staff....you'd be wise to ignore the sad reviews from the non adventurous!

Filthy smelly dark hole in the wall. We literally ran out the second we ran in. There was no live band. We did not dare try the food with that awful smell. The building is super old. They share the building with 3 other businesses. They don't greet you when you walk in the door. It seems a highly suspicious place like I don't know what goes on in there and I don't want to know. Just a few homeless looking people there. Do NOT waste your time.
