The service here is friendly, fast, and has a cozy atmosphere. The food taste fresh and portions are a good size. Honestly their pita bread and hummus are so delicious, these are brought to you before you order anything - I was surprised how good these taste! The main meal was also so good.

Hellooo!! We drove for about forty minutes from miami beach to have dinner at mezes!!! We had a bunch of dishes, so I will forget some but take a look at the pictures. Everything was just fantastic but the spinach tart which wasnt that great!!! Service needs to improve a bit. Wine presentation. Wine pouring. Guest interaction. We will come back any time soon. Decent place. The food is pretty good but not memorable enough to make it a regular stop for me. Found the server to be extremely impatient, asked repeatedly for our order when we said we were trying to decide and needed an additional moment. It was just kind of unnecessarily pushy as the restaurant was about 1/3 full, and we weren't taking an extended amount of time to settle on what we wanted. The bottom line is that the food is under seasoned for my liking. I'm Greek and picky about the food of my culture, obviously, but salt and pepper on a horiatiki salad goes a long way to rounding out the flavors in the dish. The gyro meat was good, tender, and yummy as it should be. I'm not a fan of plastic ramekins of sauce on plates at a sit-down full service restaurant either. It cheapens the experience. Save that for quick service and fast food places and splurge on some proper vessels for sauce. I had hoped for something local to me to live up to my regular haunts in northern Broward (just moved to Miramar), but this isn't the place for me.

For lunch. Nice small place with great food 😄 I enjoy eating a delicious Pork Souvlaki with Dolmadakia to share. Gyro Dinner was perfect 😋 Chicken Plater &Hummus was excellent combination. Spanakopita was just perfect 😋 The Moussaka was exquisite. We had a perfect lunch with Real Greek Service

We started off with hummus and pita for appetizer and it was amazing. The hummus was one of the best I've tried. It was really creamy! It also comes with a lot of pita bread. The gyros were really good. Very stuffed. The fries are potato wedges and they were fried crisp to perfection. 5/5

Fast service, good portions. My lamb chops were great. Wife had the grilled chicken platter, and the chicken had a fishy taste to it.

The service is always great. They are attentive and friendly. As you are seated, they go over the daily specials and bring over hummus and pita for the table. I usually order the lamb chops with lemon potatoes and roasted red peppers, or the lemon chicken. My friend loves the grilled Salmon. The Shrimp Saganaki, Shrimp Mythos, and greek salads are also great dishes. 5/5

Best roasted chicken in a restaurant in many years. The service was prompt, polite, and very professional. I wish more restaurants were as focused. The mousse was light, delicate, and delicious. I look forward to enjoying this place again.

They have so many different appetizers and dishes that are delicious and fresh here. I love the Tatziki and Hummus. The Spanakopita and Calamari are also really good. You really can’t go wrong with the food here. The service is always attentive and kind. The ambience of the restaurant is comforting and has lovely decor. They have outdoor seating that is available. I have ordered them for pick up and delivery and the quantity and quality of food is always as good and consistent. The Lamb Chops and the Keftedakia main dishes are some of my favorites. The Baklava and Kourabiedes (butter cookies with almonds) are tasteful and crisp.

MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT OF ALL TIME EVER! Greek is my favorite food and I’m always on the quest for the best! Mezes is IT! Everything from the seafood, creamy hummus/pita, and AMAZING service is top ties here. My family and I come here at least once a month because of how fresh and tasty the food is. The service is always excellent and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re part of the family.

This is our second time here and both times food and service have been wonderful! Our waiter Tomas was so enthusiastic! I love that, nobody wants a guy that looks and sounds like they just rolled out of bed! Lol He seems to enjoy what he does and he reflects that in his service. Kudos to him and to the chef! The cheese dish with brandy, the hummus and the eggplant was all delicious! We will be back many more times for sure.

Nice. Bright. Clean. Friendly. Quite busy but not packed. Relatively quiet. Food seems to be nice (smell-neutral environment). Dishes are quite standard for a regular Greek place, although not really cheap.

Dining experience has always been consistent--great food and prompt, friendly service. Shared sangria and a few apps with my family--hummus with pita, calamari, and falafel. Mains included solomos salad, chicken Athena, lemon chicken, and the chicken platter. All were delicious and we had plenty of leftovers. Great neighborhood spot!

Stopped here with my girlfriend for lunch. Had their chicken salad which was great. The grilled chicken was super tasty! Loved the pita & hummus they give you on the house. Overall a nice experience.

The food was awesome. I drove 45 minutes so I could eat here with some family visiting. They loved it as well. The hummus is so fresh and delicious.

After seeing this on Check Please I couldn't wait to try. I must say we were very disappointed. My husband can't eat tomatoes so he told the waiter this. He ordered no tomatoes on his salad and asked if there were any in the green beans. Waiter says no but his plate showed up with green beans full of tomatoes. Had to send it back. Cames back cold. The waiter seemed very frazzled. The food was ok. Waiter forgot an appetizer and drink refills. Definitely not worth the money and would not recommend.

We were always curious about this restaurant and we decided to go tonight. Turned out to be a great choice. The service was phenomenal. Our server/waiter was very attentive And friendly, and had some great suggestions. We decided to have the calamari, moussaka and gyro platter. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. The portions were also very generous. Glad we had a chance to try out this restaurant. We will definitely visit again. The experience was amazing and overall their menu has much to offer.

Food is good. Service was friendly and fast. Cheese saganaki was delicious, eat it quickly before it cools down. Hummus is so good. Had to order it even though you get a side of it with your falafel 🧆 order. Avgolemono soup was good. It was my first time trying it.

Tried Greek Paella Orzo was cooked to perfection. Chicken and all seafood (shrimp, mussels and octopus) were fresh and are of good quality. Overall taste of the dish was good. Only drawback was that the seafood had soapy texture to them and that set the taste off. Update- lemon Chicken had an amazing blend of flavors but the chicken was dry/ slightly over cooked

Nice Greek place near me! Ordered the pork souvlaki and it was made to perfection! Requested for the meat to be chopped smaller and they listened! They provide pita w/hummus for the table and the hummus is on point! Definitely a place to come back and eat.

LOVE Mezes, used to live in Pembroke Pines and would dine here often, now I live 2 hours away and will drive down just for this amazing Greek food!!! I always have the roast chicken and my husband the lamb chops!!!! Lydia & Joe

I love Mezes and I'm pretty picky. The service is very personal and homey. All through the pandemic we have been going to their outside tables. Their hummus is the best and I make my own which doesn't compare. The Greek food is outstanding and they have one dish that isn't even on the menu. The flounder covered in cheese with lemon potatoes and the prices are reasonable. I actually would sound like a plant if I didn't find something wrong. I read in a review that the Greek salad left something to be desired. Correct on that point. Mezes, you can do better! One of my go to places.

This is our first time in this Greek restaurant and my family and I really liked it. We ordered a plate with various meats and it was very tasty .

The chicken was dry. We sat the entire meal with no water refills. Everything else was delicious.

We had our 1st meal there last night, and everything about this restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious beyond belief, Niko was awesome— he told us background information on Greek traditions and values. It was not like any of the chain restaurants, where they try to rush you out the door for the next table sitting. This is 100% going to be someplace we go to again

I loved the lamb chops

We ordered a side of tzaziki which came with even more warm pita! Then my younger brother ordered chicken tenders and fries from the kids menu, I got a baked flounder with spinach and cheese & lemon potatoes. For dessert we shared a baklava. It was amazing and big enough for all of us.

If you like middle Eastern food this is the restaurant for you service is attentive and entertainment some nights. My family and I ate several dishes. Each dish was excellent. We went there several times and was pleased with whatever we ordered. Good for family or couples or business!

Best Lamb chops I’ve ever had! Seasoned so well and comes with a good side of potatoes and veggies. Does not come with a side of rice, but you can order it for extra. Service was quick even though it was pretty busy, and the staff is friendly. First Impression: Would definitely come back again to try other dishes!

Without a doubt the best restaurant I have been to in South Florida, and the best Greek food I’ve had in my life. So, so good. One of those restaurants where the ingredients are so flavorful and fresh, you know whatever they put in front of you is going to be delicious. Seriously, I can’t say enough good things about Mezes and their great wait staff. Bravo!

The meal was ok. The food didn’t wow me. I’ve had better Greek for elsewhere but the pita bread and the gyro meat here was very good. That’s the only reason why it’s getting 3 stars. The salad and the fries just didn’t do it for me. Overall it was a pleasant experience. I’d go back again just for the pita bread and the hummus.

They are always fast accommodating and the food is always really good. Love going to this place with my co workers for lunch.

Greek food isn't my favorite but this restaurant surprised me. The owner is Greek and he brings a lot of typical products and spices directly from his country. Food tastes unusually good and different. The lamb chops are delicious with lemon potatoes and roasted red peppers. I like the lemon chicken too. OMG! Please order one of those chocolate cakes with hazelnut they got at the front. The recipe is Greek and they taste like heaven!!! (if you're a fan of chocolate. Obviously). You can also order a baklava. It is amazing and big enough for two. Service is excellent. Nothing bad to say.
