Young at Art Museum used to be huge, it is currently a small shop in a mall. I hope they are able to expand back into its original greatness one day. They have a lot of interactive art/things for children to do and play with.

What an amazing place. I had the pleasure visiting and enjoyed all the amenities. The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating. Everyone made it a point to welcome me, thank me, and make sure I was enjoying my visit. There are so many resources in one location. I enjoyed the event tremendously and loved every moment. The recycled fashion show was awesome. Thank you for keeping the arts alive in Broward County. Looking forward to many more opportunities to join such an awesome team.

My great nieces and nephews absolutely loved this museum. They were excited from beginning to end. They were overjoyed to build a circus shadow puppet with special guest artist, David Goboff! I even made one!! A staff member named Carolyn(?) was so very friendly and inviting. The lady at cash register was the same. There is a gift stand next to cash register. Not much to choose from but that’s not of interest to the kids so not a big deal. After completing shadow puppet we went to museum and they had quite a few areas set up that kept the kids busy. They could water paint, one of my nieces made a American flag. The museum is quite unique. It’s located inside Broward Mall near Dillards. Definitely plan to visit again. The cost was very reasonable; $10. I recommended looking on site to see if any special event or guest because that will be included in fee. I love this museum and it’s set up accommodate kids of all ages!!!

First off I never write reviews so make note. This place is a complete and utter joke. It used to be in a huge location with tons of interactive features to keep kids engaged for hours. Now it is in one of the smallest shops in the mall. The fact that they have the audacity to charge people $10 to visit is really ridiculous! $5 maybe worth it and that’s pushing it. After 15 minutes my son turned to me and said daddy is that it? I’m bored I want to go home. Don’t waste your time or money coming here. They should just shut the place down plain and simple stop wasting money if they can’t provide a good worthwhile experience.

Came today with my son and his classmates for the first time. We had been at their previous location in davie which was big and had a lot of activity and a big library. This location is inside the Broward mall. It was pretty small, but very cute. Definitely I recommend it for family with small elementary children. However I do not recommend it for field trip or big groups with kids. They have no bathroom inside and not much to do in there. Their private room for extra activity is literally in the other side of the mall. Definitely no ideal for big groups to walk from one side of the mall to the other side. The additional activity left a lot to desire. They seemed stingy with the clay and seemed rushed. Idk if I would come back.

Nice place located inside Broward mall for young kids. They can try different activities mostly coloring. Only problem is their area is too small. Good for only couple of hours hour due to space constraint.

Drove an hour with kids to visit museum. We came few years ago and loved it. Turns out they moved to the mall and even though it says Sunday hours 11-6pm they are closed. I’m sure it’s not their fault they needed to move but open/closed hours need to me more clear.

I went with my friends and we had a great time. Just so everyone is aware, it's on the 6th floor of the Beverly center on the left side of the Macy's. One thing that really made our experience was Will. He was an excellent employee who asked us if we wanted group photos and he did a great job!!!!! It was a great place to take pictures and hang out with friends. Would highly recommend.

We used to visit at the previous location and were so disappointed with the size of the place, there’s really not much for the kids to play with honestly, nothing compared to what it was before and definitely not worth the money for what you get. I mean if anything, they should only charge the kids and not the adults! Also, beware there’s NO RESTROOM inside, you have to use the bathroom outside which are near the exit of the mall, seems very unsafe for the kids who will be doing summer camp I mean a kid’s facility with no bathroom? The staff is super nice and kind though, I give them that.

My daughter is 8 years old. After 15 min, she was ready to go. The space is designed for much younger kids, maybe preschool leve at bestl. Seems like an ok place to take the little ones while others in your group go shipping in the mall. It's unfortunately a shadow of their once grandeous location in Davie. It's not bad, just not geared for older kids.

This place is a dump! We check our 3-year-old and we're in and out in less than 10 minutes. Arts and crafts they advertise were simply water painting, marker coloring and crayon coloring stations. This place should have just shut down for good. Not worth the 12-15 a head.

They are very friendly but the art installation were lacking in comparison to what it was. Finding the location was also hard as they are inside a mall.

its definitely cute, somewhere you can stop to keep kids entertained if your coming to this mall. unfortunately its a little expensive to get in for what you get its definitely not as big as it used to be and not much to do.They really enforce mask mandates even for small children which can be difficult since kids (especially mine) hate the mask. And theres also a lot of things that the kids cant touch which defeats the purpose of a children's museum if thats what you would still call yaa. Hopefully they can re-expand one day back to what they had before.

Went for a birthday party and ended up spending all day here with my 4 and 3 year olds. Lots to see and do. Clean place, friendly staff. Annual membership is worth it.

This place used to be in a beautiful large building and was an awesome museum. Drove all the way here today from Miami not realizing they had moved to a run-down shopping mall and are now in a small retail space. It is not even 1/3 of the size of the original museum and the fact that they still call it a museum is laughable. I threw away $40 to come here today as I thought it would be much bigger than it was. There is nothing to do here and my kids ended up coloring papers at a table which they could have done at home for free. Staff looks miserable and do nothing to engage the kids. Do not waste your money or time coming here!

My son and I spent the day at young at heart museum. We had an amazing time, storytime was great, doing art at each individual table was a great form of sensory play . The staff is amazing! Highly recommend.

The host was friendly and nice. I have been to the location in Davie and this new location does not compare. definitely not worth the price, it is really small compared to their previous location. I understand that covid may have caused them to relocate but the entrance fee is a bit excessive considering what they now offer (which is not much). All of the workers were on their phones and did not engage with the kids. When we went to the back to look at the different art rooms, one of the workers accused us of opening a door which we did not, it was already open.

My daughter (2.5 years old) and I had a great time here! It’s a very interactive art museum. We didn’t go when it was in the huge building but for what it is now - it’s still a lot of fun and a great way to spend part of the day. Plus - it’s very trendy now for pop up shops, art shows, etc to be in malls ( look at Aventura). We will be back!

The museum is small but full of character. My daughter is two and we were easily able to spend a couple of hours hanging out. There are things for her to do alone and for us to play together. Great combination of displayed artwork and creative play.

The museum has several rooms, including one of our personal favorite the glow in the dark room. They provide adorable smocks for children to wear and avoid getting overly soaked. Other rooms Included an abstract like experience. Great local spot for kids! Highly recommended.

Really drove 45 min to get to a mall??? nowhere on the website is mentioned that the museum moved, i had to go thru the reviews to find it out because we were confused why the map brought us to a mall. Its moved into a tiny shop inside a mall.we had to sit in the parking lot figure out where else to go ridiculous

I'm sorry but I write this way because it was a very special museum concept and it was once one of my son's favorite places... For those of us who visited the previous location in Davie a couple of years ago, it's very disappointing to go to this little place for almost the same price and not even a quarter of what the kids were able to see and do before. In addition, the few activities, they do not have a person who directs the activities, only papers on the tables with some instructions but without the necessary supplies to do the projects. This definitely does not deserve to be called a museum, nor should it cost more than 5 dollars to be there. Space is so limited that in less than an hour you already want to get out of there. I was there before when they had just moved to the mall and I found it disappointing however I thought that with time it would be better and I decided to give it another chance but I definitely won't go back there, it's not worth it. I do not recommend it. better you can take your children to the library and it's free.

Great place for children!! 100% childproof. Let them be free and enjoy. Our little one loved it so much he didn’t want to leave.

Kids loved it. The original YAA was much bigger, it has been reduced to a mall size store museum. We still spent about 3 hours there.

Compared to their old location, this would be a massive downgrade, but my kids under 11 enjoyed it. Any age over that would most likely see it as babyish. They had art stations, a kitchen set, a music station, one retro game spot, small art closets to view, and other common hands activities kids would enjoy at home. Also, a short painting class was given as well. Note: a group rate was given.

Broward Mall location: A mini version of what it used to be. It was a bit disappointing. Old location: Great place to spend a day. Soany fun things for kids to do. The video games exhibited were distracting for my 6yo. InnerSpace exhibit is super fun, glad we found it tho it is probably easy to miss.

Great for kids and adults! Customer service at cafe was lovely. There is so much to do there and AI much to learn. Definitely going back again. The price is very reasonable. Lots of parking.

This was a water of time and money. I didn't think this was gonna be such a huge downgrade from the previous location. So deceiving. I paid $48 for 4 of us including my 2 year old which I think should've been free. We literally went in and did a U-turn. I wanted to get the kids out the house but I should've taken them to a park therefore ai wouldn't have feel so cheated. They're isn't much for the kids to do at all. It's only $2 less from the previous locations and it's definitely isn't worth the time or money. Don't waste your time. You gonna regret this visit. If I could give 0 stars I would.
