I was servicing a family that need to have a funeral in a hall versus a church (religious reasons) and the Old Davie School made it happen! Kris was such a pleasant person and made the process very simple. She's very personable and extremely helpful before, during, and after your event. There is tons of parking which is a major plus. My team also got a tour of the museum on the day of our event and they said it was really nice. I want to chaperone a field trip there just for the experience.

We live very close to this place and never visited before. We attended the Back-to-school festival and we couldn’t have been happier. The museum has a few exhibits, but our favorites were the classroom and the pioneer house. There were several antique machines such as typewriters, telephones, etc. The staff was very friendly and informational. Definitely recommend visiting!

I purchased a walking tour at old Davie school. Like any tour-the tour guide is the key component, and she was a rockstar🌟. She even wrote a book about David that I purchased. It was about a mile stroll full of interesting facts and lovely sights. I highly recommend it. 1️⃣0️⃣

Only open upon request. Went based upon google maps hours listed. If you look at their website it clearly states by appointment only, so it’s really more of a google ding. But they should have the hours listed as always closed is my main feedback there was another guy there who was also confused. Campus looks good.

Hosting my birthday party on 10/28/23 at the Old Davie School Historical Museum was a wonderful experience. The staff were very accommodating when we had various requests. Kris really did her best to work with us which was much appreciated. When we arrived for the set up, we found the place was clean and the tables were already arranged according to our request. I would definitely host there again.

Old Davie was a amazing place to have our wedding!! They werensuper nice and friendly! We called sooooo many places and they were the only ones available for us to celebrate our special day!! I got to marry my best friend and reflect Gods glory that’s day, thanks to old Davie! Thank you!! The staff was super helpful! The hut we rented got burned off and they were so awesome to let us use somewhere else on campus that was bigger and helpful for amount of people we had!! It was perfect! Definitely a must go and place to do anything! Thank you again! Hope the pictures shows how happy we were on our wedding day 😊😊😊😊

We used Heritage Hall for the most beautiful baby shower! Such wonderful staff and very easy to work with!

This is the second time we have rented the Heritage Hall and the staff are amazing. They are always available to help and answer any questions. It makes working with them a great pleasure. I highly recommend having any and all types of events here.

I threw my mom a 75th birthday party at the Orange Villa. The space was perfect for about 35 people--intimate, charming, big enough to fit a caterer and a bar and three servers (with a kitchen in back for the caterer to work with), but small enough to feel cozy and warm. The staff could not have been easier or more pleasurable to work with. I was planning the whole thing from out of town, so I never actually got to see the space beforehand, but they walked me through everything and made it all work to perfection. I know it was a night my mom will never forget, and I'd recommend the space to anyone looking to have a similar party.

What a great place for a party. The Cafeteria has a lot of room for events like the Birthday party I attended.

I enjoyed the visit, Kim was an amazing tour guide, the Town of Davie is a magical place, with interesting anecdotes of historical value that I recommend knowing and enjoying with the family.

I visited this establishment to see about holding an event there. I was given a tour of the property and was very impressed. The buildings are very old and maintained well. I will be returning. This place should be visited by everyone.

What a wonderful venue ! My son’s wedding reception was beautiful! Staff was friendly and helpful. Cocktail hour outside was fun and our guests enjoyed walking thru the original classroom and museum. We couldn’t be happier!!!

It was my very first time here. It was sweet and charming, the age showed beautifully. It's a pretty venue, nice spots to walk about.

1/11/2020 - My wife and I had the most magical wedding in this location. From the outdoor ceremony to the under the tiki cocktail hour all the way to the reception in the 100+ year old school was just amazing! We highly recommend this place to others!

My husband and I had an amazing experience working with Old Davie School! They made the process of planning our wedding at the venue super simple and stress free. They were always available to answer our questions and were willing to help us in anyway possible. We are so grateful for their service. I highly recommend using their venue for any event!!

This is one of the most fun museums I have attended a d def recommend folks to check it out when possible. Got some amazing shots from the memorable experience. Not to mention the unlimited time you have to enjoy each unique room.

I went to this little Davie Museum and honestly I enjoyed every bit of it. THe admission price is OUTRAGEOUSLY low, ten bucks a pop, you really CAN'T beat that price. I started in the school and despite the slightly cramped quarters it's very well kept and clean, easy to walk through (especially if you are along) and every little part of the exhibits given were just great to browse, read about and just look at! Outside of the school itself are three houses, a pioneer one and two old private houses moved to the property. Like the school, both houses are well kept and just fun to walk through and look at everything inside. I went alone into the school but my guide for the two houses was a fun, vibrant, energetic woman who I honestly wish I could have tipped. This little spot kinda makes me thing of a reason why I love the USA; even a small town/city like Davie has its own personal history and THAT is worth something in its own right. The museum deserves to stay up, deserves to be funded, and deserves respect! Edit: Added some photos of both the school and houses!

It was a wonderful experience working with the staff at ODSH. The Orange Village was amazing and when we needed extra tables and chairs they were there immediately. The villa was clean and very presentable. The office staff are all wonderful. Thank you for a great experience!
