This is a wonderful place to visit for history buffs and lighthouse fans. $12 admission gets you access to the museum, and the lighthouse itself. It's 35 steps up to the base, then 106 steps up the wrought iron spiral staircase to the top. The views and the 160-year-old Fresnel lens are worth the climb. Guided tours are informative, but not mandatory. Nice little gift shop, too.

This park is absolutely beautiful and very well kept. The banyan tree is breathtaking! The trails and pier is new with beautiful views. We went into the lighthouse. We are here in February. It is 80° today. We waited about 25 minutes to go up. Not bad at all! There are over 100 steep steps going up with landings for resting. There are also 30+ steps to get to the lighthouse itself so be aware of your ability before you pay the money. The staff is knowledgeable and polite. Definitely recommend!

For anyone looking to explore some history or just feel like climbing 105 atepa, then this is a stop for you. This late 1800s, lighthouse is well cared for and is not a long stop if you are in the area. The main and only things to see are the lighthouse, the care takers cottage, and the pier overlook. All other buildings are closed and or offices. Now, the climb to the top of the lighthouse is not hard if you are able bodied. One thing to note kids need to be 48 inches tall to go in for safety reasons. The trek to the top is well worth the views of the inlet and surrounding area.

Nice bit of history and you can climb the 105 stairs inside the lighthouse. The Ficus tree is amazing! Tyndall House is the oldest house in Jupiter.

Second time visiting in 10 years and still worth the day trip! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and ready to help in any way they can. The attendant as we waited to go to the tower gave us a lot of fun and engaging history behind the lighthouse build out as well as the majestic trees on the property! 105 stairs to the top worth the huff and puff lol as the views from the top are priceless! Very well kept grounds and a fun way to spend a Sunday!

The perfect destination for a family picnic. Please go early hours to get early access to the lighthouse. Per adults, it takes 12$ entry fee. It is worth to visit. Cooperative and family staff are always ready to guide.

Love this place, and it's the second time we've toured it. Lots of steps to get to the view is definitely worth it. The trees there are amazing as well. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the lighthouse and the history of the area

Jupiter Lighthouse, museum, and grounds were a great experience! Plenty of parking. Paths are clearly marked. Gorgeous mature trees. There are guides at both the bottom and top of the lighthouse to provide information. There are a few wide landings on the stairway, along with windows, if you want to catch your breath or just enjoy a breeze with a view. The lighthouse windows are placed north, south, east, and west. This is part of the lighthouse day mark. The museum is informative and air conditioned! There is a small pier to walk out on and appreciate the view at water level. Take time to stop by the cottage and step back in time. Two hours is about what you'll need to allow. Be sure to wear close toed shoes. No heels. Less chance of tripping or slipping. Enjoy!

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum was a great experience to learn about the history of the area and for its scenic views. The lighthouse climb is accompanied by a walk through the grounds, views of the inlet, and a thorough explanation of the historical significance of the area. There is a $12 fee to enter the grounds and climb the lighthouse. The guided explanation kind of dragged on, as most were eager to just climb the lighthouse for the views. Regardless, it would be a fun experience to bring your family to the lighthouse and take in the views. I recommend this location for a fun afternoon and something "different" to do.

I absolutely loved this. It was my first lighthouse ever and I'm so glad I went. It was a beautiful view and not as hard to get to the top as you'd think. It was harder going down. Frank, at the top, was amazing with the knowledge he had and the stories he told. He was definitely the friendliest person I've met on my trip to FL. I highly recommend doing this, it's definitely worth the climb!

Still haven't even climbed the lighthouse yet, but just the park, gift shop, waterfront is so lovely. Great tree covered shade, grass to play, watch boats passing by. We saw manitees swimming by today. Beautiful place to stop by

What a great historical place to visit. The lighthouse itself was super neat to go up and experience. Amazing views from the top. You definitely get a workout climbing up all those steps so make sure you are able to climb a 100 plus stairs. No one under 48inches is aloud to climb. The view is amazing as is the the information they tell you about it. A couple cute museums on the property that make the visit even cooler to see. Very informative staff who give an interactive explanation of how they lived back then and so much more. Would highly recommend not just for vacationers but for locals who have yet to visit it.

Been to over 20 lighthouses and this is one of my favorites! Did the tour of the grounds & museum. Tour guide was friendly and well educated and view of the lighthouse was beautiful. Super awesome tree located on the bottom of the lighthouse grounds, but didn't get any pictures.

Had a wonderful experience. Seen some manatees from atop the lighthouse swimming along. The tour guides at the top and before entering the lighthouse gave some great information. Beautiful spot to check out if your in the area. Go early.

Fun-filled day. The best $12 I have spent in Florida. 4 museums and an incredible view of Jupiter and West Palm Beach county. I would recommend anyone from 1 to 100 visit this jewel. 💎

The Jupiter Lighthouse is an absolutely gorgeous and Iconic Lighthouse. It’s a must see in Jupiter. Great for history buffs, locals trying to take advantage of our beautiful town and tourists alike. It’s an easy climb with stunning 360 views. This is a beautiful spot for intimate weddings, they have sunrise and sunset climbs, special events like yoga and kid craft time, they also have fun family friendly events. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable in the history of the lighthouse. Highly recommend

Beautiful lighthouse. All the staff was very friendly great plants and trees to see and take pictures of. Lots of history to read about the light station. They recently a built pier to view the lighthouse from the water. Theres some renovations going on right now but still very nice. We had a great time.

Quick visit here early January. Beautiful surroundings with stunning banyan trees and views of the inlet. Husband climbed to the top of the lighthouse which was well run as they organized groups going up and down so as to avoid a free for all! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. He tells me there are stops at about every 25 steps and views from the top were awesome. I have limited mobility so wasn’t able to climb but there benches around the base to wait and enjoy the trees! You can get an “I survived the club” certificate on departure which is a nice touch. There is disabled parking but be aware the walk to the lighthouse is an incline and in parts is quite uneven and rocky. It would be pretty challenging to navigate in a wheelchair. The small museum and entrance, where you buy your $12 entrance ticket, does have ramp access though.

Espectacular views!!!! I fell in love with the view! The staff was very nice and friendly. The museum is small, but very interesting. It's worth it to make a stop if you are on a road trip. Don't forget to check around the lighthouse!

We had such a lovely day exploring the Jupiter Lighthouse. There was plenty of parking, a gift shop with a nice selection of souvenirs and lighthouse themed gifts. We bought some delicious fudge that was made by their bookkeeper. The lighthouse is very well maintained. It’s a decent climb with amazing views. We were able to see manatees swimming in the inlet. The museum was very sweet with interesting displays. An enjoyable afternoon.

My second visit to the lighthouse. Winter and spring is definitely the best time to visit. But still be aware of inclement weather because they will restrict access to the lighthouse and grounds. There is a beautiful ficus tree at the base, a great spot for pictures.

I have visited the museum several times but finally got a chance to climb the light! It was every bit as exhilarating as I had imagined. If you aren't able to climb a tall spiral staircase you can still enjoy the beautiful grounds, lighthouse keepers workshop and up close views of this historic lighthouse. I plan on returning 😁

Beautiful location and grounds. A bit of a slight uphill climb to get to the Light House location. Then there are all the steps up to and then up and down the light house but that's what exploring light houses is all about. Friendly and informative Volunteers.(Docents?). Decent little Museum but small compared to other Light House Museums in Florida. Active Duty and their family members may get in free. Really appreciate them doing that.

We had a beautiful time. The park attendants were very informative and a joy to meet. The climb up the light house wasn’t too bad as there were small spots for breaks. The view is breathe taking.

Nice climb ok view. U weren't rushed to leave. Party was about 5 people. You can rest on stairs if needed. It is steep and a little narrow. Not too windy or chilly on top.

What a great experience! I've always wanted to go up a lighthouse and finally got to do it here. The history behind the tower and land was very interesting. The views at the top were beautiful. This place is definitely a place you want to visit. I do advise if you are handicapped, have bad knees or ankles or weak legs, you will not be able to make it to the top. It has 105 steps to the top of the ladder plus an additional 30-40 steps to the base of the tower. Parking was free. Restrooms on site. It was hot today so bring drinks because all they sell is water on site.

To my surprise me and my family enjoyed ourselves. The climb was worth it. The views were amazing.

Great experience! The area has more than just the lighthouse to see - there’s an amazingly HUGE banyan tree that was just incredible to see, among other educational history about the lighthouse. Amazing view from the top once you climb 104 stairs. There are small alcoves to rest every 25 steps if you need to. Definitely worth it to go!

Staff was amazing. Helping, friendly and kind. The ficus was very interesting at 90 years old. The climb was something I won't forget but it was over fast. Very cool!

Very beautiful view of the beach and surrounding area. Total of 139 steps to get to the top of the light house. Very fun and there's a tour of the historical home the lighthouse keepers lived in, so you get a history lesson as well. Doesn't take long to see it all. But very fun.

Spectacular view. I’m 62 and the climb up the 105 steps was simple. Coming down the spiral stairs was a little more difficult simply because I’m right handed and the handrail is on the left. Definitely worth the visit.
