Small museum, but loaded with a wealth of information and items from Winter Parks past. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Located right next to the Farmer's Market.

I visited for the exhibit dedicated to Winter Park’s perspective during World War II, and found there is a lot here for such a small museum. The exhibit space is interactive and immersive. Leaf through magazines of the day in the 40s living room while the radio plays music and news. Open a drawer and find a poignant telegram from the US Army. Quite an effective spin back in time, and gave me a sense of what it was like for my parents to live during those years.

This is a nice, small Museum. The current exhibit is Retailing Our Story: 100 Years of Winter Park's Bistro's Boutiques and Businesses. There are a few exhibits of past “iconic” businesses and displays of toys and candy of a bygone area. A short, commercial video shows Winter Park as “One of "the best places to live, work and grow.” There are steps leading up to the main entrance but, according to their website, “If wheelchair access is needed, please call us prior to your visit for ramp access.” Admission is free. There is a restroom. Ample Parking.

Nice displays of hotels of the past in Winter Park with the history on plaques telling of the pre-Disney lifestyle in Winter Park, which was popular for celebrities, singers, and other wealthy snowbirds.

Beautiful museum. I hope the facility stays open forever. I had the pleasure of speaking with Kim whom I hope is there every day. This museum truly feels like home!

Loved this place!! Rode the Sunrail from Longwood to Winter Park with my children and it was within walking distance of the station. It is packed with tons of historical items and information!! Had an amazing time and the woman running it was absolutely wonderful!!! A must see for anyone who enjoys local history!!
