Excellent place to visit! Lots of information and treasure finds on the 11 ships lost in 1715. They provide a 45 minute video on the history of the shipwrecks and you can tour the building at your own pace. Very knowledgeable guides and super nice. Observation deck that overlooks the beach/ocean. Wheelchair accessible and seating provided throughout.

Such a fabulous little hidden gem of a museum! The location is gorgeous and historic. This is the exact spot where a fleet of Spanish ships sank in a hurricane in the 1700s. This museum has a gorgeous lookout point complete with a pirate flag and ship wheel overlooking the beach. The museum features all kinds of treasure found on the beaches like Spanish coins, sword hilts, rings and other dinnerware. To make it even better, it only costs $2 per person and we met the nicest docent who talked to my daughter about items found on the beaches and even gave her a few little things to take home with her! We found this place by accident on our way home from the Keys, but I'm so glad we did. Hope to return one day!

Great little hidden jewel. Only $2.00 admission charge. Very informative staff and a nice video (at 45 minutes a bit long but very informative). The displays of recovered artifacts are well layed out. There is a board walk area to view the reef area where the ships went down.

Small museum, but the staff are eager to share their passion of the history that happened at that site. We loved it! Coach brought the pirates and stories of treasure to life. We've got a young son who loves treasure hunting and pirate stories. Stunning views of the ocean too.

A great way to spend a couple hours, a good movie for background on the treasure coast. $2 to get in. Worth the trip. Also Mel Fishers museum isn’t too far but is much more expensive but lots of treasures to see.

Only $2 admission! Friendly staff eager to help and educate about the Treasure Coast! Great short film about the Spanish fleet that blew up on the reefs with all their treasures! Makes you want to get a metal detector and cruise the beach after a hurricane!

What a great place to visit and learn about the treasures. Corey had lots of interesting information to tell. Thanks for a wonderful visit. The video was very good, needs a bit of an update in the time frame to be more recent as well.

This is a very nice, albeit small, state run museum about the history of the treasure coast and the Spanish treasure fleet shipwrecked here. Admission is $2. Please bring fives and ones. They do take credit/debit, too. There’s multiple displays and dioramas, many with sound, about the history of the area, the people who lived here, and, of course, the treasures lost here. A 45 minute film runs continuously and although fairly dated it’s still interesting. They also have a boardwalk leading to an observation deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It’s accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. There’s a small gift shop with books, “coins,” maps, postcards, jewelry, and ironwood at very reasonable prices. Great way to spend an hour or two learning about the area.

This is a very cool place to learn about the exploration and treasure of Spain! The staff there were super friendly and were excellent tour guides and told me everything about the artifacts in the exhibits. The outside portion was awesome as well! Definitely coming back in the summer!

Perhaps the BEST Treasure Museum in all of Florida. A fantastic array of artifacts, treasures, history and the staff provide great info and stories. You may catch a dose of "treasure fever" after leaving this place. Walk outside and take a pic at the wheel and think about what it was in those times. I highly recommend this off-hidden museum that's truly one of kind!

We stopped by this museum and it was a highlight of our trip. I never knew about the shipwrecks and never knew this was why the area is called the “treasure coast”. The staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely excited to share their knowledge and relics. The artifacts and history boards were so interesting and the video played on repeat highly informative. It’s a fun stop and might get you excited to go hunt for nearby treasure.

What a fascinating museum about a real-life treasure right off the Florida coast. This is a Florida Park Service-operated museum. It is located about 2 miles south of the Sebastian Inlet on the Ocean side of the road. It has a limited number of parking spots in front of the building. There is a sign out front that describes the story of the ill-fated 1715 fleet of eleven Spanish galleon ships laden with gold, silver, copper, and riches as they were heading back to Spain. This fleet sank along the shore. You enter through a small lobby and pay $4/person. This allows access to a large room on the left. The room has several displays that describe the shipwreck details. There is a 45-minute movie in the room. A door out the back leads to a boardwalk with a water view but no access to the beach. The room and museum displays seem a little dated but the staff makes up for it in their knowledge of the material. This is an excellent way to learn about this part of Florida's history at the place where it actually happened. I think it is worth the stop and finding out about this part of our local history.

Such a lovely museum! The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The museum's collection is well kept and organized, so it's easy to follow the history and inspect various artifacts up close. The video presentation offers great insight about the 1715 fleet, so don't miss it! Overall, very pleasant and makes for a great little outing. Highly recommend to all!

Nice little stop to learn all about The Treasure Coast. There’s so much history that I really didn’t know. The staff is very welcoming! It’s a small donation to visit, but worth it. You can spend a good half hour or more there

This was a wonderful discovery! The museum features artifacts from an infamous shipwreck in the 1700. Despite being small, we spent over 1 hour there. They also have a scavenger hunt for younger kids, which my 8 year old son loved. I definitely recommend it.

This is a small museum, but it was well worth the trip. The movie is very informative regarding the 1715 Plate Fleet and the salvage operations.

I absolutely loved this place. The staff and volunteers were out of this world. I learned so much more than I expected, and each step of the way there was someone there (without having to ask) willing to share their knowledge of the 1715 fleet. I will definately be back and I highly suggest a visit. A+++
