Do you love dinosaurs? Do you love ancient cultures? Do fossils, gold and crystals make you happy? If you answered yes to any of these questions this is absolutely the place for you! I have been to this museum many times and used to go to the store before the museum ever existed. I knew when my nephew was coming to town that I had to take him here, what six year old doesn’t love dinosaurs?! Not only did he get to see The best exhibit ever, he also got to have the time of his life in their arcade. Even the adults were having a blast! This place has everything! They have a beautiful store with priceless artifacts and replications, a stunning two story exhibit of dinosaurs in ancient Egypt and many other cultures, they have an arcade and a room with so many living reptiles that all looked very well taken care of with clean cages. Truly, as a resident, this place is such a rare and beautifully done adventure. This is the spot to take anyone who loves history, animals and having a looking glass into our past.

This is a must go place. The museum is two floors (above the store) of history from dinosaurs to human evolution. There are real artifacts, fossils, taxidermy and man made repicals, all coming together to bring history to life. The knowledge this museum has to offer from earths history is a definite gain. The store offers art, castings of artifacts and real dinosaur bones along with so much more.

They have a very cool gift shop but also can be extremely pricey (fossils and what not). The museum itself is still enjoyable. Not really the best for kids but if you bring them don't expect to stay long in the museum (they will just want the game room) if you are interested in reading the history you will enjoy this. Overall we enjoyed the experience but the game room/reptile room kinda saved it. Maybe some repairs to the game but the games are free with admission to the room.

This place is definitely worth visiting with the whole family. We only visited the museum and were delighted. I am glad that I was able to acquaint children with different historical periods. Dinosaurs, skeletons, stuffed animals, stones, elements of ancient China and Egypt. Delight!

This museum is absolutely a gem in Cocoa Beach. During our visit we got to hear from Jack all about raptors (my daughter's favorite dinosaur) and their different types. He was extremely knowledgeable and we very much enjoyed our time listening to him and his vast knowledge. This is a very cool place and is actually so much bigger than you expect it to be. Absolutely worth it. I highly recommend to anyone visiting or local.

My 4yr old daughter and I visited here for the first time. I've lived in the area almost my whole life and has never been. I was extremely impressed with our experience. We did the museum tour along with the adventure area which has games for kids of all ages to enjoy. The museum part has two stories on the second and third floors. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of detail. The 3rd floor has exhibits of ancient cultures from the Olmec to ancient Egypt including a full rendition of King Tut's tomb. The 2nd floor takes you through all the different dynastic periods. Again it's beautifully done, quite larger than I expected. There are so many things to look at and learn about we were there in the museum for 2 hours and I could have easily stayed for 2 more. Then back on the 1st floor the adventure zone I believe they call it has a array of games that are perfect for all ages. Also they have live snakes, turtles, frogs, lizards and 2 large alligators. Of course there's the store which is available for anyone to check out free of charge. There's something for everyone, they have an extensive selection of beautiful crystals, fossils, even dinosaur teeth & bones. Of course toys for the kids, lots of learning activities, books or just silly little things. Overall it was the perfect activity to do on an extremely hot August afternoon or for a rainy day. I can't recommend it enough!

Great place!! The gift shop is free to enter, however they may charge you to leave. The museum upstairs is a separate charge but is well worth it for anyone who is into dinosaurs, young and young at heart. There is so much to look at, so many little details that you may have to go back a second time to look around some more.

I was like a kid in a candy store!! This place is SOOOO cool!! I'm about to be 37yo, and at the age of 3yo I was telling everyone, "I wanna be a paleontologist!" I have never outgrown my love for dinosaurs, and my wonderful hubby knew that this would be an adventure that was close to my heart! I thought the gift shop was the whole thing, and was walking around looking at all of the amazing things wide-eyed 😍 and then my hubby asked me, "are you ready to go through the museum?" And I was like, "you mean there's more??" He laughed and said, "yes, this is just the gift shop!" 1000/10 recommend for ALL ages!! I can't wait to bring my 5yo nephew here as well as my 72yo dad!

An excellent museum for natural history lovers. It's shocking to me that such a remarkable collection is kept in a quaint beach town like Cocoa Beach. Real and extraordinary fossils and a massive gift shop with things you may not find anywhere else.

I’m actually surprised how much we enjoyed this place! 3 floors of fun. The gift shop on the first floor was huge and so many items to see. We took the museum tour in the 2nd and 3rd floor. It was only $26.00 for two adults. It’s surprising how well this is put together with great displays and even sound effects. We did the Wizard of Oz museum for more the twice the price and it’s nothing compared to this. We’re not even huge dinosaur fans and still loved it! We purchased some really great items from the store. This is a true gem to the area!

We really had a great time. My daughter, granddaughter, her friend and son, and myself all visited and had a nice day with the kids there. They had so many beautiful items in the store. And the museum upstairs was interesting and educational. We'll visit again.

The museum was fantastic, the only negative I hate with it was the lack of benches on the top floor, due to medical conditions. Other than that, everything was super clean, and exciting to see. We even enjoyed the adventure zone with my young niece and nephew and the games were pretty fun even for adults.

We had an amazing time.. The museum is bigger then we expected, had alot of the dino's we all want to see.. more really. Then ya go up another floor and get some Anthropology... Chinese, Mayan, ancient cultures.. even a King Tut burial chamber display that shows what it was like when found. Worth a trip 100%

What a pleasant surprise this was for our dinosaur/fossil loving 6 year old. We walked in expecting it to be a full-on tourist trap, but the museum is educational and pretty cool. Thought the price of admission for the museum floors was more than worth it. We did not do the other add-ons, so perhaps that's what kept our opinion more favorable. There were some random outlying pieces included in the exhibits that can make the timeline confusing for kids, but all in all, this was a good experience for us 🙂

Nice little stop if you have nothing to do. Great for small children. Staff was preoccupied with their own conversations to notice all of the customers. One person had to shout just to get their attention. Unsure about a return visit.

Fun AND informative. Not to mention the gift shop has all sorts of awesome collectables, things for adults and children. The museum portion itself is larger than I imagined, with lots of interesting finds including natural and replica items. Great place to take dinosaur loving kids (and adults!). Gentlemen there gave us a great discussion about velociraptors vs T-Rex type animals, debunking some common misconceptions that are often replicated in today's media. I highly recommend checking it out! And of course it's right by downtown and the beaches, so you can make a fun trip of it.

This is a WONDERFUL museum! I enjoyed it tremendously!! There is also a Section with King Tut and Naphrititi, along with an area for Mexico and one for China as well. So well done! My only negative is that it is incredibly dusty and the glass throughout the museum is streaked and dirty. With all of the employees standing around snacking and talking, you would think more work could be getting done. I think if you have a place this special , you would try to take better care of it. I really did enjoy my time there, however.

The dinosaur store is also a museum! The gift shop at the entrance is huge and has so many beautiful rocks, gems, jewelry, toys, just so much to look at. The museum offers two different experiences. We only did the adventure zone, where all of the arcade games are set to free play, there is a small exhibit of reptiles, and a “theater” set up. It also looks like there’s a gem mining exhibit on this side as well. The pricing offers an entrance to one exhibit or the other, which is the fossil/history actual museum part, or both. I found that helpful because we didn’t have the time to go through the whole museum but still wanted to get to experience some part of it. This place is super cool for anyone interested in history or dinosaurs or reptiles, and for anyone needing a unique gift!

we went on a weekday and had a great time. already in town for the brevard zoo but it was really hot then rained buckets on us later that day, the next morning i randomly found this place and im so glad. 3 floors of dino, mummy and other cool stuff, a huge gift shop with amazing stuff and a game room {with admission all games were free)then for $11 a pretty cool amusement ride (up to 6 ppl for 11) . plus live gators, snakes and lizards. it was really cool, literally cool.. the ac was a blessing after the zoo. well worth the money. the gift shop has a lot of high end stuff ... but they have little cheaper stuff too and its all priced as expected. definitely an underrated place, id never heard of but glad i googled things to do ... They should really get the word out more, "museum"or "store" does not 🚭 do it justice... MUSEUM - ARCADE- EXOTIC ANIMAL EXHIBIT - AMUSEMENT PARK+GIANT GIFT SHOP better describes the experience and considering the prices you pay to do any one of those things Id say its a great bargain.

Loved it. In our family, we have people who like wildlife, dinosaurs, gems/minerals, and ancient Egypt. A great place to visit while in town. I spent sooo much money at that shop though. Its amazing. My weakness!

Really enjoyed I'll looking at all the neat things and the cashier was very knowledgeable about the creatures very helpful... They have a little arcade area in the back for the kids to play but you need to get a wrist band to go back there

Expect there to be children, but as long as it isn't a class field trip, you should watch the wonder in their eyes. Worth a visit for summer family fun.

Truthfully enjoyed our time in the museum, just know it will take about an hour to calmly see everything. There is a good amount of fossils and artifacts to look at - including dinosaurs, Egypt, minerals, and more! The store itself, which is free to walk around in, is full of the same to browse and purchase. The staff is friendly and will provide you with fun facts/answers to any questions; they even showed us cool minerals to touch and see. It was a nice visit!

What an incredibly fun place! Everything is well laid out and VERY clean. The 1st floor is the Gift Shop and Adventure Zone. The gift shop is HUGE and there's something for everyone in there! (Prices are very reasonable as well.) 2nd floor.....DINOSAUR! (Sad attempt at rhyming) If you have small children, know that it can be a little loud as there is piped in "dino sounds." I heard some children crying but it seemed to stop pretty quickly. Just saying you may need to prepare for a little outburst. The exhibits are fun and there's a lot of information. There are a lot of mineral displays on the 2nd floor as well. Make sure you look at all the walls and overhead because there is something to see EVERYWHERE! 3rd floor..........Ancient Cultures! Very well laid out and again, there's so much to see. You will wind up reading something, look over your shoulder, and realize you missed something. I did a fair bit of backtracking and it's all very well worth it. If you have children, I'd say this is a MUST see if you're in the area. Even if you have to travel a little, I'd say it's well worth it. It's a large place and you can spend hours there. There's something for everyone to see! All the staff I encountered were very friendly and welcoming. If you haven't been yet, I HIGHLY recommend it.
