Chef Sonia Tigero specializes in Ayurvedic healing cuisine and we're so lucky she's in Hallendale. The location is a destination location with no other draw to bring you here but it's worth finding this restaurant or having the food delivered. I love the spinach empenadas and always have them before my Kitchari- a staple, signature dish, a healing ayurvedic dish with rice, bean and spices. made only as Chef Sonia does with amazing flavor that makes you feel good just eating it. It is a drive for me to get here so I order food to eat immediately and extra food to eat at home for a few days after I visit. To really know that Chef Sonia is a top -rated Ayurvedic Chef you'll appreciate that I was at her event she catered for Dr. Deepak Chopra when he was in Miami and it was spectacular. The empanadas come in more variety than spinach, there's been beets and other ingredients but I just love, love the spinach the most. I usually order a hot beverage that makes my stomach feel good.

Everybody was polite but it felt a bit awkward walking in and nobody greeted us and we had to just stand there and wait to be noticed. Menu from the website and in the actual local was a bit different. Very pleased with my dish Dosa Burrito. Very filling anf super delicious. A bit pricey for it's simplicity but definitely happy with my choice!

Inside of the restaurant is very pleasant. Soft music. The smell of spices and the love infused dishes are amazing. Ask for the daily special . There also is a creative space inside for artists. The cafe is small but very comforting and the food tastes great. 5 stars on the spinach and cheese empanadas !!!!

Flavorful and surprising! We were looking for a vegetarian restaurant with a little bit of eccentricity. I didn't know what to quite expect walking into this restaurant through a yoga studio. Luckily for us we went for a really late lunch and they had only one other customer. Service was great. We started with an empanada and quickly ordered another one because the chutney was so good. We then ordered the kichdi (rice) and the veggie meat balls (pictures) both of which were flavorful. The portions were really filling. I would definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

Excellent place for vegan food. The Ayurveda method makes the food delicious and healthy. We had the quinoa kitchari and vegan lasagna, both were very good. Just the right amount and blend of spices. The chef will also prepare a combination of spices for you to cook with at home. It is a small space inside the Yosoy Creative Space complex, which has a lounge, yoga, clothing, etc. Parking is very limited.

If you’re looking through the reviews, you’re probably wondering whether or not it’s worth a visit - it absolutely is. I am elated this place is about 10 mins from me! I picked up an order for the Choppra salad and spinach/“cheese” empanadas. Fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly bigger portions than I imagined. Delicious and filling, and leaves you feeling quite well afterwards. The staff was kind and hardworking. I can’t imagine all the skill and effort that goes into running a place like this but they are doing a hell of a job. I’ll without a doubt be back here.

Excellent! Delicious and nutritious food and desserts for mind, body and spirit. This Ayurvedic Cafe offers daily soups and specials for your vegetarian nutritional needs. Today I was delighted by the Thai Couscous with organic/ non GMO tofu, cremini mushrooms, onions, carrots, red peppers, ginger, basil and sour notes seasoned to perfection! The spinach soup is a full portion of green goodness and their carrot cake is sensational.
