This is the best Mediterranean restaurant I’ve ever tried in my life! Is located in the heart of Hollywood downtown. The staff is very friendly, the drinks and food menu is outstanding. Is a place where you’ll feel pleased of eating because of the quality of ingredients and passion they put into their plates. You won’t regret to have this experience. I’m sharing some pictures!

Love the decor and ambiance and our server was super friendly and attentive. Food was tasty as well and presented very nicely! I think the burger tasted the best out of what we ordered. The maqluba was good but different than I expected. I hadn’t had a tomato sauce based version of it before. Hubby said the Chicken skewer was cooked well although it was a little bland for my taste. Only took a star off because the server automatically added our tip for us (which the receipt said it would do if it’s a party of 6 or more) but it was just my husband and I with our twin babies and we were the only folks dining in at the otherwise empty restaurant. We usually tip more than the amount stated and service was good too so that’s not a problem— but just found it a little strange and off putting in an otherwise great experience!

I had the Lamb couscous & my husband had the salmon Al grill. They truly exceeded our expectations. Amazing food and excellent service!! They also had great drinks! Can’t wait to be back. Very nice ambiance.Thank you!

This a solid spot to grab some food. The presentation was great. Definitely 5 stars on that aspect. Food was pretty good but I wouldn’t say it was great. However; the Baklavah was absolutely out of this world and if you come here do not leave without getting that. It was 10/10 and might be the best I’ve ever had. If you live in Hollywood this place is worth checking out for dinner.

Everything was great - ambience, service as well as food. We ordered a appetizer combo platter including hummus , baba ganoush , grape leaves and pita - it was super smooth and silky (really amazing). For main course we ordered chicken shwarma and molokhia- both were good. For dessert it was baklava and ice cream - the baklava was amazing (it was a hot baklava in a bowl with ice cream on the side)

Loved this place! My friend suggested to visit this restaurant since she had seen a few great reviews and we weren’t disappointed The service was great, Yazmin was incredible and so sweet. You can tell she really enjoys her job and she likes interacting with the customers and not in a pushy way The food was delicious too, we ordered the falafels and the hummus to start and share. We loved both, specially the hummus! So so good, the pita was also delicious and warm I then ordered the Mediterranean salad which was good it was basically all cucumber and a few of the other veggies added on This was my first time trying Baklava and I loved it! It was freshly made and so delicious! I would honestly go back again just to have dessert

Absolutely scrumptious! The reviews enticed me in, the calm beautiful decor drew me closer, but the delectable food and refreshing flight of mimosas made me not want to leave. Additionally Miss Jasmin provided the most hospitable service I’ve experienced in Southern Florida in decades. Highly recommended for locals and travelers alike!

Great friendly service. Shabo’s has both inside and outside dinning. Everything was really good. I liked that the Mixed Grill was served on a heated platter so stayed warm. The baklava looked so delicious, we forgot to take a photo until it was too late.

From the moment we stepped through the door, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Throughout the entire meal breakfast was delicious and everything in place. The servers were attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed without being intrusive. What impressed me the most was their attentiveness to details. They took the time to explain the menu and make recommendations based on our preferences. The food was delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced. The service was good and the decor was pretty. It was pretty empty when I visited and I hope it was just an off night, because based on the food quality this place should be busy! I’ll definitely be back!

Here are some comments to help future customers. This restaurant is very well decorated, nice and the waitresses we met were very nice and did a good job. Unfortunately, the food was not a winner for us. We are big fans of shawarma and especially hummus. We were disappointed with the humus (too much tahini for our taste). The taste was bitter. We did not eat our falafel either. It is normally tender with a sweet taste of chickpeas. But these were bitter too. (We didn't ask to have it removed from our bill since he agreed to change our beef dish) We had the chicken and beef shawarma. I would like to point out that the beef had a lot of "hard fat". The cook had mentioned this as normal so that the meat would have more flavor… normally the marinade is supposed to do the job. (Fat at this point, I had never seen this elsewhere...) However, the chicken was very good with the garlic mayo, it was delicious. We were lucky because the cook accepted to change the beef for chicken (be careful to the next customers that they don't take back your dish if you don't like it). For the rest it was ok, the couscous had no flavor. I found the prices a bit high to compare with elsewhere, but with the current life that everything increases, it’s understandable. On the other hand, we tried it, but we won't go back.

First, the ambiance is gorgeous. The host & waitress was very pleasant. The service was great. The food was plenty & delicious. It was our first time there and now added to our day & date night spot.

Amazing food. Very Mediterranean infused flavors so if you’re picky about seasonings, ask how it’s made. Service was exceptional even on a busy Mother’s Day evening! Will be returning!

LOVED the food! Lovely resturant, beautifully decorated, and great ambiance. The chef has his own YouTube channel that shows how he makes the recipes on the menu playing on the TV which is super cool to see. I subscribed to the YouTube channel. Staff were an 11/10. Presentation 11/10. Taste 11/10. We WILL be returning customers when we visit Hollywood FL again.

The perfect date night spot! Went here for a light dinner and it was wonderful. We sat outside and when it got chilly, our server gave us a blanket which was a nice touch. The food was good too, the mint lemonade was refreshing. Made our visit to Hollywood memorable.

This is definitely the best Arabic/Mediterranean food experience in Miami. Egyptian food taste authentic and fresh. Moroccan tajine is so delicious and full of flavors. Highly recommended and deserve my rare five starts 🤩

Some excellent vegetarian options. The falafel wrap is delicious. The vegan shakshuka is amazing and full of falafels.

The food was well prepared and tasty. I would have given it 4.5-5 stars had it not been for the odd choice of lighting and music. Maybe I am just an old guy but the dance club vibe did more to take away from a solid offering than it needed to.

Food is delicious, had the Cozze Mediterranean platter with a side of Gyro. Enough for 2 people and that was our meal. Ended with Turkish coffee, it was delicious. Had an herbal flavor.

Omg. What a terrific place. From the presentation and quality of the food to the atmosphere to the sweetness of the staff, this place rocked it. We went middle of Saturday and I just loved every thing about it. We ordered the chief's dinner which included appetizer, main meal with 2 sides, and a drink which I choose wine. From the deliciousness of the baba gonoush to the beautifully presented lamb kabob, it was just perfect. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable. We are definitely going back like next week. 👍👍👍👍👍👍Great place also for a date.

Always amazing!!! This time I tried the frozen mint lemonade and Mediterranean salad. It was sooooo good. Plus the teriyaki sweet potato fries are always super yummy!!!
