My visit to Dar Tajine Moroccan Restaurant in Plantation was an exceptional dining experience from the moment we stepped in until our departure. The service was impeccable, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Now, let’s delve into the culinary journey - it began with a delightful soup paired with a small fried pancake bursting with a perfectly balanced mix of sweet, salty, and savory chicken filling. The highlight of the meal was the Kafta Tajine, which was a symphony of flavors, especially when savored with the aromatic saffron rice. To complete the meal, the mint tea was simply divine - a must-try for any visitor. This gem of a restaurant has earned a special place in my go-to list for its mouth-watering cuisine and the genuine warmth of its hospitality. I'm already looking forward to returning to Dar Tajine time and time again. An utterly amazing find!"

it was worth the visit, the atmosphere and seating is very nostalgic, the couscous wasn’t a big portion but was tasty, the lamb was very tender, seafood bastilli was made as you order very hot and fresh, beef tajine was very tasty and flavorful, the chicken skewers were great also. This place is the only Moroccan restaurant in south Fl.

This is one of families favorite places to eat. The interior is nicely decorated; it has a homey feel. Thought out service is always above and beyond. The food I've tried there is always really flavorful and delicious. Their meat dishes are so tender that the meat falls of the bone. The portions are big, we never have room for desert. I would definetly recommend this restaurant if you want to have an authentic Moroccan experience.

I loved the soups here. Found it a bit difficult to eat here as a vegetarian. However, everything we did get was good. The staff were trying their best to help us create a good experience. If you have never tried Moroccan food, give Dar Tajine a try. You can tell the owner tries to create an authentic experience with how the inside is set up. This is important when trying food. An experience with your taste palette as well as where you experiencing it.

Great food and friendly service. Everything was perfect. The food came out quickly! We had the chicken birwat and the zaalouk - they were good! Birwat was super crispy and filled with filling. And the zaalouk was very tasty. I had the half chicken tajine - it was moist and flavorful. For dessert, they have a great selection of Moroccan sweets and of course you can’t forget a nice mint tea!

Moroccan Food was fantastic! You would feel as though you have been transported to North Africa! Flavors were on point and the decor inside and music lends itself to the whole experience! The homemade bread was delicious which we used to eat with Zaalouk - roasted eggplant appetizer and also seafood Bastilla - flaky pastry stuffed with seafood, mushrooms and spices - yummy! For entrees we tried Lamb Shank Tagine and Half Chicken Tagine, Vegetable Couscous- DELICIOUS! For kids, we had Chicken Kabobs with yellow rice. We also had couscous and a large pot of mint tea topped it all off! To end the night with a bit of sweet, we enjoyed some of the cookies made with chocolate and walnuts. This place is a must try. Everything had its own flavor profile and we will definitely be back very soon to try some more dishes! I’ve recommended this restaurant to our family and friends. So if you’re in the area it’s a must try! Lots of parking as it is located in a shopping plaza.

First time for our family to try Moroccan food. The atmosphere was colorful and comfortable. The service was always available and came to our table often to check on us. The food was not over season and had unique flavors different than I was use to but very good. I enjoyed the warm mint tee that I drank during my meal that had more flavor than just mint tee. A large order came with additional small serving glasses for others to share. The bread was awesome, we all enjoyed every dish we had and shared our food to enjoy trying different dishes. I would recommend this place and I look forward to returning,

First time trying Moroccan food and I was so surprised by the taste and food quality. It’s cooked very well. I ordered the chicken cake, lamb and soup. I also ordered a sausage as the side dish but the sausage is over cooked and burnt. However, I still like the experience overall and give a 5 star

First timers. Intrigued by a different cuisine. I had lamb couscous and my fiance had chicken couscous. Both could have used a little extra sauce as the meat was a little dry. Our server was not very attentive and we were the only ones there. The mint iced tea was very refreshing. The main dishes were very flavorful. The owner needed to intervene. Everything ended well.

This was my first time trying Moroccan food. I would return. There is more I would like to try. I would recommend the Moroccan bread and the Harira soup. But my most favorite part was the beyond delicious mint tea and the dessert selection of mini treats. That alone was worth the trip.

First, let’s discuss service! Hasna was such a refreshing and pleasant young lady! She was patient and ensured that my Husband and I got the full Moroccan experience to match the ambiance! We both love lamb so she recommended the lamb shank tajine and the chicken tajine, it was delicious! For starter we had the soup, Moraccan Tea (best green tea I ever tasted) and an eggplant dish (now the only place I will eat eggplant). The food was so fresh and delicious, portion sizes were generous and the service was nurturing. I highly recommend dar Tajine

Perfect little restaurant. Everything was beyond delicious. Fouad was amazingly kind and helpful. Highly recommend the mint tea, royal salad, lamb, seafood, and beef tajines. Not to mention the coffee and desserts (which got devoured before a picture could be taken). Will definitely return in the future!

Very unassuming restaurant that far exceeded our expectations. The Lamb Shank Tajine was one of the most tender, flavorful pieces of lamb I have ever had. Our group loved it so much we ordered an extra dish of it and completely destroyed it! The service was very friendly and the the vibes were great. Would recommend to anyone looking for delicious Moroccan food in the area.

The food was delicious. Reminded me of that time i was in Morocco. The restaurant was cute inside. The atmosphere was not so comfortable… many men and the waitresses don’t have the usual restaurant ethics we would expect since we are in the US. Regardless, the food was great and would go just for the food.

Really flavorful dishes with a lot of options on the menu. The tea was delicious! Also loved the kafta tajine. My husband got the beef tajine with prunes, it was the perfect balance of sweet and savory with super tender beef. They also have a selection of dessert pastries which we enjoyed. Seemed really short staffed but friendly service nonetheless.

So today we set our sites on some Moroccan food and after doing some research I wanted to try family run Dar Tajine Moroccan Restaurant on W Sunrise in Plantation. When we showed up it was closed 😩 even though google said it was open. I decided to call and thankfully a wonderful person answered and let us in early! They were cleaning today and delayed the opening. They could have turned us away but welcomed us in. A beautiful interior awaited us as well with some Moroccan music on the tv screen. A nice change as opposed to places that dont match their restaurant to the native music. We started off with some mint tea and Arabic coffee. Refreshing and interesting flavors. Coffee has a unique taste. Next we tried the Lamb chops with saffron rice and Bastilla ( chicken in a puff pastry with seasonings). The 4 chops were tender and nicely grilled with spices and the saffron rice was tasty. Thankfully not over salted. The Bastilla was shredded chicken mixed with sweet seasonings in a pastry shell topped with almond slivers, powdered sugar and cinnamon. Simple and tasty! Truly thankful for their hospitality and great foold and already planning a return for the other delights…

Definitely try their Lamb Tajine! The lamb is so well cooked that it almost melts in your mouth. Has lots of flavor and very well garnished with dates. The lentils soup was good as well. Place has a very good ambiance, staff is friendly and easy to find parking.

This was my first time at an authentic Moroccan restaurant and it was fantastic. The vibe of the restaurant itself is so authentic with well done interiors and a local shop area where you can find some Moroccan items. Me and my husband ordered Moroccan harrisa and beet juice ( 2 of those- the juice is quintessential if you want to beat the heat) to start with and for food we had chicken kabab and vegetarian tajine. Chicken kabab were delicious, I can say that these were one of the best kababs I have ever had. Vegetarian tajine was kind of a curry dish with olives, potatoes and carrots and was very flavorful and unique. These two dishes came with saffron rice. They also served salad on the side. All in all great food, amazing hospitality, and a wonderful experience.

Drove an hour from Miami and it was absolutely worth the trip. The food has nothing to envy to the best restaurants in Casablanca or Marrakesh I tried myself. Very authentic! Prices are fair and portions are generous. Also, the two waiters at the restaurant were incredibly nice, polite, and warm. I will definitely come back here in the future.

Nice experience, lovely place and delicious food, mint tea was good but it could be a little bit more intense. Next time I’ll try another items from the menu, don’t be shy asking for suggestions.
