We
have
been
wanting
to
try
this
place
for
a
while
and
finally
did.
While
it
was
my
first
time
at
Il
Toscano,
I
am
very
familiar
with
the
location;
it
used
to
be
a
French
cafe/restaurant/bakery,
and
I
had
been
there
a
few
times.
The
plaza
is
pretty
far
west
on
Pines
Blvd,
so
it
is
calm
and
not
heavily
visited
-
great
for
a
pleasant
eating
experience,
though
probably
not
so
great
for
a
restaurant's
profits.
The
restaurant
has
a
cute
terrace
with
seating,
which
is
where
we
sat;
it
is
very
refreshing
and
pleasing
to
sit
here
on
a
dry,
cool
evening.
The
inside
is
very
spacious
and
aesthetically
pleasing
as
well.
It
is
traditional
and
classy
in
decor.
The
waitress
who
served
us
was
very
friendly
and
helpful
with
suggestions,
though
there
were
some
long
stretches
in
which
we
were
left
alone
outside
for
too
long,
without
any
staff
coming
by
to
assist
us.
It
was
not
a
busy
night.
The
food
was
pricey,
but
not
remarkable.
It
was
good,
just
not
good
enough
to
justify
the
price
on
entrees.
Dessert
was
great
though,
but
wow,
such
large
portions!
We
would
not
place
it
high
on
the
list
of
places
to
re-visit,
but
it
is
a
decent
place,
and
we
may
check
it
out
again
when
the
weather
is
cool,
as
we
really
like
the
location.
They
also
host
comedy
events
periodically.
We
have
never
been,
but
it
may
be
worth
checking
out.
It
is
a
good
way
for
the
restaurant
to
contribute
to
the
vibrancy
of
the
West
Pines
community
and
get
some
more
business
too.
