Recently renovated and menu updated, the Fox and Hounds fits in with the Oakland Park revival. Traditional British staples like sausage rolls, Scotch eggs, fish and chips now peacefully coexist with fish dip, hamburgers and coconut shrimp. They still have multiple screens in the bar so you can watch most any game, including traditional football but if you've been there in the past you won't recognize the newly redesigned and redecorated dining room. Highly recommend you stop by for a pint or two with the friendly and efficient staff.

The drink and vibe here was cool and I enjoyed the no smoking. However, I called before 12:30am and was told they served food until 1am. Arrived before 1am and was told the cooks had already left and it was shut down. Very disappointed because I Ubered there for food after a long day of travel. She said she thought it was 1am already when I called earlier.

Thrilling! No, not the bar, but coming out of the parking lot, which means backing into Dixie Hwy right behind the curve; I had to get in the street and slow some cars down to allow my friend to come out. Just a warning. Next time I’ll park across the street. Fox and Hound is no longer the dive place I remembered; today they have up-to-date modern furniture, a clean look and it’s pretty nice, although it lost something of the old feel. Things change and in South Florida they do it quickly. The food is okay, but a bit pricey for the quantity/quality; also the menu is pretty short so don’t expect a lot of choices. Much better is the beer list, plenty of choices. Service was very good. I will stop by again for a beer or two when in the area, but I am not sure I would go on purpose to eat.

First time at fox n hound. Went for lunch a 3 on a Sunday so it was pretty quiet. Met by friendly owner? / bartender/server. Handsome dark green painted walls, tufted leather sofas, a very well stocked bar and nice clean stylish restrooms. I bet happy hour during the week is fabulous! I had the fish n chips which was good, nice size fish pieces, served w homemade tarter sauce and a pea mash, great fries and hubby had a chopped salad w grilled chicken, dressing, a little bland, get the balsamic. Backing out of parking lot is dicey, be careful! I recommend.

Amazing food, great ambiance, and excellent customer service. The new remodel turned the Fox & Hounds British American Pub into a trendy and welcoming restaurant/pub. We definitely recommend the scotch egg, fish & chips and the sticky toffee. Great job to the chef! The food was so delicious and well presented that it reminded us of some of the great restaurants we had visited back in Europe. The cocktails are on point and priced just right. We are happy to have a LGBTQ+ friendly pub that we can count on to watch the sports games in the area.

Bartender Chris is the absolute best! Very friendly, funny, and always quick on the pour. This pub has been around for a long time and is practically an institution in the area. They have billiards, darts, sports on the TV and of course most importantly booze, lots and lots of booze

Last time we came here was ages (truly) ago to watch a soccer game. The place looked dive at that time but had a great atmosphere during the game. The food instead was very poor. So imagine my surprise when I entered the bar last Saturday for dinner! Now it looks fantastic, it has a beautiful bar and a very nicely decorated dining room with a big screen. I was also surprised to see it empty though. The server was very friendly and attentive. The menu is very limited (they have no burgers at all) and can be a “hit and miss”. The Fried Zucchini that we shared with our friends were a little bit too watery (but that depends on the quality of the zucchini) and our friends were not enthusiastic at all about their Fish & chips. The Sausage Roll that my husband ordered were good, and I really enjoyed the Hendricks Cured Salmon, but $17 for that tiny portion of salmon is too much in my opinion. The beers instead were all good, as expected (I had a Harp). Parking is very limited but above all dangerous… The bar is on a strip on Dixie, just after a curve: I can see accidents happening both when you slow down to park, and when you come out, right into Dixie! I don’t think we’ll come back again to eat, but one day we’ll check it out again to see if the atmosphere during the games is still great!

Excellent pub feel! Bartender, Kevin and Master Chef Shane are delightful and so accommodating! Everyone is welcome. Great British music in background all venues. Patrons are friendly and everyone seems to have an enjoyable experience thanks to the hosts! If you want some good beverages and most excellent food, I recommend. I will be a repeat customer. Shane can really serve not only beautiful presentation with creativity but over the top delish eats.

Perfect bar food you can't get better. it was just a fluke, they had a TV problem so I could not watch the match in full, bad timing i guess. great beer and food.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is warn ans reminds me of pubs back in England. Great staff and good beer selection. The hosts are accommodating and are open early for the football.

A cozy and cool place. Nice appetizers, friendly service and good beer set the tone for this traditional pub. It's particularly attractive to people who love darts, and, if you live in the area, you may wanna learn about the house dart team. Not a place to go if you're looking for decadent meals and lavish drinks, but a good choice to just seat back, relax and enjoy a good beer.

Yesterday was the first time we went to Fox and Hounds British restaurant. Every foodie has to go there! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The Owner and Chef not only made our dining experience wonderful, the other couple we went there with, had to go back there the next night. The restaurant has a cool modern vibe. The chef if from Dublin and all the food is amazing. It's only been open for a couple months with the new owner. Enjoy and check out this place.
