The customer service is beyond unsatisfactory and the manager does not even care. It might be because I am Asian that my girlfriend and I received really horrible services. It took 30 minutes just to get a sandwich, plant bread, and a coffee as you can see on the picture with the timestamp. It took two times asking two different people as well as the manager to receive our order. On top of taking forever to get our food while others who ordered food behind us received their's before us, they even messed up our order. The special sandwich was ordered with pickles on the side, but that's not the case as you can see. My girlfriend ordered a coffee with suger, but received nothing. The service is horrible and sad, which gave my girlfriend a bad headache/migraine. My girlfriend love this place since she was little and being Latina as well as going there all the time. Hope they improve their service. Just a sad day since my girlfriend is on bad rest now thanks to them. 😣😣

Good food, decent prices. A little hectic atmosphere due to the restaurant being busy. Could be a little more organized. Overall good experience! Had the skirt steak and it was cooked as requested. Waitress was attentive and courteous. Their ropa vieja is also great!

LaCarreta is a beautiful Latin restaurant. Beautiful oil paintings adorn the walls and there is a separate bar area and a separate bakery. All under one roof. The food was absolutely delicious. The wait staff bilingual and the menu immense. Prices are fair and worth every penny. Oh and dont forget to get your picture taken with the "famous" chicken. I give this place 5 stars !!

Dissapointing at best, the olive garden of Cuban food. :( While I love the fruity pink drink I got, the food was somewhat disappointing. We had an incredible Cuban restaurant back home that burned down a few years ago so being able to come here and have Cuban food was a treat we were really looking forward to! They were careful about my gluten allergy which was great but the food just wasn't the exciting Cuban food I was used to. The food was boring, bland and over salted. It was so salty it was difficult to eat, I thought it was just mine but my partner had the same issue with all of the items on his sampler either being way over salted or having none at all. It is very loud as well even with the restaurant half full.. The only redemption was the staff they were friendly and super helpful which salvaged at least a part of this overall experience.

The customer service at this location was AMAZING! The servers we had were super friendly and attentive. We asked for a sauce to dip our bread in and the young lady brought out several for us to try. The food was delicious and of course I forget to take a picture of our meals. The white sangria was tasty and they give a good amount if you purchase a pitcher.

The most pathetic Cuban sandwich. Came with two piece of ham and two piece of pork, the bread taste like leftovers. Will not order again.

Stopped by, and it was a disappointing experience. 1. They no longer offer Cane Juice (guarapo) 2. We were served toasted buttered bread(tostada) and it had a hair . 3. We had eggs and house potatoes. Eggs were very overcooked. Just not the quality it used to have

First visit was a good experience. Food arrived quickly and was tasty. Service was pleasant and friendly ☺️. My only complaint is ignorance. My waitress was surprised that I spoke Spanish because I didn't look like her. Imagine that in 2023. They also have excellent prices.

We really enjoyed our visit to this Cuban restaurant for our Sunday late lunch. The menu is extensive and authentic. The hardest part of the visit was making a choice! The service was excellent: quick, polite and friendly. The food was delicious and came within a few minutes. Fantastic value and we will certainly be returning. Thank you La Carreta.

Food was less than average, and taste less. Steak pincho (kabob) was made of thin strip of meat, rolled to make it look like steak chunk. Fried tostones and ripe platain were good

Food quality is always great, but it seems that prices have gone up ( understandably because of the recession), but the portions have shrunk. I used to order the Pollo milanesa, and it would cover the entire plate. Now, it barely covers half.

I love their food, just the service can be a little slow sometimes. I love their vaca frita and their lentil soup, although the last few weeks their lentil soup has been way too salty, but hopefully they'll see this review and it won't be too salty anymore, let's hope🤞🏽! Management/Chefs: please remember that we can always add salt, but we cannot take it out. Please take this as positive, constructive criticism.. thank you :)

Good authentic Cuban food. Decent size portions for the price. We enjoyed the complimentary Cuban bread. Service was friendly and very hospitable. I had some communication issues. There was one server that told my party she was born in Florida and speaks good English. We mostly stick to her to get refills on drinks and ask questions about what's good to order. The other servers didn't understand what we were saying.

The cuban served here was very delicious. I was supposed for the amount of food they gave us for a cheap amount of price. People should come here if they are looked for an affordable place to eat, especially in Miami.

I visited this morning, June 21, at 7:50 am I ordered through the window because Dinne in we're closed. The blonde lady at the window was so rude , I think she hasn't had her Cuban coffee yet. The Cafe con Leche tasted bad Bread was hard. Wasted my time and money. Won't come back !

This place is right in front if a favorite fishing spot of mine, so I always order from the take out window. The servers are always super friendly and my food comes out fast, hot, and tasty! I can't speak on anything inside the restaurant, but definitely would recommend!

It was super busy and looked alil understaffed.. I ordered my churrasco med-well, it came out med-rare, my yuca came out super dry and hard. My husband asked for over medium eggs it came out well done, not only that it took forever for us to even get our food…. The waitress was really nice and understanding

For 20 years I have been coming to this location in Pines. I have always been to their other locations. Some of their servers have been working at this location for years and make it better. I guess I don't know Cuban food since I like this place. Lol.

Loved the food, churrasco carretero is by far my favorite meal. So worth the money and the staff is great. The side order of plátanos is a good order.

Food came out quickly, good sized portions, friendly staff. Food was good but not great. I would visit them again and try something new. I had the snapper sandwich with fries, batter needs some seasoning, fish was cooked properly.

Awesome Cuban Cuisine! As authentic as you can find in the area. Great service and food. Had a "ropa vieja, arroz congri and amarillos" that were amazing. Don't forget to have a "colada" coffee.
